This guy is hilarious:

  • Courtney the virtual assistant is terrifying. She knows my name!! I tried to get used to the idea of talking to my computer to make it do things, but after five minutes, I came to the conclusion that my workflow could never benefit from such a silly thing. Moreover, I've found that she reawakens feelings inside me that I haven't felt in years...I'd like to get rid of this evil temptress, but I can't find an option to perform an exorcism on my PC. Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue in a future update?
  • What happened to my desktop gadgets? I don't know what a "CPU" is, but it made me feel really cool to have dials and meters on my desktop. It's just like a space movie! Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue in a future update?
  • I heard from the grapevine that there's a new "virtual desktop" feature in Windows 10. I removed all my clothes and made sure my webcam was connected, but even after looking around tirelessly, I couldn't find an option to scan my molecules and enter a virtual world. Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue in a future update?
  • When I made my coffee this morning, I didn't wait long enough for it to cool down and I burned myself. Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue in a future update?
  • What happened to the blurred glass windows? I used to be able to see my family at our Grand Canyon trip through the titlebars. I have a short-term memory defect, and it was nice to be reminded that I have a family. Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue in a future update?

Looks like that 20% PS+ discount for N++ might have been a mistake because I don't see it anymore. I guess I'll wait for it to hit Plus.

Shadows of the Damned is great. Any game where you get to use your big boner as a weapon is awesome. Also your guns shoot teeth and bones. It's RE4.5 Shinji Mikami crack.

Yeah, this is probably the best chance for me to rebuy it so I can finally go for the plat. I only have the Easy/Hard difficulty and get-all-red-gems trophies left anyway, so it hopefully wouldn't take me that long.

 
Here's a good gameplay video of Breach & Clear for Vita. Looks interesting. It seems more like a tactical puzzle game than anything else. For $2.25 I'll give it a shot.

I'm happy to report that new Risk is just awesome Risk. Lots of options for game starting. Easy to navigate your board and options. Dice are still dicks.

They do card trade-in a little differently, but that just may be the new Risk rules, not the game itself.

I also played online last night I n a two player game, and they designated some countries as neutral. At the beginning of each players' turn they are given three troops to put on one of the neutral territories. A good way to fuck with your opponent and add some variety to 1 on 1 games.

If you like Risk you'll dig it.

I read a lot of those Nintendo choose your own adventure books, it was was somewhat unsettling the ways they would kill Mario.

That is a fabulous price on Shadows of the Damned, it's probably one of the least polarizing Suda games for PS3 and only available on disc. It does require 3 playthroughs to plat though since the difficulty trophies don't stack.

2 days left to redeem your club Nintendo codes and download the games. I almost forgot about mine.

Thought maybe I could snag a couple other codes on the cheap, since they'll be useless in 2 days, but the code thread people there still think they're going to pull top dollar.

I hadn't heard of the game, but I think I'm gonna grab one after work today since the GS by my park and ride has a copy. Seems the playthroughs aren't that long individually.

I'm still confused about why, though. Broken Sword 1 and 2 aren't available on PSN at all. This really will only appeal to people that played the first two games somewhere else and decide to move to PSV/PS4 for the 5th game. Seems unlikely to be a large crowd.

And you don't even have to find all the red gems if you don't mind doing some glitch grinding. You can replay a portion of a chapter over and over to rack up the same red gem. I did that on my hard playthrough. Otherwise you will find 36 in the course of the game and you have to buy another 44+ from Christopher with white gems. So I stocked up on 55 or 60 or so with the glitch so that I had plenty of cushion to find enough for 80 total.

Techland has announced “The Following,” a “feature-heavy, story-based” expansion pack coming to Dying Light the studio first teased last week.
Dying Light: The Following will feature drivable, all-terrain dirt buggies, as well as a new map “the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined.”

“For Dying Light: The Following we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion,” producer Tymon Smektala said in a press release. “Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here.

“We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we’ve created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans.”

The expansion will be available for purchase separately, but will also be made free to all Season Pass holders. It will be showcased behind closed doors at Gamescom next week, with a full public reveal following shortly after.

Saw some of them on the local (NY) Fios news this morning carrying free Brady posters. Uhm he isn't in jail. He is suspended from work for a month and his employer still loves him.
