Me to since it will have all 3 cuts of the film.I like the fact that Shout Factory goes out of its way to dig up some of the more obscure horror films for their Scream Factory label. I didn't take advantage of this deal, but I did go to Amazon and pick up quite a few of their releases. Normally, these more obscure titles never get a chance to get a proper home video release with decent extras. It's nice that a company like this goes out of its way to give them their due.
I'm really looking forward to the collectors edition of Army of Darkness.
I do but I'll upgrade to sf's since it's sure to have more and better special features. Hopefully they were able to add the original songs back into the movie that were cut from the blu ray before. Thanks! Dog Soldiers is a must this week and I wouldn't mind checking back on Ginger Snaps.
Btw, I'm sure you have it already but Return of the Living Dead's 30th Anniversary Edition is only 6.99 at Best Buy this week. It shares the same SKU as the regular release so you may get lucky like I did.
Shit, I hadn't heard about that. I'm still rocking the Anchor Bay DVD from back in the day. I'll hold on to it for posterities' sake. I'll add it to my five (soon to be 6)copies of Army of Darkness.I do but I'll upgrade to sf's since it's sure to have more and better special features. No I meant they cut songs from return of the living dead when they did the blu ray version. Like when you know who burns themselves in the crematorium the original played burn the flame, but they blu ray didnt have it. I guess they didnt want to license the songs for a new release. And a few other songs were missing. Not that it was a big deal, but it sounds out of place considering Id watched it dozens of time as a kid and knew it all by heart.Shit, I hadn't heard about that. Not sure what you meant. How do they work?
Not sure what you meant.
They arent the greatest. They are the floppier kind of magnet and not real stiff. They are more decorative magnets than ones meant to hold something heavy. They look nice though.
FYI amazon has army of darkness on sale for 17.99 now. It's been 29.99 since they first put it up.I like the fact that Shout Factory goes out of its way to dig up some of the more obscure horror films for their Scream Factory label.
