This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Tried Vermintide. The melee is very satisfying. Apparently it's Left for Dead with Melee and Rats in Warhammer setting.

Didn't regret Putin it one bit. You guys should play it now, b/c it is at its highest player base.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the melee. It is fun. Similar to war of the roses if you've played that.

Thanks for slapping me in the face, I almost booked my ticket to putinland. You are right, the history is all there. The games are not crap but they have no support. They are the Sony of game devs. Decent product, too busy with the next thing to bother with support. F you if you dont like it.
I'll still probably buy it...

Well... since it's doing so well I can imagine that they'd hold onto it for a decent while at least. They plan on adding free/paid DLC for maps, enemies, weapons, etc. in the future as well.

There's a whole AMA thing going on if that's your style. I'm too lazy to read the whole thing so there might be some decent info in there.

From Reddit, if you feel like acting like a console person.

Maybe if you throw in some Sugar Smacks box tops you can get an additional discount. :p

I noticed The Park is cheaper in Putinland GG by a few bucks so I decided to pre-order using some leftover BC I had.  I only get the gift option for the game and no show key option.  Game was originally scheduled for release today but was pushed back to the 27th.  It's really short apparently but you get some chipmunk outfit for The Secret World if you pre-order and you get back like .50 in BC for pre-ordering.  Will keep you guys updated whenever the keys show up.

Looks like AC: Syndicate reviews from many of the outlets are quite good.

Though, don't see one PC review - hopefully, PC port turned-out technically decent.

Looks like almost all of the reviewers hate the final boss fight + ending of AC: Syndicate, as well.

Honestly, when did AC endings ever not suck?

EDIT:

Mooby! If we can't count on you to exercise better judgment, what hope is there for the rest of us???
I'll still way behind here on AC series.

I still have to play both AC: Unity + Rogue.

So, holding off on AC:S for me is going to be VERY easy.

Well they tried at least.

I guess.

We got 10 cents worth of cards to sell anyway so that's something, right?

I got burned on Alien: Isolation when the RU/CIS version didn't show up until the keys were released so I was gun shy about The Park. I'll let you be the test case.

Yeah but Sega is well known to region lock. I doubt Funcom will bother.

hmm, got a Sorey foil card from Tales of Weeaboo. Latest one sold for $3.85. Highest so far was $4.44. Lowest sell order is $3.96. Think value will go up or down soon? Sorry, not a gaben card expert.

I would just take the $3.96.

They're always likely to go down as more drop.

Foils are notoriously hard to get rid of these days. I would take what I can get. Once the few niche nutsos make their badges it's doubtful the price will go anything but down.

The good old days are gone forever and $3 for any card including a foil is damned good these days.

sorry, lowest someone is selling for is $3.96. Highest buy order is $2.80. Want more than that. Probably go like $3.90 or something.
I'll be willing to bet you're not going to get that. Take the $2.80. The "rush" from the badge nerds is likely over.

As pointed out foils are hard to get rid of. I have literally 10 in my inventory right now, granted they are almost all from crappy indie games, but the point still stands.

As more people play the game, more foils are going to drop, your card's value is dropping from the moment you get it.

They have Russian pricing there but unlike GG they got that shit locked down and it's a pain in the ass to try to Putin smuggle out of there.

Tomasety said he knew some Spanish guy who did it but I think he eventually got banned.

Maybe the universal currency can help with that though. We'll see I guess.

Lots of stuff for weekend sale. Stick of Truth ($7.49), Fallout (no glitch on 4, which I was hoping for lol), Adult Swim, and Codemasters.

No deals really scream out to me unless you dont own Stick of Truth yet. I want a couple of the Adult Swim games, but they're likely bundle fodder.

Also, an EA Origin Sale is going on.

Huh. The prices in Foxhackland ain't that bad. Very few items are actually on sale here, though.

Battlefield 3™ - US$1.94
Dragon Age™: Origins - US$1.94
Medal of Honor™ Warfighter - US$1.94
Metro 2033 (Steam key) - US$1.49

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (DRM free?) - US$1.04

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition (DRM free?) - US$1.94

Metro for $1.50 is a good price and the page says you get a Steam key. The Witchers are DRM free, but I don't know if you get keys to redeem these at GOG.

Metro's not a good price.. it's not the redux version and the old version's been free before.

I commend EA for doing a Halloween sale when their catalog doesn't have many scary games in it and when they then exclude the scariest ones (Dead Space series).  Kudos.

Wait, people buy games from Origin? I thought the only reason to use it was to redeem cheap keys and get free crap each month.

I just played Dead Space, and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the supposed jump-scares, even though some are predictable and I was already aiming at where the mutants dropped. Story is good. I have a feeling that the series becomes too convoluted, however; I watched Dead Space Aftermath on Netflix before playing the game, and the movie sucked hard. I also played that stupid puzzle game where you have to connect the circuits, and the story sucked in that too. Here's hoping Dead Space 2 isn't awful.

Very occasionally you can get cheap Sims 3 expansions there.

I'm seeing the same selection in Yanksville, only The Witcher is $9.99, Metro 2033 is $14.99, and everything else is $19.99.

I'm buying five of everything, of course, this is the best sale ever.

Unsurprising, given they didn't bother with MP for this installment and they have experience making games native to PS4/Xbone after Unity. Means they have a lot less to worry about, though campaign co-op would have been a nice touch given the two main characters.

AC: Syndicate ain't releasing for PC

yet.
I'm hoping this is because they're making sure the PC port is up to snuff. A lot of their decisions with Syndicate seem to be a "We're sorry about Unity". Must have had a lot of bad word of mouth.

BF3 and Metro 2033 were free, Origins was bundled and who wants to own the Witcher series on Origin?

Warfighter's the only decent deal. Anything else?

dead space 2 had a great location and better enemies. Best game of the series. DS3 had a cool weapon system. Whole series is worth playing
