This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

50% off (give or take) might have gotten me to buy GTA5 over Summer Sale but I'm kind of just over wanting the game while waiting on a decent deal.  Plus with FO4 and JC3 coming out soon, who has time for old ass GTA5?

 
Agreed they've been really chintzy on GTAV sales and no Steam keys outside of Steam doesn't help either since we're effectively stuck waiting for a decent sale from only one place.

Amen.

B/c of RSSC's crap policy for limited 60-days on installer-downloads (which likely hasn't changed since last week when CAG was discussing this), unless they change that policy (to download as long as they're in business) or it gets so cheap at RSSC that I don't care (think $5 or less, which likely won't happen for a long time) - for me it's going to be Steam-version or bust here.

Sure, but FO4 and JC3 I'll actually be playing this fall/winter. Most of my backlog will remain dusty for ages to come. With two big release open world games (that I got for around $30 each anyway) coming out, why do I need a third one that's been out since early 2015 and thinks they do us a favor by offering free in-game money in lieu of an actual sale? Eventually its price will collapse and I'll get it then. The window of enthusiasm has largely closed.

Think of it as a meta part of the game. This is all deliberately designed in order to put you in the correct frame of mind to play Hatred. That's the kind of added "value" you don't get buying the game on Steam.

So I've been moving since Saturday and will be without internet until Friday, making it pretty unlikely I'll make the events this week.  I've tested my phone as a wifi hotspot and the speeds have been pretty lacking.  The events must go on though, so tonight we have Town of Salem night.  I've given away 3 keys already to people who said they would show up.  I have two left, so if you for sure will show up tonight at 10:00 PM ET for it please PM and I will give you a key for it (2 left).  Thursday is Left 4 Dead 2 night and I know a lot of you bros were interested in that one so I hope you guys have a blast.

Uh, I think you have that backwards. Town of Salem is supposed to be tonight, and L4D2 is thursday

I believe you can get it from Gamersgate alla Putin-esca, for about $7. Pretty sure its not region locked, but I didn't buy it, so if you wanna go ahead and be the guinea pig...

I feel like this genre is quickly being filled just like the zomb-o crap.

The genre needs people and GOOD games.  I'm mixed on this one.  On one hand it's getting ok reviews but nothing sensational.

Now Just Dance Disney 2... that comes out today and they haven't reviewed it anywhere.  Bunch of haters.

Yeah, Vermintide comes up as $7.24 in BC. I dunno if Putinprcing is back or what. Far Cry 3 is $2, for instance.

Also Gauntlet is ~$2 and so is LEGO Batman 3 (season pass was ~$3-4 I think), neither of which have region locks, IIRC. Putin pricing on GG has been back for at least a week or two now.

There is no code, I think. It'll be added to your Steam account.

Putin'd Vermintide because... well, I don't fully know.  But, hey, seven bucks.  The deluxe edition is $11.xx but I didn't want the in game stuff enough to pay $4 extra for it and I never use soundtracks, digital "art books", etc.
