Everyone who makes CEs (especially Nintendo) should take note of this Lionheart Edition outer box.  It is literally a thing of beauty that will take a heck of an effort to actually damage.  Bravo Xseed!

Xseed themselves have historically used cereal box quality cardboard on their CEs. I'm pretty sure all of their PSP CEs were flimsy boxes. I think the Ys Celceta CE was fairly well made.

 
NISA uses really nice chipboard boxes for their anime, I would love if they did for their game sets especially since they seem really pricey compared to freebies xseed and atlus give out. 

 
Got an email from Best Buy that said the release date for the Uncharted 4 SE changed to 4/26/16.

Looked back several posts and didn't see this mentioned.  If it's old news, sorry about that.

IIRC the Celceta CE box had the thinnest cardboard of all of XSeed's recent CEs other than maybe Killer Is Dead and Senran Kagura 2. Ragnarok Odyssey, Corpse Party, Onechanbara Z, Shinovi VS, and The Last Story all used thicker cardboard than Celceta did from what I can tell.

I remember some of their PSP CEs had flimsy boxes, but I remember Trails in the Sky FC and Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles had really nice CE boxes that were thicker than most.

Wow this ToCS box is a tank. Best buy just put it in a box with the return label and called it a day and there is a super minor ding.

Celceta's box wasn't that thick. It just has much more uniform items inside. Unlike Agarest War, whose boobie mousepad was larger in dimension than the box.

Celceta's box was fubar. It's almost as thick as three sheets of generic printer paper you use at the corporate office. Fortunately the goodies inside were more than enough to compensate for that.

Why three? Coz Xseed needs money for CS II.

Pretty good for an extra $10. Oh...what's that? No music CD? I read some stuff on the Marvelous forums and they apparently tried but couldn't due to licensing issues. You can find the complete score on iTunes or Amazon MP3 so don't sweat it. Best $20 you'll spend on video game music this year I say.

I really want the Japanese Hyrule Warriors Legends Treasure Box version but $125 + import fees is pricey.

I'm crossing my fingers that the CE for Bravely Second will come stateside but I went ahead and preordered it.

That Bravely Second CE will most likely make stateside as SE likes money and be exclusive to there atore like usual, unless Nintendo is publishing it. That Hyrule Legends CE looks like more o a Nintendo World exclusive then available to all retailers. Have high hopes for that Bravely Second though.

It is being published by Nintendo just like the 1st one.

 
The first Bravely game had a CE, so I still wouldn't be surprised about the second one having one. I don't recall hearing anything negative about it's sales.

Also even if we get the CE I doubt it be the same they will probably eliminate items before North America gets it. Doubtful we get the figure if we get a CE usually the us versions are scaled down from the European counterparts when it comes to Nintendo us releases

Yeah, Euro's CE for the first Bravely Default was significantly better. Honestly, NA's BD CE kinda sucked. It's just valued highly because it was pretty limited, and on top of that, 75% of people had theirs blown to pieces due to retailers shipping them in bubble mailers, making it even more limited(for good condition copies). But compared to Europe's, ours was a joke.

I bet it will be the same. NoE owns NoA. Their XCX CE was better as well, also all their Operation Rainfall Wii games had really nice CEs and we got jack shit in terms of that. But we have a 1 GB USB drive to be thankful for!

gotcha. but with the first CE (the one with the statue), you'd have had to buy another region's release, also, right? I missed that one, but looking at this one, if I wanted to CE contents, i'd just end up (worst case) with a copy of the game I needed to sell, right? if it weren't region locked, i might consider the option of not opening the box, but that becomes an easier decision if i know i can't play the cart anyway. :D

i dunno. i'm just now getting to where i've got income i can devote to my collection again, and historically i haven't looked overseas, so this is sort of a new world for me.

You don't want that... It'll come damaged then you'll have to deal with almost-nonexistent foreign customer service to get a refund/replacement which they won't have cause they're OOS.

I hope we get a figurine this time.

The dynamic of the collecting psyche is funny. I mean, there are obviously plenty of games out there that are out of print that none of us own from all systems throughout time. Many of them we probably never even heard of. But all it takes is a game to be brought to one's attention to trigger a lust or desire for it.
