This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I tried Ground Zeroes and it ran surprisingly well on my toaster, albeit only at 30 FPS. At least it looks way better than the 360 version. I still don't think I want to wait 2 weeks for everything to be spoiled on Phantom Pain though.

I won a raffle to play against Blizzard's HotS community manager in the game of my choice. I chose Modern Warfare 2. It will be live on his Twitch at 7 Eastern if any of you want to come root me on.

Note: His personal Twitch has nothing to do with Blizzard.
Represent! Try not to embarrass your CAG peeps; we're counting on you!

Wait: You chose Call of Duty.....

MOBAs are the biggest thing in PC gaming right now. Many critics claimed PC gaming was going to be dead in a few years right before MOBAs and F2P games gained so much popularity.

I'm doing it for the master race.

UR WELCUM

Also - I like HotS. I could give 2 shits what anyone thinks about what tickles my g spot.
i can see hots actually competing against LOL, unlike Dota 2

Tremor sure is getting colorful today.

I've had nothing but problems with Tremor's videos over the last couple days.  Most of them just keep spinning now and never actually play.  :(

A bunch of them were doing that for me too. I got to know which ones were broken and just ignore those ones and look for different ones if they pop up every so often.

I wonder if these rather ecchi ones are their attempt to replace the bad videos with different ones.

I just had "Tits or Treat?" pop up which didn't show on the first batch.

Sometimes a decent game will be 99 coins, either thanks to Happy Hour or when they're trying to clear stock. Buying TF2 keys from them is not a bad investment, if you're Canadian, as they act as instant $2.70ish CAD cash boosters. I've been buying some myself, to build up my Steam Wallet, to put towards a future GTA V steam sale, as non-Steam deals aren't that great when my local currency is weak.

And for card idling, some games have cards that are worth quite a bit, but of course many of the games sold by Tremor have relatively worthless cards, too.

You tremorbros are almost as bad as consolebros.
Far worse. I'd rather flip cereal box tops than grind out advertisements and surveys. But hey, cheapasses and whatnot.

edit: I might think differently if I wasn't hopelessly addicted to buying shitty bundles.

The Best Cod is from Ivar's.  Alaskan True Cod.  I Prefer it Breaded Cajun Style, but they have a Regular Batter for you people with Sensitive Tongues.  My Dog is Part German Shepherd.  Also, MysterD, can you Please explain the Joke about that CoD being Called Ghosts?  Is there Ghosting in the Game?

Okay, do you mean no one is playing the MP of Ghosts so it is a "Ghost" town or full of "Ghosts?"  But then how is that applicable to the SP?  Or is it just the MP is of poor "quality?"  Also, why did we put "quality" in quotations?  Because you could use it as a neutral descriptor and not a positive one with out using the quotes.

I'm not sure but i think it's because some of the people who worked on the game may have died. It's a pretty messed up joke if you ask me
Nope.

Also, MysterD, can you Please explain the Joke about that CoD being Called Ghosts? Is there Ghosting in the Game?
A lot of people don't like it, basically treating COD Ghosts like it doesn't exist anymore.

Like Dragon Age 2.

Any Windows 10 users having problems with Xbox one controller?
Tech support answer: Make certain the controller is plugged in and powered on. Then begin to play a "computer game" that supports the controller. Finally, be sure to push the buttons and move the sticks.

So a new Witcher 3 patch is due out soon. Apparently, CD Projekt RED decided to give players a potion that reduces level requirements for certain equipment whose level requirements were increased as a result of the previous patch, thus leaving players with unusable equipment equipped(!). While that's pretty strange and a very odd solution to this problem, I found this guy's comment hilarious:

While I've never been unable to don certain garments after intercourse personally, maybe Geralt has some very unusual performance-related issues.
