Does anyone know if Plague of Shadows DLC is up for Shovel kngiht? I can't find it anywhere on the marketplace and forgot it was supposed to come out this week until several Plague of Shadows achievements just started popping while I was playing the Witcher 3.

It came with a digital controller upgrade so they had to discontinue it unless Microsoft puts the install on a 3 1/2 inch floppy disc in the case.
 
Anybody check out that Plague Inc Evolved game that just released? The mobile game it is based on got pretty good reviews, but that version cost like a buck. Wonder if it's been significantly expanded on for them to be charging $15 now.

well done haha. i should have tested them on the destiny bundle they had behind the counter. just got back from picking up the controller. the associate says the stores were given early authorization to sell the controllers as of yesterday.

I bought a new xbone controller with headset port and have the found the a button to be annoying to press/super clicky anyone else notice this or is mine defective?

 
Ugh, I hate having new purple gear and then having it be replaced by blue or even green stuff... I mean it's par for the course in other games/MMOs but in Destiny it just feels wrong. :lol:

the a button on my new white controller doesn't have that issue. sounds defective.

i found out why my bose headphones don't work in the headset port, though. i believe this is an issue for apple and MFi headphones, too.

Not all 3.5-mm audio jacks are made to the same standard. There are two audio jack standards:

  • Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), and
  • Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP).
If you use an OMTP headset, you’ll probably experience audio or chat issues. However, if your headset or earbuds use the OMTP standard, you can purchase an adapter to convert the device to CTIA. These adapters are available at many electronic retail stores.

Just finished Ep 3 of Life is Strange. For fans of the TellTale story games, Life is Stange really hits it out of the park. Square Enix and Dontnod have raised the bar bigtime.
 
I posted this before, but guess I'll have to again: don't assume your headset doesn't work. The 3.5mm jack seems to process audio differently than the adapter through the port. I have to plug the headset in, unplug it, then plug it back in and wait about five seconds for it to start transmitting audio.

Yeah the ending of Episode 3 was nuts. I'm midway through Episode 4 right now. Hoping the wait is not too long for the conclusion!

Anyone here play Elite: Dangerous and have any opinions on it? I enjoyed the trail and was thinking of grabbing it before it goes to full price next month, just wondering if theres a reason I shouldn't. Other than the potential of a lower sale price in a few months.

Pay to win in multiplayer is lame, but you'd rather spend cash than put time into a game I get that. I buy games to play them (or so they can inflate my backlog), not so I can pay more to skip through them.
