I'd tend to say no, at least until we have some hard data on what the early days of DX12 are going to look like (and maybe until we're well and truly into the DX12 era). What is the regular price on this thing?
if memory serves me right, arent the 80's always around 650?
Also, I have a 780. I wonder if the upgrade is even worth it.
With a 780, nope. What is the regular price on this thing?

Your card will serve fine with most games. Some do give/get benefits from nVidia, I think Batman and pCARS (should avoid it anyway) are two that really kill ATi, but their cards have suffered with poor drivers for years and years. I read it's been better since the last couple of updates, one game that really used to suffer was rFactor2 but now it runs well.jesus, and I thoughr $200 for my secondhand R9 290 was a good a deal (plus $90 for copper VRM heatspreaders, NZXT AIO cooling bracket, and an AMD AIO cooler). To be fair, she runs like a boss, and has served me spectacularly since last October (and a hundred hours of Witcher 2, supersampled, among countless others).
But at $200 more? - if I had not already gone through all of that labor with the R9, I would be all up in this deal...
Holy shit, led on video cards.5 individually controllable LEDs. I have 0.(
lol everything looks like shit on consoles when compared to PC. This is nothing newGreat so MGSV will look like complete shit on consoles. X-(
MGS should stay console exclusive. The PC people should have to come to us.
Ehh, well that is true if the gpu can handle it.lol everything looks like shit on consoles when compared to PC. This is nothing new
Most of us had /have retard boxes and realized pc's are far superior.
The thing is, as far as I remember, with the exception of the original MGS(even then we got Twin Snakes later), no MGS' ever came to PC.lol everything looks like shit on consoles when compared to PC. This is nothing new

What is the info on the 4K monitor? That could be a fine price to be honest. You want to check for overall lag, not just the traditional 5ms advertised as it is usually way more, with input and visual lag.Going to build a PC soon, was planning on a 980TI...got offered am already build rig used with a Titan X and 4K monitor, i7, 4TB HDD and 250GB SSD for $1500.
You computer guys think I should jump on that?
Well, that's well after console launch. If you're talking about launch prices, a $500 PC is better than a Xbone or PS4 hands down, and then add everything else the PC can do and it's game over. Now, in the $300 range they are releasing a ton of Steam boxes and some of them are falling in that range so again, not an impossibility.Ehh, well that is true if the gpu can handle it.
But for what you're paying on these consoles you can't build a comparable PC. Don't care what people say, a $300-350 PC is gonna be a piece of junk.
It was a nice Samsung monitor. He sold it all though so it was a good deal. By the time I got a chance to talk to the wife it was gone. Oh well win some lose some. A couple months back I got a 2014 rMacBook Pro 15" loaded out that normally goes for $2500+ for $500 because it had a small crack on the LCD. That was a nice little flip. I just like the thrill of the hint like the rest of you. What is the info on the 4K monitor? That could be a fine price to be honest. If you're going for FPS and be competitive, you want < 20ms, otherwise, up to 25ms is mighty fine and 30ms is acceptable. You really don't want to go beyond that at all.
meh, seems like a pretty bad deal tbh.Going to build a PC soon, was planning on a 980TI...got offered am already build rig used with a Titan X and 4K monitor, i7, 4TB HDD and 250GB SSD for $1500.
