This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I'm not sure if people are still considering a Hearthstone tournament, but I'd be down.

One thing you can do to level the playing field is play Tavern Brawl games. There's a different Tavern Brawl every Wednesday-Sunday and while some require you to build your own deck, many supply a randomized or pre-constructed deck. This week, you pick a class and basically pick from a random set of 3 cards every turn.

Oh, and to access TB, you need 1 level 20 hero. Doesn't take very long to get 1 character to level 20.

If anyone is interested in Ultra Street Fighter IV on Steam, Amazon is selling this for $3.99:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058KRA0K

It's listed as a DRM-free download (get pumped MysterD!) but comes with a GFWL key, which you can use to activate the Steam version of USFIV.  If you have leftover slow bro credits, they also apply.

If I'm reading ISTAD right, this looks like a historic low for the game by almost 50%.

EDIT: Foxhack is right, you're still missing the Ultra content.  Still, I guess not a bad deal that gets you basically 3/4 of the way to the full game, especially if you just plan to use the AI as a punching bag.

You still need to buy the upgrade to Ultra, but you get a pretty good game in the meantime - it's mostly the same except for the missing characters and stages.

You gotta love some steam deals they make the average Joe able to buy games and enjoy them instead of just the rich people out there. Not hating but if you don't work for it then your just spoon fed. I thank Steam everyday for making it so easy to make my YouTube videos because they make it affordable. FistyCuffs Gaming wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for some great deals. What do you guys think of Steam and how they operate?

This is the king of success you can have by taking advantage of the great beast that is steam!

Here's the main steam thread Fisty. You'll get way more publicity from posting there.

Go promote your crappy channel elsewhere~

That guy got nuked fast.  N-e-wayz, I might have to bite on $4 Massive Chalice.  The sinking Fallout 4 sale went belly-up.  Guess I should have grabbed it at $33... or maybe it was for the best.

I'm not pumped.

I already own SF4 [original] from retail; and both SSF4 AE + Ultra SF4 on Steam.

None-the-less, great deal for anyone missing SSF4 and needs a fix. SF4 versions are all a blast.

Any bundle it would be in would probably be with other Double Fine games that I have zero interest in playing. I should have bought $33 FO4... I blame you!

Okay so I think a Hearthstone tourney will be scheduled towards the end of February to give people time to level up, play it, and we'll try to do that Tavern Brawl thing.

I haven't played in a long time...hmmm maybe I should try for this. I still feel it's strongly inferior to MTG in every way, but Cards and Castles made me say hey Hearthstone is better than this boring arse F2P.

Problem is you can't predict what type of Tavern Brawl will be going on -- sometimes it's one where they give you decks and sometimes it's create your own deck (from cards you have).

Okay Mooby, make up your mind. First you want everyone to play the game to give you referral points and now you are being all negative nancy about it.

Also just asking in Hearthstone is there a mode like drafting with multiple people...like say a Friday Night Magic? I know there is arena which is nice solo, but otherwise i'm not sure.

Also Hearthstone is superior to MTG with the mana crystal thing. I've been mana screwed many times so that is nice.

My referral link is for HoTS. Hearthstone is Hearthstone. HoTS = Heroes of the Storm, the moba. I never thought it was a particularly good idea to do Hearthstone over HoTS given the inequalities of people's card libraries. And that Hearthstone is only a 1on1 experience.

I don't know what your nerdy lingo means. We'll be playing some games from Blizzard in February. That is all.

Good catch, I missed that. Oh well, free slow bro credits purchase +1 I guess.

Warcraft 2 LAN party at Bobby's house?
Now I'm gonna install it just in case there is a brofest night of WC3, god I spent way too many hours playing that game before I had kids. Now I have kids and I'm lucky to get a few hours of any game in a week.

Lesson is, never have kids if you want to be able to game when you want.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I have just about all the Double Fine games I'd care to play, so another DF bundle wouldn't be very tempting.

I hadn't thought about Massive Chalice being in the Humble Monthly. It's a decent candidate, for sure. If I buy MC on today's deal, you can be sure it will be in there. If I don't buy it today, then you can just about bet that it won't be in the monthly.

Stay tuned to my activity feed and do the opposite.

I'll go ahead and buy it for your sakes. Even if it pops up in a bundle I can't pay for that with laundered steam monies.

Hope that Hearthstone thing ends up being pre-made decks. I'd like to play but I'm way out of the loop on how to make a decent deck by now.
