Whoa, Target has some surprisingly great TIVs. $23 for Saints Row IV on PS4 and I get to keep the Gat Out of Hell code (paid $10 for my copy from Gamefly)? Yes, please.

How did they make this easy? I can just tell GameStop I want a BestBuy GC? I really don't have time to follow trade in swaps and race before the TIV's change.

Also when I say I have GameStop credit I mean I have about $40 and about 70,000 points accrued from doing e-rewards surveys and the like.

So the mystery reward certificate has 3 barcodes. Seems like the two on top don't actually pull the reward value, they just add a description line to the transaction. Each barcode is labeled (1, 2, 3) with the value being from the lower right barcode (#3). Something to be aware of if you get stuck with a dumb cashier. Mine scanned them in order and had no problem ringing up my PSN card.

Also my Target still had 2 copies of Lego Marvel and 1 Lumines. Picked up Marvel. Kinda regret not grabbing the other copy since I'm sure it could resell higher than the $5.98.

 
Opened one of the two of these we had tonight.  There are not many beers we own that we would not trade for more of this.  Sooooo damn good.  Spoilered for HUGE.

eh I just stumbled on it in the Indivisible Neogaf thread. I don't think I could ever look myself in the mirror again if I asked a developer why they removed frames of cartoon girls in panties from their game.

 
Found both seasons of blu-ray Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles in a 9.99 TV bin at Best Buy, they were apparently mislabeled as they rung up at $30 each but he went ahead and overrode it. Also found 1 new copy of Lego Batman 3 on vita for $8 ($6.39 after GCU) so I went ahead and picked that up too. So I'm glad I made a special trip to use the $5 mystery certificate.

Unless a pilot episode is just unbearably shitty, I generally watch at least 2 episodes before giving up on a show. They are in the middle of deciding what a show is while making the first episode, then months later when they come back to start shooting the series proper they generally have a clearer vision for how to proceed. I almost didn't keep on watching Spartacus because the pilot is pretty meh, but things were much improved in the second episode and by the fourth or so it was really good.

Gamestop sells eBay GCs now and you can hopefully still buy one with your credit, specifying how much you want on the GC, then spend it on Best Buy e-GCs sold on eBay through Paypal Digital Gifts, which only come in $25/$50/$100 denominations.

No links, unfortunately--they're in-store-only, usually located with their other non-Gamestop gift cards. I've seen them in every store I've visited over the past couple of months, and there wasn't any formal announcement of them being added. They just...were there suddenly.

 
I was going to buy my nieces some ebay gift cards, but apparently you still need a Paypal account with a debit or credit card attached to use them. That makes them pretty useless to give as gifts to people who don't already use ebay regularly.

Just a quick heads up for any other infinity buyers in here... if you have the figures in stock near you and can do a store pickup, ordering two at a time lowers the price of each statue to $2.79. You can really clean house by putting in multiple orders of two... unfortunately for me, several that he needed weren't in stock at nearby stores so I added them all together and got them shipped.

 
Super fun 32 hour work weekend begins! Only 2 more weeks though when I get back to only 40 hour or less work weeks for the season. It's going to feel refreshing.

Of course the main one I would have wanted is the one that is not in stock online or in any store within 250 miles. That will probably keep me on the sidelines even though it is a great deal.

Venom, Rocket, and Groot would be cool, but we don't have either of those playsets.

Well, shit.  I may have reached a point of Darksiders 2 that I can't get past.  Not because it's hard, mind you, but because the combination of so many enemies on the screen and my character doing so much damage keeps crashing the game.  Four fatal crashes in a row.  What a great port.

I took off some armor and backtracked some. Lost all my health potions because the game bugged out and wouldn't stop respawning enemies, but I got through it. Power of CAG.

Great game, but they need to patch this shit. I've had it crash at least 15 times.

 
I cant find a cop to chase me to save my fucking life.  We dont want cops in these games, but if your gonna put them in there make them appear once in a god damn while.  fuck

Oh and Monster paid way too much money to advertise I assume.  They drink Monster and have Monster hats on two of the "famous" drivers.

So the Target b2g1 should work fine with pricematching, right? Since the 3rd game should be automatically free I'd imagine it would unless they made a specific override to look for a promo they run once a year.

I've used the Target b2g1 at BB before with no issues. It should work fine with GCU since it's not really a price-match the way they ring it up; you ring up 3 games then you show the cashier the promo and they manually set the price of one game to 0. I'm sure it varies per cashier but I've done it a couple of times with no problems. With GCU prices it should work the same way unless GCU pricing is completely locked out by every kind of pricing override (which I don't believe it is based on other odd transactions I've had to make for coupon issues.)

Counterspy was fun. Gets a little frustrating in some of the later levels when they have 5 dudes in a room and tell you not to be seen, but otherwise, fun.

Just went back to the UK to shoot a scene for the second season of Galavant (ABC) which will be premiering on Jan. 3 in the states. My episode is scheduled to air on Jan. 31. Such a fun show - I had a really great time. Maybe I'll just keep this look from now on!
