PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

it was finally actually confirmed by the studio that it is an xbox one console exclusive unfortunately (in the comments). it will be on pc and mac/linux in the future though. they hemmed and hawed in previous interviews but it seems to be locked down now.

Oh that stinks but thanks for the info. Still trying to decide if I should pick up a gaming laptop at some point...or maybe I should go with a PC for the TV. Just got rid of the 360 though, don't really want to add another system back. I have to admit though I am intrigued that Alienware is bringing an OLED laptop out sometime this year. http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/alienware-13-oled-hands-on/

Some people like to move forward and not use 10 year old technology.

But seriously your not going to get to every game ever made for every console and we already have dozens of good PS4 games to play. I played all the major releases on PS3 that I wanted to play so I was glad to get rid of it.
i have a backlog full of ds, gamecube and ps2 games. I know i will never even finish all my trophy games so i dont know why i bother

Meh. You may have all those systems but I wouldnt count more than 1 or 2 games from each as being in your backlog since you know you wont ever get to the rest.

Wow. Did any of you get those Yeti tumblers? I guess they went out of stock on Amazon and elsewhere because 3rd party resellers have them listed ~$100 now.

I have been looking for one for over a month now. I saw that on Amazon today. I will get one when they are back to normal 30-40 which is still a lot for a cup but damn do they work well.

The supposedly have them in stock at Dicks Sporting Goods near downtown Tampa. I am tempted to go but fuck that a cup isnt worth the hassle. I can wait until I find one near me.

Um I only drink beers made by nanobreweries. They're just so much better than the mass produced swill that microbreweries put out.

- All beer hipsters in about a month.

I think it's crazy that these are out of stock everywhere else. I see a million of them every time I go to a sporting oriented place around here.

I bet the Buffalo restaurant and food cart owners must be like the hot dog vendor in the Simpsons now that both Ryan brothers are working there.

Maybe you see others that look similar? There are millions of different brands. Also you may be seeing the can holders and lowballs. The tumblers are what everyone wants.

Nah, I'm seeing the Yeti ones. Last I looked there were still some of the tumblers around too. Yeah, definitely more of the can holders, but I've seen the tumblers around as well.

I still go back and play PS1/PS2 and Gamecube games. I have more games then I will ever be able to finish for all these systems and I'm ok with that. Aside from looking great on my shelves I like jumping back and replaying old favorites or dusting off new to me oldies that I never got around to as a kid in between current gen shenanigans. It doesn't upset me that I'll never get to everything I currently own and I have no problem continuing to add to it. I have about 8 games over the next month I'll be adding to the Vita/PS4 library alone. I'll leave them to my child/children when I die and they can treasure them (if I raised them right) or sell'em off (if I raised'em wrong). Either way works as I'll be dead unable to care.
Perfectly said. I love my perpetual backlog.

That makes sense. Its always the people not looking for something that find what it is everyone else is looking for.

So for all the beer lovers, this is a pretty good article. Since some brewers operate at such a small scale, people have started using the term nanobrewery instead of microbrewery for them. This lists an interesting one from each state.

Speaking of beer, you guys drink maybe one beer a day during the week to kinda unwind after work? I've started doing this recently and I wonder if I should slow it down. I've heard it's good for you and that it's bad for you but no real proof that I've found.

If you drink one beer a day it isnt going to be bad for you. Whats bad is if you start drinking more and more until your drinking Friday Night Gator levels every night.

You got weird blood pressure or cholesterol levels? Outside of that its really just extra calories you may want to consider, but if you don't have any other health concerns, I wouldn't worry too much about it if you're not drinking to excess. But much like the soda thing, you definitely will notice a difference weight wise if this is a new thing for you.

I actually don't. I would probably be better off if I did.

If I were getting shit faced on Friday nights I would be the classic definition of a binge drinker. Rarely do I ever drink during the weekdays and unless I have a driver or happen to be at Lee's so I could walk, I do not get messed up when I do drink on the weekends.

I weighed the most I've ever weighed at my doctor's appt the other day: 152. I'm pretty sure the daily beer has contributed to that alot. But the extra weight looks good on me. I've tried to gain weight using different methods all my life. Maybe I just should've drank beer.

I'm not too far into the game yet, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes turn based strategy type games. Not a lot of RPG type mechanics to manage (just equipment swap) but it's got an interesting battle system, and the story mechanics are cool so far. I've only had 1 traitor, but the idea of any of your teammates being a bad guy during the game is pretty cool. I've already got some favorites I'm hoping don't go bad on me during the game, but I know one of the guys I like gameplay wise is a traitor already. Really cool mechanic, especially since it factors into gameplay as well as story.

MGS nerds: How much would I miss if I just skipped Peace Walker?
Aw, you're not up for co-op?

Seriously, though, if you plan on playing Ground Zeroes and/or Phantom Pain and want to follow the story, Peace Walker is vital. That said, you could always watch the cutscenes on Youtube.

I'll probably still play the game I was just remembering that I still needed to play it before I get to Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. So much Metal Gear

I love it when I am around those guys. I like to say, "One of my favorite beers is made by Anheuser-Busch InBev!" just to watch their face melt. That is a true statement even though most do not think of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout as a AB-InBev beer.

It is about the beer being good. I wish AB-InBev made a lot of great beers like that. Unfortunately, I do not like most of the stuff they make. There are a handful I would rather have than quite a few of the beers I have had from particular microbreweries though.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a favorite beer of the standard macrobrewery beers? I like Coors alright.

Last time I weighed 152?  13 years old maybe?

Some of the guys at work are trying to get fit and have a challenge going.  they are listing their weekly weight on a board and going for 6 weeks to see who loses the most weight.  I am 213 and not trying to lose weight, we will just see what happens.

The most ubiquitous beer that I have bought if out with non-beer drinking friends is Blue Moon. It is not a favorite, but if everyone is out and enjoying themselves it is serviceable. It has been a looooong time since I got one though. Luckily most places here now have at least SW 420 as an option. It is not a favorite of mine either but I like it better than the standard BMC options. The local micro, Jekyll Brewing in Alpharetta, seems to be getting their taps at even more places here in the Northern Burbs. I would still go with SW IPA over any of theirs, but most all are better than the SW 420 option.

If I have beer in the house, I usually have at least one after I get home from work. My dad did the same thing. Never got drunk during the week, but had one or two after he got home.

It's fine. It'll put hair on your chest.

My dad used to drink Blue Moon all the time. He quit drinking a few months ago and I just ended up with all his leftover booze which included a six-pack of BM. I've had a couple so far. They're rather sweet--I couldn't drink more than one or two at a time.

looks like a super fun game to play.
I liked the anime style so much!
I'll buy this for my PC on the first day.

I will be drinking most of the day tomorrow while playing video games.

I may stop at ABC tonight to get a bunch of beers to try.   Shit I need to stop at Dunderbaks too!  I didnt get to go this weekend since I had the kid.

Lost Dimension has been quite a bit cheaper on PS3. I got it when GF had it for $15. Twice the price for the Vita version seems a bit much.
I got my vita copy for ~20 in one of those gohastings b2g1 sales. Worth it imo, but there's also a 80% higher chance of me actually playing a game if its on vita rather than ps3.

I think the ps3 copy is supposed to have less loading screens? They pop up fairly frequently on vita, but they're a couple seconds at most so I've never been bothered by them.

I tried Blue Moon and I can't really remember much about how it tasted. Which I guess says alot.

I guess I'll stick to my ways and have a nice creamy stout after eating a big bowl of chili with plenty of sour cream and cheese tonight.

Sure, that's an option, but Peace Walker has great gameplay and an addictive level-based mission structure, so it's worth playing.

Yeah I went ahead and cooked the hamburger meat and bacon last night so my gf could just drop everything in the crock pot this morning. I'm super excited to get home.
Gotta put the fritos as the bottom of the bowl first, then that sweet sounding chili, then the shredded cheese, then a fat dollop of Daisy.

fuck yea....

My ex father in law gave my daughter his old Iphone 5 and is paying for her own line.  She just discovered texting and emojis.  She sent me a text of about 10 heart emojis today when she got home from school.  Hate that she has a phone at 7 years old but love those texts.

We gave my son an old iPhone without service and shotty battery life just to play games on. But since we all have iPhones also he could text us with iMessage. He loved sending a shitton of emojis and then discovered the GIF keyboard and went nuts.

But then he dropped it in the toilet and no good, even after like a week in a rice bag.

He threw that damn thing in the toilet once he realized it was an Apple device. Smart kid!
