I take credit for that since I had to pick up a d and chose jax since I figured jameis would throw some pic sixes. I should always chose against my bucs in fantasy so I feel okay either way.

I was looking up the Fallout and Bioshock Funko pics and found some interesting ones. They have a glow in the dark Pip Boy and Glowing One.

For the F03 dlc: they are all pretty decent, but Point Lookout was probably my favorite, and you should at least give that one a whirl. The island has some pretty cool spots to explore, and you get to kill a bunch of rednecks.

Your avatar always throws me off because I used to use the exact one on CAG and other forums. I'm sure many did.

I think I started the 3rd DLC because of the level cap increase and allowing you to play post-finale. I'm going to try to play all of them before FO4 is out.
 
Wish I knew what was in the fallout lootcrate but... $100 is a bit much when I don't know what's in it

I liked all the dlc... mothership was a pleasant surprise, but probably only because I had read so many negative opinions on it that I went in with low expectations. That, point lookout, and operation anchorage stood out the most for me but it's hard for me to pick a fave.

You guys are making me want to replay it for the up-teenth time... I'm getting a little burnt out on MGS atm so I might just do that. No trophies for it yet on this account is a nice bonus.

The only 2 items they revealed were the Dogmeat plush and updated Vault hoodie.

I think the hoodies are normally around $50 by themselves and have been tempted to buy one before so I figured why not? They say the 7 licensed items are worth $150 but they buy in bulk of course.

Mothership left a bad taste in my mouth since it was the last thing I did, and my game was hella buggy by that time. Probably froze a good 10 times during that DLC.
 
Did get the Until Dawn plat last night. Thank you Redbox for the free rental.

Trying to figure out my next game but keep going back to Heroes of Loot as it is a great little time waster. I'll probably fire up Danganronpa again.

gold ds3 was on clearance at target. All manner of ds4 sales have been happening this week including the low low price of $37 for the red ds4. Black has been $40 today and there's been a smattering of $45-$55 prices for all models including the 20th anniversary in the past 10 days.

Protip: setup a deal alert at slickdeals forums for the keywords 'dualshock ds4' and with the criteria of 'when a deal has one star' and you'll be in the know before anyone else.

Red DS4 was $33.

 
On the FS1 pregame show, Pete Rose, Frank Thomas, and Eric Karros all say Utley's slide was hard, not dirty. Karros is even going so far as to blame Tejada for not being aware.

Just wait one more month! As I said, they were 40 last bf so theyll probably be that or lower for a variety of colors!
 
Finally got the chance to play the Star Wars Battlefront beta.

:sigh:

It's hard to enjoy this multiplayer game when your map doesn't show you where enemies are.   As a result, I play for about 10 seconds until I get killed by someone I don't see (usually from behind).   What's the point of the radar map at the bottom of the screen?  To see your allies? I can do that on screen without using it.   If I end up killing someone, it's by pure luck. It makes me happy ... until I get killed a few seconds later from another enemy who has no icon to show me they are an enemy.

It's the same reason I can't have fun with multiplayer in the Battlefield and Call of Duty games. At least with Star Wars, I can begin another round instantly instead of waiting 10 seconds between rounds to get killed again.

On the other hand, the single campaign was sooooooooooooooooooo much fun. I'm getting head shots on stormtroopers and blowing up AT-STs (who tend to have :gasp: red icons on the radar).  Why can't the multiplayer mode play this well?

 
lol... and if enemies showed up on radar you'd probably be pissed that everyone knows where you are.

The radar works the same for most FPSs... enemies only show up on radar when running or firing their weapon.

Yeah if everyone snipes. Otherwise, nope because the radar would actually have a purpose.

That's true. It loads faster, I can actually last a little while actually killing someone, and reach one of the pods.

Wow GTA 4 hasnt aged well.  I never finished Liberty City Stories and now I might remember why.  Just...wow.  Its amazing how bad it looks and feels now.

All the player announcers are on Utley's side I guess. Whoever is announcing the Rangers/Blue Jays game was siding with blaming Tejada for getting in harms way.

I have never liked the fact that baseball lets guys basically ignore second base in order to take out the fielder. They need to make a rule to change the way guys slide into the fielder. But since there is no such thing as of now I cant blame Utley for doing what he is trained to do. Tejada just got in the way.

Since this is baseball we are talking about they will probably go way over board like they did with the homeplate collision and outlaw sliding into second completely. lol
