As riveting as the 10 second price updates on Amazon are, I'm heading to bed.

I expect to see 5 more pages of price updates when I wake up in the morning.

The price will go back up soon after hits the front page of CAG or slickdeals (probably won't take too long). Amazon's pricing algorithm will make the price decrease until enough people start buying the game. This can go on for days, if not weeks, but since this is Fallout it probably won't take long for people to notice and buy the game.

Oh, and if you want to buy it you should buy it the minute the price starts going back up.

EDIT: Wow, didn't notice it's on the front page of CAG already, it'll go back up soon then lol

It's been up on reddit for at least 12 hours.  Still, interesting info that they have some kind of algorithm that continually drops the price.

Yeah, I'm used to it because I buy Vita games. Hardly anyone buys Vita games so Amazon has been dropping the price on them the same way regularly. I've bought 2 of them so far and it took about a week for each game to bottom out. It's a very annoying process, much worse than IR. Fortunately in this case I highly doubt it'll last more than a day, because it's Fallout and people will buy it.

Still debating it but was fairly underwhelmed with what I've seen in videos.  I'm sure it'll be 50% off regularly by the Summer sales.

That doesn't count. There's mostly dirty foreigners there. They won't buy anything physical from Amazon US since they can't have it shipped to McDonalds in Oregon.

Okay a momentary break from the 3 cent difference Amazon real time price updates. I'm only up at this hour because the dog had to pee.

They're getting all MysterD howmuchisitnow?howmuchisitnow?howmuchisitnow? about the price too.

[Reddit on FO4 price-dropping]

Toaster.Net is spreading & assembling! :)

But, this deal is still NOT $30 or less...

What a deal! Call me when it hits $5. Maybe in 2020? I can play the waiting game on that 3 cents per hour drop since I still have yet to touch Fallout3 or Skyrim since buying them all those years ago...

Hope you went Complete Edition on all of those. It's usually worth having every DLC for Bethesda's RPG's, even if you have to catch-up and get them later when they're cheaper.

FO3 + Skyrim are both great games from BethSoft - you really should go play those.

And while you're at it - at least get some mods to fix the UI, too.

On a side note - FO:NV from Obsidian is fantastic. Obsidian did a hell of a job of merging old-school FO stuff that FO3 was missing (the FO1+2 humor; great narrative; great characters; great storytelling; a lot more of choices/options/decisions/RPG stuff) with the modern FO3 style of gameplay/combat. Plus, melee weapons a bit more useful in VATS in NV, too. Also, OWB DLC is great.

WTF are they getting upset about? I bought all of them for Vita and played them all. I'm satisfied with the fact that I got to play them all long before they'll get released on steam. I actually think it's cool that they're coming to steam so that the dev profits and more people enjoy the franchise, plus it might encourage the dev to make more Danganronpa games in the future.

Don't know anything about this game, but probably should look into it.

"Yay!" for more games to eventually at least throw a +1 on Steam.

They lost exclusivity and have one less argument for the playground.
Those morans care more about their Vitas and exclusivity than the games. With semi-niche games like this, it benefits the devs a lot more to have the games on more platforms so that a wider audience can buy/play them. More consumers = More money = More Danganronpas for the future. It's bad enough that Chunsoft originally postponed Zero Escape 3 because lack of funds/interest in Japan, it'd be a shame for that to happen again.

Bleh @ exclusive stuff.

I want my PC ports or Red Dead Redemption, Bayonetta series, the missing Gears of War games, and missing Halo games.

EDIT:

Also add Fable 2 to the list.

y u not by whn $28 @ gmg?
B/c I went too much of a CAG, when I shouldn't have.

FO4 on GMG; IndieGala XMas 2015 Deal; and TSW $5.25 = my mistakes of being too CAG when I shouldn't have.

EDIT:

lol D I knew you'd find a way to work that in.

Speaking of skipping deals, how's that Dragons Dogma working out for you, Motoki? I almost bought last night (still $21 from Shady-rocket) but didn't pull the trigger. Posted about it in a screenshot comment and you were supposed to talk me into it. You sort of failed me, Motoki...

Well I've been playing it, which is rare for me, so that in and of itself is saying something.

I really like it, but I liked it on the PS3 too. It's a good game of you just want to wander around and explore. There's some graphical mods you can play with too like SweetFX, ENB etc. that make it look even nicer. I also like that the night is DARK. I know there's mods that you can do that with in Elder Scrolls but most vanilla games wimp out on that and make night a blue tinted daytime that makes torches and lanterns useless.

Combat is more fun and interesting than just mashing without being overly complicated and fighting game combo twitchy like I found Witcher 2.

Story is not riveting but serviceable and that's how it's supposed to be.

Basically if you like sandbox games, exploring, combat with a little strategy involved go for it. If you want great plot, choice and consequence and structured quests to keep you on track play something from Bioware.

Madden would be nice but what I really want is a revived NCAA series and a PC port.
I miss the NCAA series as well. No one really cares about the players anyways so I can't really understand the reasoning behind no one will buy a game with fake players. EA wouldn't even have to use the collegiate license, just let modders put in all the real school names and stadiums and they'd be set.

That sounds good to me. :)

I'll echo this. I never played it on console, so I'm coming in to the game fresh but am having a lot of fun with it. The combat is great. I am also happy that, aside from the audio being whisper quiet, I haven't had any other issues with the port. It runs really well, and I can keep a solid 60FPS at all times which is a definite plus and sounds like it fixes one of the major complaints people had with the console versions of the game.

In a lot of ways, to me the game is what Skyrim would have been like with deeper combat and a non-crappy third person camera.

if u only want to play ONE console exclusive, I can understand that buying a console (abeit a used, last gen one) seem a bit much.. but holy cow, that's more than one exclusive dude. Just grab an used X360 and end this madness
