I'm glad tgs is in a week so I can finally see the new hot shots golf game in action.  also, there's supposedly a couple surprises coming from sega including a game called 'lexus' which I can only assume is a binary domain or vanquish sequel.

Lexus is being developed by the Yakuza series team, so it probably won't have anything to do with Vanquish.

 
I hate offboarding employees almost as much as onboarding.  If it werent for the hiring process, offboarding would win in a landslide.  We make this shit way too complicated.

Oh my god, one of my peers just asked me what LGBT stood for.  Jesus.  Your a 40 year old woman and you dont know what that means?  And we have a big LGBT association at the bank that sends emails a few times a year...how can you be so oblivious.

Also, this woman thinks she is so smart and always touts how great she is at everything.  Meanwhile she is oblivious to things like this all the time.  Christ.

Hi Thermopyle2 Sadly not.

We added quite a bit of extra stuff to PS4 much of which couldn’t be done on Vita from a technical standpoint, so it wasn’t really plausible or fair to throw both sets of players in together. However, what this does mean is that both versions play to their own console’s strengths and a Vita patch is in sub that will bring it as close to the PS4 version as we can. Hope that answers your question.

At least there's a patch coming, sounds like, which should help with some of Tyler's complaints hopefully.

You know what, fuck that, she is dumb. You cannot be intelligent if you have no clue what is going on around you. It isnt like LGBT is some niche video game thing relegated to the dark corner of the internet.

I'm at the eye doctor this morning, and this old lady is complaining to her (former) vision plan insurance company that it's their fault she forgot to renew her plan. She's got her husband on speaker on her cell phone, and he sounds like a real winner. She's telling the insurance company that she never got the email to renew the plan. I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that the husband dropped the ball on this one just based on his responses.

She's the classic definition of a bitty.
 
I went to one lgbt meeting in college to meet bi chics. It was not a good idea and i never went again ;) but i fully support all lgbt people. NA, AA, and SA are way better groups to find hook ups :)

I'm using PSNP to see if it's been fixed--once that trophy stops having a 0.00% acquisition, I'll assume the patch is up.

SCEA apparently really sucks when it comes to patches. SCEE released a patch from Zoink the day it went out for Zombie Kings. That was on the 6th and at least as of last night, still not available on the US store.

Maybe that is partly due to them being indie devs, who knows. It is definitely annoying though.

 
Oh shit, didn't realize football was really back tonight. Thought all the games started sunday. Miiight have to order a pizza and drink a ton to celebrate.

I finally managed to break the top 25 US and top 150 world on PSNP as of yesterday.  I still could move up a bit on the world, but while I am barely behind the one person on the US boards, the next person is over a level and a half in front of me.  That is around the equivalent of 12 full platinum lists of trophies without then scoring a point.  Even with being in the rotation of all these import games now, I dont see that gap closing for a while.

Hopefully I can maintain a top 25 US spot at least.

 
Finally got to play a little more Metal Gear, basically played the opening (launch day) and that was it. Got through Mission 1. Go me lol! It's so funny how far the series has come in terms of control but why do I need 3 buttons to call my horse? In any event...I can't wait to finally dig into this one. Had fun with the little I've played so far. 

On a side note when I booted up the game they actually had a message pertaining to the recent glitch news when playing as Quiet. Why don't more games do shit like this? Live updates like that are a good thing.

Congratulations, you're now as far as I am in terms of plot (I replayed Mission 1 to get a few more Mission Tasks done; I still have one more to get plus the S-rank to earn). Isn't it 2 buttons to call your horse (L1 + R3 after moving the right stick to Call D-Horse)?

:) Well yeah but if it's not already to the right It's L1, Right, R3...plus why R3? R3 sucks as a button press. Why not just map it to a top corner of the touchpad or something like you already did (bottom left, right) with the idroid and menu? Maybe you can't do more than 2 on the touchpad? I'm not sure. Seems like it could have been easier in any event.

It sounds more complicated than it is:

1. Hold L1: Menu pops up with various options in a circular layout (e.g. "Knock" to make a noise to attract attention, "Whistle (Call D-Horse)", etc.)

2. Move Right Stick towards "Whistle".

3. Click R3 to confirm.

It takes all of 1-2 seconds once you get the hang of it.

Mine 9 times out of 10 tells me on boot up there is some update. Press the PS button (or maybe hoop) to skip. There was an update last week which I hope would clear whatever flag is set wrong. No dice. But works fine after that.

I got the hang of it, but it just seems like more buttons than really needed. Why couldn't it just be L1 tap is whatever it's set to and long press to set it or something like that? Just one of those Metal Gear-ism control schemes. Which is odd because the rest of the controls seem to make perfect sense.
