If you can curtail your ADHD for a bit you can concentrate on both games and be done with both of them within 2 or 3 days. With the "cheats".

The answer is clearly 4. You library games having bastard.
what's my adhd? I think I generally stick to one or two games at a time, although lately I have been bouncing around between different fighting games a lot. and godzilla. but yeah, you're probably right. I wish I would've used a guide on my first run on ps3 so I would've known about some of the trophies. whaaaatevvvveeerrr.

You don't have Option 5?

5. Pick it up and renew it every week as needed until you plat both versions

Otherwise, just pick it up and try for option 4. Who's "more deserving" of it than you anyway?
there's a queue of 16 people so far with holds on 5 copies, so no renewals. usually at least one of the copies gets stolen or something so it'd be months before it got back to me.

I'm liking Bound by Flame quite a bit. I'm near the end of Act I (there are 3 acts.) The trophy list is pretty easy and mostly comes naturally, though there are 4 pairings (2 per gender) and that requires 2 complete playthroughs and 4 playthroughs total of Act III (1 per pairing.) You also have to max out the three skill trees; you get 2 skill points per level and you can max a tree out at level 19, so I'm sitting on all my points then will save/reload to max out all three in turn when I get that far.

The character progression is interesting. All of the progression comes from skill upgrades and feats (you get 1 feat skill per level.) You start at 100hp and 100 mana and that's what you have at the end of the game unless you upgrade those through the feat system (still only gets you up to 120/120 max.) The skills are things like upgrading your parry radius from 120 degrees to 360, increasing the chance of a crit on a parry, and things of that nature. There's also skill for regeneration, improving your ability to interrupt enemy attacks or knock them down, etc..

Since I'm holding onto all my skill points my character is a bit feeble even on easy. There are points in the game where you can get swarmed a bit and so I'm having to go pretty carefully. If I let myself get surrounded then I get pounded into the dirt pretty quickly due to poor parry radius and even common enemy attacks hitting pretty hard.

This is my first Spiders game, so it's gotten me more interested in playing Of Orcs and Men. I'm pretty curious how they went from developing Of Orcs and Men to having the prequel, Styx: Master of Shadows being developed by a different company, though.

ok guys help me out. I have the god of war 3 remaster waiting for me at the library. Do I:

1. cancel the hold so someone more deserving can have it

2. cancel the hold and play god of war 3 on ps3 to try to finish up the plat

3. pick it up and try to get through the whole game in a week

4. pick it up and try to get through the whole game in a week and also finish up the ps3 plat so I can have the sweet double plat
The fact that you would not immediately know the correct answer is #4 makes me question your place in this thread.

I was trying to be all fancy and make the GoW 3 plat trophy #5000, but I may have gotten too hungry in getting other trophies to keep my trophy streak going.  I got my one for today, so I have one more I have to get before the last three GoW ones give me #5000.  I hope I don't have to decide which arbitrary thing to honor and can keep both by barreling through my Titan playthrough wicked fast tonight.  Yay for the infinite health/max weapons glitch at least.

So over 38 hours into Beach Buggy Racing and the 2 grindy trophies are at 61% (distance traveled) and 53% (coins won).  I am thinking 2000 ranked matches in Divekick might take less time than this.

according to the japanese capcom twitter account the sf5 beta is on hold until they work out the server problems.  I still haven't gotten in, but it sounds like not many people have.

glitch lovers need to be on standby Saturday night in to Sunday morning.  best buy has one of those promos where you buy two games and get $45 off.  gcu stacking before or after the $45, maybe it'll work on preorders, maybe it'll work on any game if you select one from the list, whatever - something weird will probably happen and I'll be jealous of all of you that get in on it.

Is there any reason you won't be able to get in on any glitch action? It's usually around 1:30-2am EST if/when something happens.

Also, LEGO Jurassic World looks to be part of the promo, so on the off-chance it glitches but only works on the advertised games, getting that on PS4/XB1 might be a good flip to Gamestop for the $37.50 base TIV.

Thanks for making me curious. I ventured into the game deals forum for the first time in months. Big mistake. Although the BB ad post was pretty funny.

Jurassic World is one of the better Lego games, but I am shocked the trade in is still that high anywhere.
Gamestop is having a $30-cash trade-in promo for select games (LEGO Jurassic World being one of them, but only for PS4/XB1) this weekend, and since the cash value is 20% less than the store-credit value, that makes the latter value $37.50. It's unknown whether the higher values will last until the new 50% bonus coupons go live on Monday.

I thought my kids got up too damn early. They would get told to go the fuck back to bed if they got up then.
We just live on a slightly different schedule than most. They go to bed at 7. We're usually in bed around 10. Then I'm up at 4:30 and I get everyone ready for the day when they get up. It's nice on the weekends since we can go out to breakfast or to a park or whatever before most people realize the sun is up. And I'm usually home from work around 4p. But it obviously makes late nights a bitch.

I've been hearing/reading good things about Wayward Pines. Since the finale just aired, does anyone in here recommend it?
First 6 episodes were really good but then they give away the big secret so the last couple episodes have been just okay to me. I havent seen the finale yet so depending on how they wrap it up will depend on if I can fully recommend it.

Damn mild are you actually trying to go for the 2000 games in divekick?
At least for this weekend I have an extra fight stick so I thought I'd just see how far I could get with two turbo controllers fighting each other. I wasn't planning on bothering with them ever but when I set it up for zimm I wondered if it'd be possible. I doubt I'll make it to 2000 though - there's a giant wait between matches that makes each match in total take at least 5 minutes. so even if I ran it for 12 hours Saturday and Sunday that'd be less than 300 total.

It's really a dumb trophy and going for it is even dumber, but my curiosity has the best of me and I am, at my core, a chump. The 1000 versus matches just took a day as best as I can tell.

Hey guys, remember that time Mild said he was done going for dumb trophies?
