This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

We played TF2 today with no Spoder because Spoder doesn't like games where he can't cheat.

We played on one of the Halloween servers so there were jack o lanterns and skeletons and horseless headless horsemen running about.  Pretty fun just doing the same level switching back and forth.  I found hats.  The last round was epic.  The other team was like feet from winning with over 5 minutes left and somehow we fended them off for the win.  Syntax even made the leaderboard.  Tears of joy were released.  

Also, noticed the Steam community badge has more tasks added related to some of the new features.  Do the stuff for more XP. Only one I can't seem to make work is the mobile app authenticator.  

 
Ended up getting Shadow Warrior with the Alienware coupon, and also got Serious Sam 2 and Vampire: The Masquarade- Bloodlines, just to contribute to Activision's Call of Duty development funds.

Cool, grabbed those alienware coupons.  Talos Principle coupon expires (Valid until 1/1/2016, 12:00:00 AM)

Perhaps it will have a better discount during the winter sale.

But on a serious note, in many cases, with retro games on Steam and everyone's favourite DRM free store, GOG, the proceeds are going to the company who killed off the original developers of the game.

Syntax medic'ed his way on the leaderboard on the back of my heavy weapons brofisting of the other team. Teamwork FTW!

If you're thinking of getting any games on the Halloween sale be sure to compare Steam to GMG. I finally decided to bite on DreadOut after skipping it I think over the summer sale. Anywho, same listed price as Steam but their good ole voucher dropped to less than $3. That'll be my Halloween jam besides the KF2 event

As great as Bloodlines is - unfortunately, Kotick will see all the money and Troika Games likely ain't coming back. :(

Troika just wound up another company Activision killed off. :(

Really, it was mainly noteworthy since, the match prior, I commented on how it was more difficult for a medic to top the board since you're playing support. Then, after the next round in which we had our surprise victory, there I was. Was a fun night -- I wasn't in love with the Halloween stuff but a lot of that was having not played in the past year and relearning the game wasn't any easier when you're getting swarmed by skeletons or beheaded by a horseman.

Another reason I haven't joined. Every time I think of playing I don't know how to connect to his server and I'm too lazy to ask someone.

 
Brut gave all the needed info in this post.  I'm posting it publicly so all can enjoy who might be so inclined.

We have a Brawny Gents tribe which is pretty much Malk, myself and Fox (sometimes).  Anyone new is welcome to take shelter with us and get some supplies.  You do have to be part of the tribe before entering or else the tribe's dinos will eat you.  No "tribe rules" really aside from an unspoken agreement not to use dinosaurs you didn't tame yourself without permission.

It does suck.  I figured that entering the "kodexsucks" into the search would be unique enough to get me there.  Doesn't help if you don't know the password though.

 
Just to make things a bit easier, I just created a quick group to act as an info dump. Anyone is welcome to join (especially Spino lovers). I'll be updating it throughout the day with connection info, server settings, mods we're running, etc.

Its a pretty commonly known song. I think most of the people I knew in HS knew this track and that was in the south

Thank you Steam....you satiated my RPGMaker craving by putting a bunch of likely terrible RPGMaker games at 90% off. Oh well between that and those titty mahjong games i'm set for bad games likely for a while.

I had a headset back then. A cheapy one, but a headset. Then the cable on that one broke and I had to resort to crappy dollar store headphones. I've been trying to get a new set from Gamestop using my coupon but nobody wants to sell their e-gift cards to me. :p
