I don't recall having issues when I played it a year ago. Are you playing in HD? Stupid question, I know, but I remember when I first got a 360 and Dead Rising, only to find I needed to buy a new HDTV to read the damn text telling me where to go.

Haha I do have it on. I tried both upscaled 1080p (my default) or forcing it down to 720p, but it still didn't help. Oh well, I'm gonna try a couple more times because the game feels interesting. Reminds me of Deus Ex.


On a side note, I just bought Max. Now I have to decide whether to add Syberia and/or Sonic racing to the backlog. Help?

Looking back through my activity feed, it seems like it's more likely to work when the two people are mutual friends on XBL. For example: I added Motown and send his invite immediately. A few days later he added me. His didn't work. I added sorven and sent his but (I don't think) he's added me. His didn't work.

When I sent invites for people who were already on my friends list and had already added me to their friends list, it seems to have worked.


Just a theory. I'm not sure of other people's experiences.

EA is also attempting to add BC 360 titles to EA Access. Which isn't as impossible sounding as before because of Rare Replay limiting BC 360 licenses to X1.

The best news here is maybe they'll put more effort into making multi-disc games playable. Mass Effect and Dead Space would probably be a good idea for them to try and prove Access worth.

I haven't watched the trailer but the email mentioned driving buggies and having a driving skill tree. This leads me to believe that the new area, while big, will probably just be a vast expanse of nothing.

However, I just got the game last week and once I get into it, I can see myself getting the Season Pass.
