This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

eh, whatevs. rather wait for it to be good than play a shitty bug filled game early.
That's one reason.

I also bet they probably don't want XCOM 2 to come out in November when Fallout 4, new AC, and new COD are coming out.

Maybe by Feb 2016, gamers might be ready to give FO4 a break. ;)

How often does Payday 2 go on sale? What's a good price to pay for it?
It goes on sale pretty frequently, but you just missed a big anniversary sale for it last week. You should be able to get it for no more than $5 if you look around and/or are patient. FWIW, I do think it's worth much more than that. I got it in a 4-pack during the summer sale so I paid $3.74 but didn't think I'd play it as much as I did. I spent $90 during that sale and I've still only played Payday out of that bunch.

Humble Bundle has a build your own bundle for Telltale or Codemasters games.  The Telltale one gives you 80, 83 and 85 percent off for 3, 4 or 5 games.  The Codemaster one is 3/66, 4/72, 5/75.

Most of the rest of the day's deals are pretty good as well, but most of the things that caught my eye had been as cheap elsewhere before.

Game of Thrones

Tales from the Borderlands

Back to the Future

Poker Night at the Inventory

Poker Night 2

Total:  $13.49  (and a free game, thanks for a good day Humble) :)

It was 15 something, but throwing in those two extra poker games actually saved me like a buck and a half.

I just picked up a few things from that build your own bundle as well. I had to when I saw how cheap it came out.

BTW, if someone just wants Tales From The Borderlands, it's $6.79 total if you throw that in with the three games listed at $.99.

I took JP, TFTB, TWAU, GoT & Poker Night 2 at $17.24.

Wow.

I need Game of Thrones, Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead S2, Jurassic Park and Tales from the Borderlands. Buying all those is $20 total.

So very tempting... too bad they don't have the Sam and Max or StrongBad seasons listed. :(

Edit: STEALTH INC 2 SOUNDTRACK IS MP3 ONLY

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead have both been free from IGN Prime. I feel like Tales From the Borderlands will be, too.

The Wolf Among Us hasn't been free on IGN prime AFAIK, it has been free via another giveaway site though

Maybe the mobile version was free on prime or something, I don't know. Also, only The Walking Dead season 2 was free, although the first one was bundled so most people have it anyway.

Have Chaos on Deponia or Goodbye Deponia been bundled before?  I don't really want to buy them for $3 each but they remind me of the old school Lucas Arts adventure games and those were good times.

They can't release Day of the Tentacle soon enough.

thanks for this. purchased

Game of Thrones

The Wolf Among Us

Tales from the Borderlands

Walking Dead season 2

Walking Dead 400 days

For $16.49. throw out 400 days, and it's 4 quality Telltale for a little over 4 bucks each. now for some GoT nudity, whoop!

Just finished Game Of Thrones: Episode 1. If you're a fan of the HBO show and you like the way TellTale does things w/ their interactive story/movie/novel/game/whatever you want to call it - I'm sure you'll really dig it. Just, make sure you've boned-up on your GOT knowledge b/c it takes place in the midst of one of the show's TV seasons and just throws you right into the fray, hoping you're a fan of the TV show.

To be specific - Telltale's GOT Ep 1 here starts right around the events of The Red Wedding.

With taking the things that come w/ a TellTale game with gripping moments; plot twists; excellent story-telling + voice-acting (with some voice-overs from characters on the show); and decisions that will shape the actual journey of the game  - looks like TellTale has done it again.

If you don't like Telltale's stuff - I don't think this game will change your mind on their type of games.

If you do like TellTale's stuff & like GOT...

I'm pretty sure they have, multiple times.

You're better off buying them at Nuuvem at a discount.

Looking forward to this one
No you aren't...liar!

The first Deponia has been bundled to hell and back, but AFAIK and according to ITAD the sequels haven't (yet).

Best deal was probably last summer when Deponia: The Complete Journey could be bought from Russians for one ~1 TF2 key.

You can get the Complete Journey, all three games in one for $5.99

I suggest you all throw in Poker Night 2 to get a bigger discount... and send me the extra key.  DOH HO HO!

Thanks Fatality~

I would give you mine but I'm not touching any of them in case Telltale tries to pull some shit and not give those keys and stick us with their crap DRM no one wants.

If that happens I'll pitch a bitch until I get my money back or dispute with PayPal.

Sorry to be a Chicken Little Foxhack but I just don't trust developers or publishers.

Humble promised to get more so we're supposed to get them eventually, I just don't quite trust that Telltale won't pull shenanigans.

This is Telltale. After the shit they pulled with discontinuing the free DVDs they were supposed to give to people who bought games from them directly? I don't trust them to not try something to get out of giving us Steam keys. Your distrust is completely warranted.

Edit: I wouldn't mind it so much if they gave us access to the DVD extras in digital form.

Thank you dumbasses for the imminent incoming humble telltale bundle. I appreciate each and everyone of you. Your sacrifices will not be in vain. The 🍔 god is much pleased.

Ps today is national moonshine day

Pss not really, I just made that up

Psss I'm drunker than drabe

eh, I had most of their stuff already anyway and you know they'd put the good shit like Borderlands and Game of Thrones in some damned $10-$12 tier.

I already have the first one though so its the same cost either way. I'll just wait, getting Jurassic Park, Tales from Borderlands, and Game of Thrones for roughly $4.75 each has calmed my desire to buy things I won't play.
