I blame this thread for this ad for Fallout 4 from Amazon.

I already have it so I haven't been looking at the page there.

No idea why I have the art of shaving either.
Maybe because you eat pussy on the first date, but you prefer it shaved. No hairrrryyy pizzza pieee for Mariotoki!!!!!!!

Thief Deadly Shadows doesn't even come up on the store. Guess they stopped selling it for whatever reason.

So I have a GG game that has been removed from store? I'm such a boss. Will offer it for $1000 on Steam Trades.

I told you guys the Umihara games would return. I -am- surprised Degica picked them up, and delighted. Expect them to show up in a Gala or a Humble sooner or later!

Edit: Also, Motoki for the love of god check your notifications. 1633? Seriously?

I'm always in the threads I give half a shit about, and sometimes in the ones I don't, so I don't really see the need.

I'm not too surprised Degica grabbed them up. They did a great job managing the Muv Luv kickstarter (the most successful VN kickstarter ever, and one of the most successful game kickstarters). They know how to get shit done with niche japanese games.

I know we are all conditioned to ignore the weekly sales on Steam but there are a few things worth mentioning this week.

Hard West, hit a new all time low at $12.99 (35% off), it plays like Jagged Alliance or X-COM.  (Very Positive reviews.)  Haven't played it, though it is on my wishlist, so not much I can add about it.

Gun, ties its all time low at $4.99 (75% off, its hit this low a few times), its a third person shooter, open world (though sort of small), very solid story, Hollywood voice acting (when that was extremely rare), and a very rememberable sound track drive this story forward.  Outside of a endgame boss battle I don't remember the gameplay being bad.  Was a launch title for the 360 and was on the PS2/Xbox so its not the prettiest of games.

I started playing Cities Skyline after waffling between that, Prison Architect, and Banner Saga.  What a great choice, brings back all the feels of Sim City 4.

Man, I was hoping DotEMU would have picked them up and added Tages DRM and made each game a 1TB download...

I've had my eye in Hard West since the winter sale. It looks pretty fun and I love the setting but I just can't bite for $13. I can't imagine it holds its price very well and I know by the time I get to it it will likely have been bundled. If it was ~$7.50 I miiiiiight buy it. $13 doesn't charge these batteries civilian.

Since it was in a WGN Poopees maybe Carl can shed some light on this. There's way too much shit to read through but the jist I got skimming was dev is freaking the fuck out because ZOMG Resellers.

I'm guessing that's Cyanic posting as Poopees? Or maybe Shitty Slug?

Also how does Poopees not have the contact info of a developer whose game they peddled? They probably had him sign a music contract too.

Same. Hell, I still haven't even played the XCOM remake after being so excited for it, having it for years (AND on two platforms), and, silly me, on some level I'm considering fakybroing the deluxe version of XCOM 2 cause I got a 27% of code from GMG. I mean I'm sure I'll resist but I shouldn't even be considering it.

Speaking of fakeybroing... I'm registering my preorder beta code for The Division and its giving me the option of invite three of my friends to the beta... I would need a email address but if anyone wants in just PM me your email address. (I'll hold off and give people a chance to PM.)

You really should get to it, it's quite outstanding. Enough so that I pre-ordered the sequel at $32 knowing I wouldn't be able to wait a year for it to hit that price again.

I applaud this dev. He's a firm believer in "This ain't no charity, bitch!"

Given how bad they've been with contracts recently, I'm going to side with the dev on this one. I entirely believe that Groupees would pull a stunt like not paying developers until their games actually get greenlit, and just pocketing the cash if they never hear back.

While I agree that Groupees fucked up, it's not rational for the dev to wait 10 months after the bundle ended to complain about not getting paid. Seems like he planned this out. He noticed that he didn't get paid and exploited the screw up so that he wouldn't have to deliver keys to Groupees. However, it doesn't seem like a big deal.. he's giving people keys that email him. Hilarious that he called a few legit purchasers scammers at first though.

35% off = not much of an "all time low", if you ask me.

Gun was pretty fun gameplay-wise, back when it came out. I wish more games actually used the old-school Wild Wild West as a setting. Not enough Westerns, IMHO.

But at almost every turn, plot and character-wise....
...as characters seem to actually start to develop or the plot really starts to go actually somewhere, they often seem to kill characters off or write them out of the story somehow.
That's one of the only disappointing parts of the game, IMHO.

Still, for that cheap - gameplay-wise, very fun open-world game and definitely worth playing.

Since we're on Westerns - where's that RD Redemp PC port? :p

You're not helping any... :p

I've been playing (mostly) Arkham Origins of late but maybe I should work in the reboot over the next ten days... *sigh* Really shouldn't fakeybro it. (Also reading Stephen King's 11/22/63 in preparation for the Hulu series that drops on Feb 15 so I'm sort of busy.)

Like you said... Not enough Westerns in gaming. ;)

Dude, you know Yanni Crappuccino writes down shit like that in his limo on a napkin where he places his glass of Dom Perignon so he doesn't warp the oak burl armrest. Ink gets all blurry and shit, yo....

Poopees Jonny crappucino coin got added and its value is dropping like it's hot.

Anyone want to come help us do real time value updates in the Poopees thread?

I don't suppose we could find 10 people that want to do a split for this? Greenlight stuff but will give keys. Comes to 50 cents each per bundle if you buy 10 or 60 cents each if you buy 5.

Anyone know of something similar that I could look for? (cause I'm helpless)
Play Life is Feudal. You will wake up alone on an island in that game as well. And it will also be full of puzzles like "Why am I here?", "How do I pick apples?", "Can I punch this deer to death?" and "Who thought playing this would be a good idea?"

I need this to go on sale asap: http://store.steampowered.com/app/210970/

My kind of game for sure.

Scroll to the bottom "More like this", only one I've played is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, looks kinda similar style wise. It was ok. I've also played Gone Home and Dear Esther but those didn't really have any puzzles, except for figuring out where you need to go/what you need to look at.

I appreciate the "more like this" area, but I was hoping for some real world input from you idiots. I need to learn though, that this isn't the real world. This is planet CAG. Species heretofore unknown. (I say that with affection though)

Well that assumes we play our games.

we don't

But if you want a walking sim on the cheap there's always The Graveyard. ;)

The "demo" version is the same as the full version except you don't get a chance that the old lady croaks. You have to pay for that.

Maybe play Braid - Jonathan Blow's prior game, if you haven't already. It doesn't look anything like Witness, but it is a fantastic time manipulation puzzle game. It will make you feel like a genius. Guaranteed.
