Have you gotten any extra chests? I ended up getting 3 today but I haven't purchased anything. I got one after my first win today, one after my 5th win like I was supposed to and 1 after my 6th win of the day. I'm not complaining just wondering if it's happened on your end. Ended up getting a Bloodfire skin for Hades, a voice pack for Vamana, and the Righteous Hammer skin for Thor.

OF COURSE you're gonna get people who say they play fine. Theyre probably located near the limited servers. Even when the game works, its still broke. I can post videos upon videos of the bullshit in the game. Point blank shots missing. Snuck up behind to not even get a hit. The games broke and they didn't do a great job with CSS.

I merely said the game works just fine for me and many other people that have reported here. We even had CAG game night play it Friday night for 3 hours without anything happening. Maybe we all just live close to the servers, but to simply say it's broken isn't an accurate representation of what other people here have played. As I said, there's always people who have trouble with multi-player games, so in that sense every game is "broken" to some degree.

I haven't gotten any extra chests. I only got 1 arena match win in yesterday, was busy working and at a party but on Friday I did my 5 matches and only got 1 chest for the 5. I won all 5 the first match but then lost 3 matches of siege all in a row so finally gave up.

how do you play smite, it feels weird playing it with a controller, more like it was meant for a M/KB.

i just started, but i appreciate free games until i pick up something like MCC.

I like it a lot on Xbox one. It's all I play lately. Now that I'm 50 hours deep it feels normal to use the controller. The only thing that took a while was the buy menus. It is sometimes hard to aim the arch shot skills but everything else feels fine.
 
Bought Ziggurat for $7.50. That game is really fun. If you enjoy old school shooters,check it out.

It's a rougelite game where each time you play the levels and stuff is randomized including weapons, mods, etc. Plus there are multiple classes to unlock.

 
I would advise against buying Black Ops 3 until MS fixes the feedback/rep system.  Apparently during the beta all kinds of asshats were reporting/blocking and ruining people's reps for just doing well in matches.

Same thing is going on in Gears: UE. People are going from green(good rep) straight to red(Avoid) because of assholes. If that happens you can't play online MP at all apparently from reading through all the Gears threads mentioning it.

Looked at my rep for the last 6 months and have 0 complaints. Played hours and hours of Gears:UE and avoided d-bags so far, hope to keep it that way.

MS is aware of it though according to that reddit thread, so hope they get on it fast.

Super Toy Cars should be a game night candidate. Other than that, only thing that's intriguing is Quest of Dungeons. Anyone know if it happens to be a Rogue-Lite?

Also, didn't realize Mad Max came out this week. Was thinking that was October for some reason.

 
^ Probably cause Mad Max SHOULD'VE come out in October (or later) cause its sales arent going to be as good going up against MGSV. Shame, I REALLY wanted it to do well.
 
At this point they'd have to release the game next year to avoid all the big releases. I don't remember what games were releasing when the movie came out in theaters but maybe they should have started the game earlier to release with the movie in theaters rather than Blu ray. I'm sure the die hard fan will be grabbing the game over MGS but that may be it
 
I can't afford it right now. Plus, I wouldn't have the time anyway. MGSV, Destiny TTW, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Fallout 4, just to name a few.

You are correct. I read $14.99 previously last week, but that has been updated to $9.99. I changed my post. Regardless, the game looks pretty bad. Like a bland iPad game...

It is a randomly generated dungeon crawler. Looks pretty neat. The price is right, too. Trailer here explaining game features, etc.

Just thought I'd share a Good support experience, have a controller that drifts and acts like it's not calibrated but they say if it does that, you should send it in for a repair. I thought I'd have to pay shipping or get rejected but instead got this response and a new one on the way. Don't even have to return faulty one. Been in preview about a year and Xbox one since day one, FYI.

After owning both Ghosts and Advanced Warfare and hating them, I've really enjoyed the beta for Black Ops 3. It's not going to break me of my resolve to not pre-order games, but it's firmly planted on my radar now.

Have you played Titanfall? If so, how did it feel compared to that? (At least the Pilot movement). I just did not have time to try it out.

BLOPS3 feels much heavier than Titanfall. Parkour in BLOPS3 feels more gimmicky than a necessity. Gameplay wise both games are very different and are hard to compare. Each have their own strengths and weaknesses. I kind of hate Titanfall for making other FPS games feel slow. I have a hard time getting into any other shooters now. Evolved for example I couldn't get into because of how clunky the parkour felt. Really hope new Mirror's Edge uses a modified version of Titanfall's parkour.

Black Ops 3's wallrunning is the only thing that would earn a comparison to Titanfall, but they feel pretty different. Heavier, for sure. Titanfall just feels more fluid because it was built with that free movement in mind, while Treyarch seems to be set on keeping the grounded feel from Black Ops 2 while still progressing the gameplay.

The wallrunning doesn't feel quite tacked-on but it also doesn't feel necessary. It's a fine mechanic that helps keep the maps from feeling too cramped and provides new routes to flank opponents or avoid getting trapped, but it's not something that alters the core gameplay dramatically. It's also something you could play an entire match without using or seeing other people use based on how the included maps are set up.

Pulled the trigger on Ziggurat and Stick it to the Man.  Not sure when I will get to Ziggurat and the the semi-completionist in me sort of wishes I just left it alone.

 
I've been playing the hell out of Smite. Hard to believe a free game is that fun.

Also jumped into the Black Ops III beta. I wasn't planning on buying it, but I'm gonna have to.

I just went over to there and read what went on... And honestly you got it kinda easy lol. The steam machines are really horribly overpriced, and underpowered.

Those guys have a really dry sense of humor and they give each other shit in a playful way all the time, if you aren't used to it it's very off putting. Poor MysterD is their whipping boy over there and just keeps coming back

I generally stay away from there because it's hard to distinguish when they are joking or being genuinely insulting, but I did just gets email for Mad Max for $22 on PC so I may have to grab that if my rig can still run it
