This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

So I did that Microids game/thing and got a lot of random shit. Its very easy, altho the website is a little slow.

Just join this

http://www.microids.com/EN/microids-club

Then click "Play" and you draw cards and get shit.

If you connect your Steam account you'll get a fuckload of points as long as you own a few Microids games already. I got 8K doing that. I couldnt find exactly where to do it on the Microids site and I got pissed cause it was slow, but I found it on Google.

 
So I finished all my Microid card draws.

Out of around 85 of them I won:

10 games, 4 of which I don't own. Doubles of  a few.

A couple of wallpapers/artworks.

1 soundtrack.

And I've got virtually every card in each set except for 1 card in each. I've got 9 of one card and a bunch of other dupes.

Not sure if serious but it's not an app, it just sends a message to your phone whether you like it or not. It might be a state by state thing though.

Also Spoder doesn't get Amber Alerts, he gets Booby Alerts.

Oh and on that Microids site, it actually wasn't slow yesterday, but then every god damned Steam group under the sun rang the dinner bell for free shit so every freeloader on the planet has been hitting them up.

You can blame madjoki for that. He posted it on steamgifts after I posted it on CAG. I think it was virtually unknown before that. The only reason I knew about it is because I'm subscribed to their newsletter.

You should have the option to turn it off... At least I do on my phone. (Though I leave mine on.. I got bad enough luck without tempting that sort of bad karma.)

Bundlestars; has a new all time low on Test Drive Unlimited ($3.99), they also have a 3 pack for $9.99. I'm rather interested in this... Is anyone else? (Also is there a Canadian in the house!) (Looks like it will be around 7.58 for the 3 pack according to spoder.)

Oh and you can turn off the amber alerts and weather alerts. I have the amber alerts turned off, but left the weather alerts on because those could affect my own safety.

Once on our anniversary we were just casually walking by the riverfront in Savannah and the weather alert told us it was going to flood and to get the hell out of there and we did and it did rain and flood. Imagine how different your life would be without me.

I understand the necessity for weather alerts. I live in the NYC area and have mine on, I just wanted to take a shot at how batshit insane people in Atlanta are about weather :D

I thought this whole update was bullshit but apparently you speak the truth... Not sure how, or why, I would ever question what I read in this thread... None what so ever. :lol:

Also, this shit already reminds me of Aerial America... (For those who don't know...) Aerial America is a show on the Smithsonian channel that does aerial tours of all the states... And they decided they would just do Missouri last. (Meaning, I don't expect to ever be able to drive through my home state even though one of the most important highways in America goes right through the middle of it.)

(Edit: Actually, it looks like their numbers are off because they did some two part shows... Illinois is actually after Missouri... but the point remains I suspect Missouri is getting hosed.)

You do realize you can pay via Paypal. If you get duds then you get a full refund. Also TD is not completely out of business it's owned by a new company now that is liquidating everything (so technically there is a company behind it)

For reals? I knew they were closing most of their warehouse stores, which sort of sucks because, while pricier than NewEgg, I could at least get a cable on an hour's notice if I needed it. Didn't know the mail order end was getting ready to fold as well.

I mean, it's not surprising... I just hadn't heard.

Yeah, but I'd rather not have to deal with the hassle. Plus, if I get computer speakers I would want them with blue leds.

That's when we do most of our events lol. You could make your own for Wednesday, or Saturday if you're working then too (Fox usually isn't around on Saturdays though).
