:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

That blue Vita is sexy. I'd be all over that if I hadn't imported the white and lime green one from Japan.

Maybe this means Sony is realizing there are Vita lovers out there. Or maybe they see the Vita as one of those short lived but beloved systems that they release these variants for the collector crowd.

Still no PLAY 2015 10% off coupon
They tell you it'll be delivered today, so it absolutely makes sense to start complaining first thing in the morning while they're still drinking their coffee and act like they've put off sending it for weeks.

Or did you just confuse 10am in the morning with 10pm tonight?

Finally went ahead and took care of my purchases for last weeks sale.  Grabbed Aqua Kitty and Super Frog... also threw in the Pre-Order of Yakuza 5.  $34 for that game will be more than worth it.  Maybe I'll even do the unthinkable and play it at launch (which I rarely ever do with console games anymore).

Anyway, I resisted Tron Bonne, Pier Solar, and a few other games I had my eye on and just focused on stuff I thought I'd play soon.  After finishing Rock Boshers, I wanted to play Aqua Kitty.  Super Frog seems like something that'll be a good lunch time game.  I deleted Spelunky since I just didn't find it fun at all... so I have a little space on my pstv's memory card.

Don't be rude. It's the launch day for two AAA games. Of course the good thing to do on their part would be to promptly send out the codes. They could easily set it up to send codes early in the day, but they never seem to have their act together. So yes, it should come sometime today, but the better thing which they have no reason to avoid is to send them out promptly on the delivery date.

Yep, all the PS+ free games are on the webstore.  I locked in licenses on everything... gonna go start downloading LaMulana on my PSTV in a moment.

The Pink/White Vita is still the sexiest Vita to me....if I ever update my Vita that will be my version.
That's the second sexiest one to me. I have my #1, which is the lime green/white Vita. I've actually been contemplating grabbing the pink/white Vita.
I'm sure what they have in the press release is a prototype mockup but if it isn't...look at the screen bezel and the analog nubs. Y U No match colors Sony? You did it with the JP ones.

I certainly thought about the pink/white just so I can whip that out and people can laugh at me. But that Lime Green is bold, loud, and crazy. Just like me. Well...the bold part folks that know me will debate. It also reminds me of SURRRRRRRGE!

But yeah...I'm likely to pass the new US blue Vita up; Japan has more fun colors and I'm running out of credit anyway.

Im excited to finally get to play Twisted Metal on PS3. Loved the series on PS1 and PS2. Seems like it has pretty good reviews especially for multiplayer.

Really want to pick up The Old Blood, but with the physical disc version only a few dollars more I may wait for disc version to go on sale.

That aqua blue Vita is sexy but I wish they'd make a US version of Sapphire Blue, I want that one so bad but I just can't justify dropping an additional ~$130 to import the Sapphire. I'm already planning on getting a Vita soon for P4:DAN, Oreshika and a few other exclusives but I'm not really sure whether to get the slim or not. I've heard the OLED screen from the initial release is way better than the LCD (aside from sun glare so it wouldn't be ideal for commuting and such.) Seeing as I'm ridiculously frugal and like the better battery, I'll probably just grab the slim but I was wondering what people's experiences were with the OLED vs LCD. (I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, unfortunately I haven't seen too much discussion on it outside of the Vita subreddit, so I apologize if this is a redundant question.)

Rude? They said they'd deliver it today, and you started complaining it "still" wasn't here first thing in the morning. If you don't see the problem with acting like 10am on the proper morning is so late that they 'don't have their act together', I don't know what to tell you. It's an absurd level of impatience. Complain tonight if you still don't have it, but first thing in the morning? C'mon.

Some of those Atlus prices might be/have been tempting with additional Plus discounts. P4G in particular.

Interesting. It also looks like all/some proceeds go to charity and then you're also entered into a sweepstakes with the amount bought buying more tickets:

"EXCLUSIVE to PlayStation Heroes: Purchase Foul Play, register and help raise money for charity for your chance to win the ultimate PlayStation Experience. The higher the purchase, the more chances you have to win.

About the game: Play as the daemon-hunter Baron Dashforth in a side-scrolling co-op brawler set entirely on the grand spectacle of a theatre stage that rewards performance over pummeling."

Can't believe both Armillo and Viking Zombies are Reg. Priced at $20.

Neither look to be $20 material and i would've grabbed Viking Zombies with the 30% if it was $15 at most before the 30%.

I'll wait for the eventual PS+ freebie or further sale.

And if Grow home is $8.... i wish it never won the vote. wouldve been a little over $5 with the 30%, totally worth it.

They should put up the initial prices of all games available to vote for in the future, so i can vote for the most expensive one.

What do those 'samurai warriors chronicles news' addons do? they never seem to have any details in the descriptions. (and I don't own the game but I keep tihnking about it so I am curious...)

The prices were readily available when the voting was live.

This is actually the first time i hear about this game.

Gonna check out some vids and see it.

But are those really the buying options?? buying by tiers just like Humble bundles?? this is kinda weird.
You pick the price you want, most of the money goes to charity, and it gains you entries into some drawing. Nothing weird about it.

...

They should put up the initial prices of all games available to vote for in the future, so i can vote for the most expensive one.
Which would negate the point of the exercise; everyone knows that the game is only fun if it is within your budget. Having said that, they might as well make the cheapest game free and do away with the whole voting charade. Saves time and effort for all.

Reviews of the 360 version were pretty mixed. Anyone here actually play it?

Yea, i knew about Grow home's Price from Steam and this thread as well.

Never saw The prices for the other two.

Guess i should be more proactive, though one vote wouldnt really matter anyway.

A well, im fine with grow home either way and ill wait for a sale on the others...maybe black friday/christmas.

I played the demo on 360 and didn't like it. I actually had more fun with another "takes place on a stage" game called Black Knight Sword.

Finally a week that fails to threaten my credit card.
Meanwhile, Sony threatens mine. Looks like I'm buying Yorbie, Hexyz Force, and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

Surprised the weekly sale isn't as lengthy as they usually are. Could we expect to see a Labor Day themed flash sale over the weekend to make up for it?
