The only thing I've bought so far is Undertale and I beat it. So far, this is probably the first time I've actually beaten all the games I've gotten from a Steam sale.
Can't let that stand, so these are the games I'm most tempted by in order from most to least:
Hotline Miami 2
Skyshine's Bedlam
Rollers of the Realm
Roundabout
Fallout: NV
Audiosurf 2
Anybody have strong feelings on the value of any of these?
If I dont mention it, I dont have it.
I loved Hotline Miami 2. If you are familiar with the first game and enjoyed it, I'd highly suggest jumping in. Yes, it will be cheaper at some point. Yes, its most likely a bundle candidate at some point within the next calendar year. Its more of the same of the first game, but level design is not as strong as the first but there are sitll some absolutely terrific design choices and fun to be had. If you liked the music in the first, the 2nd's is even better. The level editor was just released so there's a ton of user made content starting to appear. If you've not played the first game, its not necessary to have played it to enjoy 2, but its arguably a better game and considering its easily gotten super cheap, go with that first to see if you like it. I fakey'd HM2 on release as it was one of my top 3 games I was most excited for this year. If you plan to play it now, do it.
Fallout NV - Its an all time great at this point IMO. Get the ultimate edition to avoid buying the DLC seperately as almost all of it is play-worthy. It sees the $6.79 price point somewhat often now, but its a time sucker so if you want something to take a lot of your time its a good investment. If you wait, you can get it at next sale.
Audiosurf 2 - I picked this up in a cheap trade abt two months ago or so. Its pretty cool. If you know the first game its more of the same, just prettier and some different modes + theres quite a bit of user made content for it . Super casual and not something you will likely put a lot of time in unless you get into creating tracks and that sort of thing. I havent put in a lot of time to say either way, but $6 as it currently is, is not "bad", but its another one that will possibly be bundled at some point and will definitely get lower.
