I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

So apparently this forum is still hacked. Check the front page. Yeesh.

Edit: Seems to be fixed now but it said that the forum passwords were not really protected.

Someone could log i with your credentials and start saying that there are games they like. Then all the cred you have built over the years here of hating everything will be gone. Poof. Just like that. So maybe change your password.

I, on the other hand, have no cred whatsoever. So I only stand to gain if someone starts posting as me.

I thought that much was obvious. You don't tell people that their passwords are safe, and then tell them that they'll need to change their passwords. It's poor damage control.

Pro-tip: use different randomly generated passwords for each web site

Pro-tip #2: use a password tool like Last Password or 1Password

Good thing I still have my 2004 message board password here on CAG since I have never changed it. I'm sure it could be used to get into my other early aughts forum boards that I haven't even thought about for 10+ years.

 
OMG, THE HACKERZ STOLE MY INFO AND LOGGED INTO MY GMG ACCOUNT AND BOUGHT A WHOLE BUNCH OF MORANS BUNDLES LAST WEEK AND HAVE BEEN IMPERSONATING ME. BRB WHILE I GET REFUND FROM GMG.

Pro-tip #3: Who cares if your CAG forum password gets cracked? God willing you're not using the same password for your bank or Google account.

 
I have it on good authority that the Back Hat Hacker-Crackers are going to hack my account tonight and play Shark Deathmatch 2.  So you'd want to let them win or else they'll dox your blox and refinance your home mortgage into a lower APR without your approval.

 
If the hackers still have access, they will have access to the new passwords anyway.  So something needs to be done to address the hack, and secure the site before a password change makes sense.

 
I use the same password for everything, except my steam account, which is 256 random characters.  I know where my wealth lies.

 
I propose a class action CAGsuit where CheapyD has to let us all use his futuristic robotoliet.

I don't expect anyone to actually get what I'm referencing.

Where are the good hackers, that hack your steam or psn account and assist you with your backlog? I'm at 1% on so many games (and have some unopened) it's getting harder and harder to justify to my wife I need more :(
 
I'll admit, after someone hacked me a few years ago, I put all my passwords in a little book and they are all completely different.  So yea, maybe they'll guess one.  But at the end of the day, I don't have enough money/fame/nudie pics to be worth it.  

Congrats, you wasted your time hacking me.  You can see I have debt, am not rich, and eat at fast food joints way more than anyone should.
