Down to 4 more trophies for the dante plat, but basically gotta do a complete second playthrough almost, but im alreayd 1/3 into it now. This is where I normally just say screw it, im done, but I think ill just play it off an on and eventually get it, mainly cause I have it digital and no rush to beat it to trade back in before value drops like I do with newer games.

Deadpool is funny, laughed out loud a few times already, getting me excited about the movie too which is good.

I saw a commercial on Comedy Central at like 3 in the morning on Sunday for some auction site where they were selling for $9.78 cause the auctions only go up a penny at a time and everything is deathly cheap! Seems totally legit with realistic results to me.

On a side note, does anyone in here want to buy 2007 Honda Civic? I'll give you a good price, but the buyer needs to dig it out of the snow.

 
The Jade Harvester set dungeon in Diablo is really irritating me, so heres obligatory thread bitching. I nearly get it every single time, only a few seconds off.

I saw them once and they were really good. They opened for Billy Idol. I couldn't care less about seeing Billy but bought tickets anyway. We stayed for maybe 5 or 6 songs of Billy Idol left and went to the bar.

 
Mr. Bungle is so good, especially the album they did with John Zorn.

I saw Faith No More and Helmet play in Chicago back in the day - such a great show. And I've seen Bungle and Fantomas a few times. Great fucking shows. Patton is an incredible performer.

Ha, Epic is pure commercial 90s trash. That album was basically where Patton was just singing over songs that were already written when he came in. Listen to the Angel Dust album where he had a lot more influence. Or listen to that first Bungle album, so good.
 
Mike Patton also did voice work for some video games. He did the Voice of the anger sphere in Portal as well as the Voice of the Darkness in both of the Darkness games. Apparently he also did some of the infected voices in the Last of Us.

Fantômas - The Omen (Ave Satani) is one of my favorites by Patton. Also Angel Dust and King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime. Cuckoo for Caca!

I'm not sure I've listened to Angel Dust. Their This Is It compilation is great, though. I haven't listened to it in a while and you guys have reminded me that I need to do so again.

 
Question for anyone who played Amalur:

What's an easy way to make some money? I never have any and all my equipment is shitty because I've been relying on loot drops, which haven't been that good.

2nd playthrough goes through much faster, I would expect even faster if you just played it on classic. I played through on zealot again. Tried out some of those EA trials for the St. Lucia DLC and they are pretty hard. Looks like I might not be able to 100% it.

I loved Amalur and it's combat but I can't even remember how you earned money besides random looting. I wish I could help. I do remember the dlc having some really good armor but it's probably level locked so if you grab it early it will be outclassed quickly.

You definitely need a good partner, and it's not an easy 100% by any means. I got lucky with mine since we were pretty equal in skill.

 
Good thing I made all my purchases yesterday as I was busy at work all day, didn't even get a full 30 minutes for lunch.

That Valkyria Chronicles LE is pretty swanky and very reasonable at $24.

Yeah I don't remember much about how to earn money, but I didn't really need it since it was so easy to craft op weapons and armor. I felt like doing that took some fun out of the game though.

I swear I'm super close to just driving around the corner to Gamestop and buying a Vita.

It's pretty good. I think I mentioned it already, but for as "out there" and "mysterious" as they made the trailers for the game, the actual game could be any more of your typical platformer. 

That being said, the game it totally competent, if forgettable. Also $20 is kinda ridiculous. I think this is definitely a game that would have launched for $10 even 3 years ago, but indie prices have kind of been exploding like crazy.

I'm sure it'll take them a couple weeks for them to get back to me. I assume I fuck ed something up years ago when I originally fired up portal 2 and probably set everything up not knowing the importance of it. I hate these hoop jumping things involved in games, like how I can't get my original account to link with my psn to put my ea sports game face into madden 13 for a trophy. I probably just need to not play games that are 5 years old and expect things to go right.

Side note: Actual Sunlight is depressing as hell.

Oh yea, its a breeze, it just making the effort to get through it again. I only played for like 1 hour or so I think and made it to the start of greed. Wont have to waste 30 mins trying to get that one fucking collectible at the beginning of that where you have to do this dumb ass jump to get to something.

Where did you get the dlc at? Dont have it and it aint cheap right now.

It's nice to see Xbox fans are just as disillusion as PlayStation ones when it comes to free games expectations. People are predicting Rocket League, Super Hot, Dishonored HD, Hand of Fate, Arkham Origins, and/or Alan Wake for Games with Gold.

I mean, one or two maybe are possible but people are predicting they'll get four of those games. I don't see that happening. At least Sony fans are so fucking depressed with PS Plus that they don't make outlandish predictions like that anymore.

I respec'd my perks to get higher blacksmithing and sagecrafting. I didnt even realize it unequipped all my armor, so I went to sell some stuff and then bought a bunch of components. Now I have no armor and a bunch of useless components because I need about 9000 gold to buy the core parts to craft what I need. Stupid.

Here's hoping the one chestpiece and sword I crafted can actually help me survive on the next quest.

Just pretend you pay for plus for MP and that the games are a bonus, you'll be much happier that way.
