You can play this game with literally two buttons. I hate baseball but I love fun baseball video games and this is the most fun baseball game I've played since I had a regular Nintendo.

I saw North in the theater growing up. He is right, it was a piece of shit movie. If they made a Brothers movie it would almost certainly be worse
 
I had fun with baseball, it's around an hour demo. I got almost 2 5 inning games. My first game was 2-0 win. First batter, strike out. 2nd, first pitch homer. 3rd, homer. Not another hit. Second game I was winning 14-3 when time ran out.

Pitching is interesting, hard to get a good number for me. I like batting. I'll buy it at 10.
 
I didn't realize Xbox Rewards was still doing the bonus $15 thing and free release day shipping through MSstore. I grabbed Phantom Pain 360 when it was glitched at $42 on Amazon but that doesn't include release day shipping, so I guess I'm switching. $8 is worth it for the speed and $15 of MS money to me.

Each pre-order gives $15 in xbox rewards credit. The catch that nobody seems to be mentioning is that in the fine print it says up to 3 seperate games. Who knows if you'll get your credit after the third pre-order ships..
 
Does anyone have a list of 360 disc based games that are not on the market place/ for download (Lost Odyssey, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect, DA:I etc.)

Curious for collection purposes, I know Splinter Cell Blacklist was supposedly teased during the BC announcement for X1 and It's not currently available, so they must be working on more solutions for the multi disc games.

There's a new and incredibly shitty punchcard. It literally is buy 5 games at full retail and get 15k points. A steaming pile if I've ever seen one.
 
Not sure if anyone posted about this, but Killer Instinct is going to be crossplay AND crossbuy. Crossbuy being a big deal for those of us who play on both Xbone and PC (like myself). I think that might be the last reason I need to pull the trigger on the Complete Collection the next time it gets a good sale, especially since Season 3 should add enough content to it to finally make it a "full game" (provided they stick to the current model).

My only hesitation is that they'll release a decently discounted digital bundle with all 3 seasons right after the current bundle gets a good sale. I guess we'll see what the sales are like from now until March.

A retail option would also be nice, but would remove the possibility of owning it on both platforms for the same price. Tough call.

And before anyone asks, it'd be on the Win 10 store (so Win 10 exclusive), NOT Steam.

Edit: Also, expect a major Xbone UI overhaul in the near future.

Oh the list is big from a brief sampling that I've taken, especially games released in the first two years the system was out. Even exclusives like Tenchu Z, Ninja Blade, Night Nine Nights 1 (EXTREEEEEEEEEEME) yet 2 is still there. Saints Row 1, etc. I can understand Blue Dragon and Lost Odssey till they figure out the multi-disc issues but there is quite a few games not available right now.

Doesn't bode well for X1 BC unless more companies are going to go the Ubisoft route which I doubt and that is making games not games on demand to become available. Because AFAIK there needs to be a digital version available or the publisher needs to make it available which would require a Games on Demand version I'd *assume*

Edit: Going by Wikipedia I got 1,059 titles released in the US (took away the un-released and games not available in the US) only 614 are Games on Demand so... a lot are missing.

I was totally against going all digital until I realized just how many 360 games I have and how much physical space the cases can use. I'll be moving in a few months and I'm trying to figure out whether to sell off all the ones I have digitally or not. But at $19.99 or more, a lot of the ones I want are not worth rebuying on Games on Demand when I already have a copy. I realize smaller publishers want to make as much revenue as they can on their titles but games like Raiden IV were never going to be sellers like Halo. Why niche publishers don't discount their games more often on Live is beyond me.

Yeah I guess the biggest fear people have is MS/Sony pulls the plug on digital licenses and you can't re-download the titles you lost which has happeneded in rare cases but I can never see MS going under anytime soon lol.

I wouldn't bother re-buying any games digitally if you have so many 360 games already unless you plan on playing the games again and they are backwards with the X1.

Digital is great but at a obvious cost. I got a 3TB external for the X1 and It's already 30% full. Factor in BC and future releases I'll probably need a 6+TB in four or five years so hopefully the cost is even cheaper by then.

But on the upside with game sharing me and my friends only have to buy one copy of the game. Factor in no disc switching, saving space in a already overcrowded game room... no way I can go back to disc only unless It's for a specific title like Skylanders.

As for why more companies don't put their games on sale ala Steam sales is beyond me. If Raiden IV was on sale for $2.99 I'm sure they would see more revenue from one week of sales then they would in months of sales.

I totally agree with you there. I don't mind rebuying games for the sake of convenience. If it's $5 or less on sale, I don't even think about it first most of the time. And speaking of Skylanders, I recently found a copy of Swap Force for 360 with the game, portal and figures for $12 which I have been thinking about opening and playing. Was that a good deal, and is the game any good? I bought it at Kroger of all places. It was the only copy and I didn't know that they sold video games. The sticker said it was marked down from $74.99 to $12. LOL!

Skylanders is alright. It's like a Diablo-lite to me. You can beat the game with the base figures but the side portals will always taunt you "You need a Skylander of the blah blah element to use this portal." when most of those times the portals are done real quick. You don't need to blow your money on all the figures. I just wish they offered a digital copy via voucher code or something because I am literally down to disc XB1 games and It pains me knowing I'll have to keep the Skylanders disc because Activision hates me.

I have played all the Skylanders games with my daughter, and Swap Force is the best one. Just don't fall into the trap of buying all the figures. I am pretty sure you can get all the achievements with just the figures in the box.

 
What's the problem with multi disc games being bc? There are several multi disc games on demand on 360. Did ms say this would be an issue or is it merely speculation?

"We're still working on multi-disc," he said. "Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are some of my favourites from the 360. There's actually work in packing a multi-disc into single that requires us to go back and look at the original package on the multiple discs and reconfigure that."

Some work fine as you said LA Noire and a few others are up. But we still don't have Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell Blacklist (being worked on) and other multi disc games because... reasons.

Just played my first game of Super Mega Baseball. Apparently it's pretty easy to hit home runs. Won my first game 20-0, but definitely thought it was fun. Gonna start up a season soon.

I guess my first game is ranked #390 on the leaderboards, thing is, I didn't score til the 3rd inning and didn't get my last at bat cause I was home

Agree with all the Super Mega Baseball reviews...this game is fantastic, especially for anybody who needs their baseball fix on Xbox, since RBI Baseball is horrible

What ego were you playing at? 40 and lower seems to be pretty easy but 50-55 give me a good run for my money.

As much as I love the game, I'm a bit disappointed by the number of options for customization. There are enough things to make a bunch of random and goofy characters, but if you're trying to make teams of real people, it all starts to blend together rather quickly with only like 3 real looking heads. For a game without the MLB license I would have liked to have been able to create more unique players instead of 8 guys on my team who look almost identical. Sucks we can't edit the stats and team names / colors as well, but I get why they're hesitant to do that with the leaderboard aspect, and to be fair they've been good about supporting the game on PS4. Maybe this will all be addressed a patch down the road. A roster share would be nice too. But that's really the only knock I have on the game, I still can't get over how simple yet great the gameplay is.

Anyone who played the Super Mega Baseball Extra Innings trial, did it unlock achievements or no? I wanna try it out but don't wanna be stuck with an achievement like No Time To Explain.

I'm up to level 69 and am playing a long season on the PS4 with it. I'm 12-3 so far and the games are usually close. I tried 99 when I first started and was that a disaster.

Long Rant Start:
You know what really grinds my gears. This fuckin console. ALL day its been acting like a real cunt. Woke up early, feeling already like crap. I decide, "Hey, time to FINALLY play Far Cry 4." Console says, "lol NOPE." Why? Cause its poorly programmed bullshit. Had to update. Wouldn't update. Kept saying Installation Stopped! Look online. People says you might not have enough storage. I have a 2tb that's 61% full! Then I uninstall. Won't uninstall. Hard reset. Does nothing. 3 hard resets later, it lets me uninstall. Try to reinstall to 2tb, "lol NOPE" again. Hard reset. Selected console hard drive while being offline, works. Lost interest. Then, downloaded Super Mega Kamehameha Baseball Extra Sauce EX + but find out you unlock achievements. So I change profiles. Load it up, "lol NOPE". Keeps asking for the games owner. BITCH ITS A TRIAL! Redownload as other account? Nope again. Uninstall to download again as new account? SHOCKER INCOMING. lol NOPE. Hard reset. Uninstall. Redownload as new account. fuck me sideways.

You just had to do this because of my typo..right? And welp almost any game is better than Amy, so that's not really helpful xp

since Max has been GWG on the Xbone, one could assume it could be Gwg for the 360 as well at some point even though it's almost full retail titles now that are given out on the 360 or quite popular arcade games...hmm

Just get it, man. It's cheaper than a Red Bull and a lot of fun. You won't regret it.
