Ok, those votes were easy. And tyler is wrong about the 2nd one.
They were both pretty craptastic, but again I'm judging it on my scale where Unfinished Swan and Guacamelee were both pretty fucking ancient by the time we finally got them.

For those that did the 10 days of Xmas (or whateverfuck it was called) thing with Cards Against Humanity last year, they're doing it again this year.

https://www.eightsensiblegifts.com/

This time it's Eight Sensible Gifts for Hanukkah. $15 gets you eight mystery gifts throughout December. Limited to the first 150,000. I signed up because I was totes jelly of Cleaner's square foot of land in Maine.
Neat idea. Signed up.

I'm going to see if I can convince the wife that we should pick up that $380 Samsung 48" set at Best Buy. Hopefully it doesn't sell out online in an instant. Do we know when the online deals will go live on Thanksgiving?

Oh noes, I agree with Tyler on all three!!

Also let me take this opportunity to say what I seem to say every few months.  CoJ Gunslinger is one of the most fun shooters on PS3.  One of the most fun PS Plus games we have been given.  If you havent played it yet do it now!

I played it on 360 when it came out, and I agree with Mr. Browning.

This might be of interest to any fans of the Hyperdimension games. It's in Japanese, but does a good job of showing off the gameplay:

LOL! Some guy traveled there for CAH and made a blog post of the land. It was actually pretty cool. That mother fucker better not had trespassed on my land!

I'm on break and was going to thank you for posting. I just had to run back to my desk to grab my wallet. I was literally about to click submit when I see a notification about an email titled Hanukkah from my friend Chris. I paused and checked the email and it said he just bought one for each of us because I did that last year. Best timing ever! I closed the checkout window real quick. Thanks for almost making me waste $15, jerk! Just kidding! I love CAH. :)

Pretty sure that's a photoshop. Hilarious one.
Yeah I know. But I was also trying to figure out why that guy and a really really old game would be put together in a photoshop job. Is there any context? Otherwise it isnt funny. So I tried to make it into a real thing...nevermind!

I think mike tyson's punch out might be my favorite game of all time.
A game I was always obsessed with when I was younger, but that never really took off with the general populous was Startropics which is a little like a top down, legend of zelda game set in modern times. Funnily enough, also developed by the same person who did the punch-out series.

Funny story. I borrowed this game from a friend and then forgot it outside on the sidewalk in my neighborhood. Went back an hour later and it was already gone. I had to buy a new one (my mom bought it since I was about 9) . I was grounded for a while and didnt get an allowance for a month.

I never even played it and hated it for a long time. When I got a Wii I bought it and played it for about 10 minutes. Then I sold the Wii a month later for more than I paid cause fuck keeping a gimmick system thats worth more than what I paid.

While I definitely miss the whole deteriorating weapons (I know most don't), the gun combat and customization is really satisfying so far.  Top (and anyone else who loves Fallout) you are in for a treat.

Oh, and you think he is different from EVERY OTHER POLITICIAN IN THE WORLD HOW?!
The difference is that he appears to be delusional. He believes what he says. He has said that he believes the Egyptian pyramids were actually built by Joseph to store grain. You can't make this stuff up.

There are people who claim he is embellishing that he was a bit of a thug when growing up in Detroit. I find it pretty funny that people want to blast a person for lying about how he wasn't really a loser. I am not a fan of the I stopped when I found Jesus angle and maybe that is the reason why so many people want to question his claims.

I am not really sure why they picked this angle to make a meme about the situation. Then again, most people on the internet that make memes certainly are not brain surgeons.

I loved that fucking game. I rented it when I went to visit my grandma and spent the whole weekend in the backroom playing it. Not sure why Nintendo ignored the game game since (besides the sequel no one remembers).

That Aliens guy seems like his ideal running mate.

[Carson]: "I once stabbed a close relative of mine as a teenager because he upset me, but his belt buckle got in the way and broke the knife so he's still alive today"

[Carson's childhood friends]: "I don't remember any of this. He was always a nice young man."

[Carson]: "All these claims are false. I did really try to kill someone. Obama never was subjected to this!"

A presidential candidate denying rumors he was nice and didn't try to kill someone is fucking gold Jerry.

Oh man, StarTropics was my JAM!

Its sequel, Zoda's Revenge, too:

Cool and thanks, I'll probably go pick one up this afternoon so I don't have to worry about it on Saturday.

$200 gift card is if you're buying and financing the phone. Free phone is if you sign a 2 year contract with Sprint or Verizon.
Yeah, the ad and all it's fine print didn't quite make clear what requirements were needed for the $200 gift card. My current contract (or phone lease) with Sprint is about up, so I think I'll just take the free phone.

The $24 month they charge for "easy pay" on the phone cancels out the value of the $200 gift card.

Tried to get mine today and got locked out because I didn't realize the account was set up using my wife's SSN and not mine.

I dont get it. Did Carson really say he beat Battletoads? On the first attempt?

fuck that guy. I cant vote for a liar.
He's gotten caught lying about things in his biography such as that he was accepted to West Point, but chose not to go, and possibly about him being an angry, violent child who overcame his anger. So I would assume they are making fun of him by having him state obviously untrue bits of braggadocio in photoshopped images.

What hurt its legacy probably is that it was produced exclusively for release in NA and Europe, so since hardly anyone in the homeland ever played it, there isn't any pent up demand for a resurgence for those folks who were kids when it were released and are now game developers at Nintendo in Japan.

I have tomorrow off, and then Friday off for Saturday that I work 4 hours!  However, I have some homework to work on those two days.... doesn't mean I can't finish Need for Speed and pickup Fallout though :)

I think I'll pick up Ar Norsuage Plus (sp?) for  $20. Don't remember seeing it on sale before.  I still have one of those Atelier games to play through as well.

Also grabbed that Pocket God vs Desert Ashes game for a $1.
