I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

And to add a little bit more detail to the definition, it doesn't necessarily mean full price, but buying a game even at a discount close to release date or on pre-order or shortly after release date. Basically, breaking the 75% or GTFO rule.

re: Password Changes

If you visit the site on mobile it looks like it is forcing you to enter a new email, but if you visit on desktop you see that it's just the control panel giving you the option. Of course, since you can't access these posts without changing your password first, this post isn't going to help anyone.

Re: Bro-Op, I'm pretty easy going with both dates and games. If there's a week where I don't have the game(s) I don't worry about it. If I have it, I'll try and be there. I know Spoder (and I assume Fox) has been trying to figure out games the most number of people have and I keep telling him not to sweat it if I can't join. If there's some bundle that has a good candidate, maybe post about it here as well so people know that this $1.99 bundle has something they might actually play in a few days.

Games are games. I'm no more upset about not attending because I didn't fakey a $20 title than if I can't attend because I missed some Alienware giveaway. I say just play whatever enough people own to fill a room.

The Hot Deals forum on videogamegeek. They tend to be a bit less experienced when it comes to bundles that we are, though.

 
Oh yeah, I was posting when that turd took the site down again.  Will be joining for Vermintide tonight.  Also wanted to put out feelers about an earlier bro op now that I know we can create our own bro events.  Would anyone be up for another event on Wednesdays, earlier than ten?

CAG being down has been productive for me - since I found some time to squeeze in around 2 hours of AC: Syndicate.

Between this and the Arkham Knight fiasco... I'm never buying another WB game again. At least not until a year or so after release, and only if the dev isn't crappy about ports.

The three days seem to go well. Most weeks I probably can't do all three days, but there's been at least one game a week I don't have so it works out. With so many days we'll probably be seeing more repeat games, which is good when we can jump right in and don't need to spend half the event figuring things out.

Having a mix of fakeybro and bundle trash seems like a good balance. Trash can turn out to be fun with bros, and it's always good to know I'm getting my pennies worth out of them. Fakybro games will probably have less people owning them but it seems to draw out the bros who don't regularly join.

We used to start at 9 eastern but I believe it was moved because it was harder to get people to show up earlier. Sometimes people schedule other hours so it could work for some. I wouldn't be able to start any earlier than 10.

 
Price on boxed Fallout 4 on Amazon is dropping again...  $40.43, though so it'll be a few days before it his hourly update status.

 
Hey guys i'm wondering what happened to my favorite site? This site used to be a plain white background with black text on the front and it would occasionally change message, sometimes it would display a message about demanding mass password reset, sometimes shutting down a website, etc. Not sure if you guys would know where that site relocated. thanks

I liked Dead Island better when it still had the duplication glitch. Saved me the hassle of repairing things.
