This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I'm half-serious about that.

Actually I'd be tempted to grab a sub-$100 360 just to stick in my bedroom and use to stream Hulu, Netflix and whatnot. Then I could move the PS3 back in the living room so I'm not annoying my wife at night when I play Singstar. Actually my totally unscientific study has uncovered the intriguing finding that I could be playing Avenged Sevenfold cranked up to 11 (I would never do this because Avenged Sevenfold is terrlble) right next to her and she'd sleep through it but if I were playing Uncharted or God of War on the lowest volume settings, she'd wake up and start cursing at me for making such a racket.

 
Hah, all the 360 Gears of War games and Halo Reach run like shite on Xbox One. Digital Foundry did a vid of them and i think Halo Reach dipped to 9 frames lol. You can get a new graphics card instead of wasting $200, heh.

Have you tried one of those wife mufflers? I see them in all the stores.

I'm rather hesitant to bring this up because every time I mention Putingate it seems to lead to Ashot P came to my house, gave me SARS and ruined my life kind of posts, but One Piece is ~ $7.50 on Putingate. No RU in the url so should be ROW.

Don't look for it in NA region. They don't sell it to us.

One Piece is great fun, I play it on my clearly superior ps4.

PC port is a tad lackluster in the graphics department, supposedly.

Pirate Warriors is fun IF you are a fan of the source material and/or Dynasty Warriors games. 

The port isn't great - it runs ok, but the in-game graphics menu is completely broken - as in, changing the options literally does nothing. There's a "mod" - really a third party program - that enables some of the options like draw distance and shadow quality (as well as removing the color fog thus making the game much more colorful.) I recommend getting that - http://steamcommunity.com/app/331600/discussions/0/520518688941616319/

Other than that, there are some texture mods and SweetFX / ENB type stuff available if you dig around in the game's Steam forum, I don't really recommend any of it though.

Eh, you have to put it into terms Fox understands.

Fox, it's like Mucha Lucha, but they have special powers like MLP characters. You'd really like it since one of the Four Emperors, a super fatty named Big Mam, can turn people into candy. And there's one fight that makes fun of how stupid WWE wrestling is.

I don't know, I haven't watched rasslin' since sixth grade. Some of my "friends" still watch the pay-per-poo matches to see Undertaker die and come back to life (thanks Obama) but they are career retail workers and one of them is going to prison.

MGS:V is excellent. Great big open world full of fun ways to kill Russkies. Paid ~£20 a month ago and have zero regrets, it's fantastic.

It IS massive, mind. Don't expect to blaze through it. Also the story is kinda silly.

I might possibly take you up on that eventually, I hit level 70 with Crusader but I'm not really enjoying the class. I'm working on a Barbarian currently (50ish) and would also like to get a seasonal Demon Hunter.

For the Endless Legend achievement, just start a new game and the mission will pop up during your first turn. You have to send a unit to explore a few ruins (technically two, but you'll inevitably not find anything on occasion, so you'll probably need to search half a dozen). Keep your hero and a unit or two stacked so you can win the battle that pops up (and ignore parley with any minor factions to avoid getting embroiled in unnecessary combat). Took about 30 minutes for me.

The EL DLC throws a few new game mechanics and another faction at you, but probably isn't necessary for the average CAG who is just going to play a few rounds. The basegame is fantastic as it is. There is a DLC Pack which includes the two major expansions and the two minor content additions. Haven't heard if there's going to be more stuff added in the future...development may have shifted into full Endless Space 2 mode by now.

They announced a new race for EL on their endless day stream, something about them being able to deal with winter better or w.e. But that was it afaik.
