This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I miss when Tony worked for Amazon & had great PC-game deals/sales.
And then you would get pretty good credits for other stuff on top of those deals too! Like I want to say it was 2013 or 2014 where they still had big digital sales and I bought a bunch of stuff around Thanksgiving or Christmas. Then in January or Febrarury they did another big sale and I was able to stack those credits with the sale price and got more stuff for free or next to nothing. Good times.

Yup, the Editor's Choice deals. Those were really good, to say the very least. :)

Okay somebody post some keys and make everyone quote their long ass post to thank them.

Let's hear all your hauls again!

Hey MysterD, do you think if Red Dead Redemption gets a PC port it will have DRM and go on sale once, just once, for $5 like The Secret World that one time on GMG?

Thanks for Fallouts, Motoki!

I'm trying to think of something clever to post.
That post works!

RockStar Social Club DRM is to be expected as the very least with Rockstar.

If you buy on Steam, I'd guess it might also come with Steam CEG DRM.

If you're not sure, if you buy Steam version - once game's out + downloaded; close Steam out; boot RDR; see if it boots Steam up by force. If it does, has CEG. If not, only have forced RSSC.

I'd guess it'd probably be on sale almost every other week somewhere, like many other Rockstar games that always seem to go on sale.

Would be nice if RD Redemp does hit PC and gets $5 cheap.

I'd be so all over that, as you'd definitely expect.

EDIT 2:

Thanks for Fallouts, Motoki!
Oooh, which ones did you get?

Fallout 1+2?

FO: Tactics?

FO3 GOTY?

FO:NV Ultimate?

FO4?

Some of those? All of them?

I spent a few minutes today trying to figure out which deals were new for the day at the Humble Store. At the top of the page there's a countdown for each day, so I assume something new happens.

Then I realized that all of the deals looked very similar to the sales we've seen for the last month or so and decided I don't care.

I guess there will be a new build-a-bundle on Monday. Maybe that will be good.

It's really not the best site to browse and there's very little roll over. It's basically the Steam sale where mostly everything on the same sale for the entire duration with a small smattering of stuff (like Ubi) that was a short sale.

I've just gone to doing ITAD and browsing what's the most recent stuff 66% off or less (or for MysterD you can do 75%).

Would be better if the Humble Store had a List options w/ no picture to show.

Too many pictures and too much crap to scroll through.
Yeah, and it has endless scrolling which is also annoying.

There are hints all over the page that something is changing from day to day, but they've done an abysmal job of highlighting anything new. It all looks the same top to bottom infinity.

OK, so here's something vaguely deal-related.

Randal's Monday is 1,350 BC over in Putinland.  Since it's Daedalic, it'll probably end up on a bundle someday, so I'm tempted to hold off.  Those of you with less patience (Fallout 4 in non-GOTY form for more than $5.00?  Really??) may want to do some traveling.

$29,99 and I can say I didn't pay $30!  Someone needs to hack the algorithm and get it to go faster.

but really who cares except mysterD, nobody else wants a box, if they did wouldnt they be going after the pip boy edition for 168.90 on amazon? The digital code is still 59.99.
If I do buy FO4 retail - I'd probably just activate the key onto Steam; download it; and throw the box on my shelf.

It's not like the entire game's on the damn disc/discs anyways.

I wish the digital code was matched at the retail box price. Would save me from spending some $ just to push the price over $35 for free-shipping.
