Who?  Bruticis?  I think he liked it but he likes a lot of crappy games.  If you liked Gothic 1 and 2, you'll hate it.  If you liked Risen 2 and 'mainstream' rpgs you'll probably like it.

Didn't see this posted, daily deal on Capy Games:

Capy Games Bundle (71% off)  $34.99  $9.99

Well if it ever does get ported to PC it's guaranteed to be in a Poopees bundle at a $20 tier. They'd probably do a $50 special surprise present box tier too with the damned vibrator. The surprise being that it's actually Jonny's used toys.

Pre-ordered. How's it feel, PC peasants? You aren't getting this game. it's finally Vita's time. You hear me? We win! We finally win! Ahahahahahahahaha!!!!
We'll definitely get this. Ridiculous games like these are what the PC is made for.

*goes back to fapping over HuniePop and Sakura Beach*

I have a confession bros. I think I like PewDiePie. I know. I'm so sorry. I didn't go into it thinking I was going to fall for him. I was just hooked by him playing random stupid games I never heard of. What can I say? I'm weak. Maybe aliens switched my soul with that of a teenage boy. It's gotten so bad I even found the spanish PewDiePie. His name is German. I think he is from Chile and I like his videos too. Perdonenme hermanos!!!!
Don't worry, there is a mass amount of weabo trash here- unless you're one of them, you're still a god in comparison.

shameful admission time. i just tried g2a for the first time. 10 bucks for Cities Skylines. the delay for entering your key and finding out whether it's legit or used was the longest purgatory i've ever felt in my life. i was so prepared for it to be bogus and write some masturbatory tirade here yelling "G2A SUCKS!", but alas, the key worked. i feel so deflated now. anyways, gonna build a city and flood it with poorly placed dams now.

Risen 3: Titan Lords PC has gotten a free graphical upgrade patch:

http://steamcommunity.com/games/249230/announcements/detail/38632260317317235

Risen 3: Titan Lords: The graphical fidelity has Risen
AUGUST 21 - DG_DEEPSILVER
...now that we have your attention with our terrible pun, today we'd like to announce that, courtesy of a free automatic update for those who already have the game in their library, we're bringing a slew of visual enhancements to Risen 3: Titan Lords for players running the game on a 64-bit Operating System -

- Improved texture resolution for items, objects, foliage, terrain, particle effects, characters, monsters and other in-game models.
- Improved draw distance & viewing ranges
- Larger caches leading to smoother frame-rates & less LOD streaming
- The introduction of new state of the art post-process effects such as bokeh depth of field and HDR bloom
- Addition of a new physically based, more visually realistic cloud rendering technique that adds even more spectacular skies and sunsets to the dynamic day-night cycles.

For those of you yet to own Risen 3: Titan Lords, fear not: if you're running on a 64-bit OS then you'll automatically receive the 64-bit version of the game upon purchase. Due to the fact that the above improvements are only possible through the extra bandwidth switching to 64-bit affords us, those of you running on a 32-bit OS & purchasing the game will receive the original 32-bit version, which will of course update automatically should you ever move to a 64-bit OS at a future point.

In addition any DLCs that you have previously purchased (or may purchase in future) will obviously also function in the 64-bit version and all save games & previously obtained Steam achievements will also transfer from the 32-bit version to 64-bit version.

All the best!
The Risen 3: Titan Lords Team

Ye, I thought it was the Enhanced Edition, but it's not, so I'm more worried now than before.
to the actual one. This smells really bad.

Ok, according to some poeple on the Risen 3 hub, which links to developer site (german) the update, which is free, is the Enhanced Edition.

I hope this is true, and they will change later the store name to reflect this.

PS4 version just got an Enhanced Edition. Maybe this is putting PC on par (at least) and/or above w/ that?

A lot of people complaining on Steam boards that their PC performance went out the window b/c of this patch - even w/ SLI 970's.

Maybe they should've released this new version as a separate entry in Steam library?

EDIT:

Okay, I didn't even run this game before this new patch. LOL.

I'm gonna have to run the new version & see how it runs here.

Good news about the Risen 3 update.

If you haven't bought it the game yet or you are planning to do it, you don't need to buy the complete version.
Just the plain version which is on sale.

It seems buying the normal version, which is the cheapest, grants you automaticatly with all the DLCs, so you cansave some money.

Some people have reported they got it free, whether this is intentional or not, I don't know

Pretty sure it's not intentional. If you look at Deep Silver's announcement, you can find this:

"In addition any DLCs that you have previously purchased (or may purchase in future) will obviously also function in the 64-bit version and all save games & previously obtained Steam achievements will also transfer from the 32-bit version to 64-bit version."

I expect it'll get fixed soon

Risen 3 PC performance since new graphical-patch update.

Quick run-through here.

Well, the game itself looks really nice - i.e. the actual game-world, textures, objects, and foliage; lots of details there. The actual character models don't seem to be on the same level of graphics quality as the actual world itself now - they look alright, but nowhere as good as the actual game-world itself. The game-world just looks vibrant, colorful, and really nice loaded w/ details and objects everywhere.

So, I have everything here on my PC (i7 950; 16 GB RAM; 4GB VRAM GF 960) maxed-out at 1080p on Risen 3 PC here - which is what the game has it set to on default by my PC when I booted this up. I'm getting framerates all over the place from 35-50 frames when outdoors bouncing around, but around 53-60 frames when indoors. Yeah, performance is all over the place.

Looks like I'm going to have to use MSI Afterburner and lock these framerates down to 40 frames max or something. Hopefully, that'll solve the rises + drops in framerate issue.

EDIT:

So, now about an hour into this. Yep, locking down to 40 frames max w/ MSI Afterburner keeps the framerate stable b/t 35-40 frames at max settings on 1080p. This'll do just fine for me now. Back to the game.

That seems like a perfectly reasonable response. Good for them :)

I've got no strong feeling towards either side of the argument but I like that Red Hook has given people the option of playing how they want. They can always limit the "hard" achievements to people playing without stuff turned off. Or, maybe like CKII, an Ironman mode.

See? The sky isn't falling. I'm talking to you stupid internet commenter. Yes you, Jimmy.

Yup. They added DLCs while they added 64bit version lol.

But when's Enhanced Edition coming to PC?

Maybe they canceled it and decided to release as update? Nice, if so.

They added the three DLC packs to the game.

If I buy the set now, will I get to keep the stuff if it gets removed from the game?

The giveaway is still active according to my screen, but I can't log in when trying to add the game to my wishlist. It's 1 per account, by the way.

I have little to no intention of actually playing Payday 2, but I want it. Is now the time to buy the GoTY edition? BTW don't answer my question.

I have been playing the free weekend stuff. Don't really like it, but probably will buy the GOTY edition anyway.

At least, i'm considering it while waiting for spoderman to tell me it was cheaper if I bought it somewhere using rupees.

I can help spoderman I guess.

It was free for those who helped traders to open 4 packs, back before the big region locked around Novemeber 2014.

Obviously not GOTY, just base game, so at least you can feel better.

PayDay 2 has more DLC than friggin' Magicka, and they seem pretty happy releasing new DLC for it often, so don't expect a proper GOTY release with all DLC anytime soon.

The current GOTY only has 14 DLCs out of the total 25, and that's not counting the 9 "free" DLCs.

The Flock will have a limited time to be purchasable. The time left for you to buy the game depends on the amount of Flock lives left in the game. We commit ourselves to a hands-off approach and put the lastingness of the game into your hands.

With each death in the game, one life will be taken from the Flock’s population. When the Flock’s population reaches zero, the game will never be purchasable again. Only players who have The Flock in their Steam library will then go to the next phase and be able to partake in the yet to be announced climactic finale. After the ending, the game will go offline permanently and no longer be playable.
I think I'll pass

Ok.

Looks like Mafia 2 got removed.
It... didn't?

I can still see the store page for it and the DLCs. If the game had gotten pulled completely then it wouldn't even load at all. Something's up, maybe the game is getting removed from sale but the store listing will stay up?

Edit:

The game is no longer available at GamersGate or GreenManGaming. It's definitely been pulled.
