Assuming the Vita version will be treated the same way, it might get a separate trophy list since PSNP's listing only mentions the PS4 version.

 
Could watch the Super Bowl with the Fire's CBS Sports app but that just runs the risk of someone over riding it with their kindles or taking the remote.

Should be just fine to watch it over the air/antenna. (assuming I'll be able to watch it)

I'm nearing the end of Majin, and while I can see the backtracking that Gator and simmias mentioned, I'd hardly call it a metric fuck ton--maybe 10-15 minutes' worth.

I don't remember backtracking being so bad. it was the grinding to max out the levels post-game that was a pain for me.

League party was yesterday. Huge collection of games including a Cactus Canyon Continued. This was a game they never finished the software for. "Continued" is a conversion to a P-Roc system. Essentially a PC inside. Then they completed the software and added lots of crazy stuff. It has party modes, one of which reverses how the flippers work. When you're not pressing them they are up, when you press them they drop. We had a contest like that. It's super hard to get straight. Fine when you have time to think. Doesn't go so well when you have to react. Pretty funny.
 
Man, Killzone Mercenaries is kicking my ass on Veteran. I'm usually pretty decent at shooters on higher difficulties but this one is just not fun at all especially since it doesn't have a lot of checkpoints. Might just throw it down to easy so I can blast through the story.
 
Playing through Gravity Rush: Remastered. I just beat the first boss. Graphics look native to PS4 and the controls are very solid. It's quite fun and I'm having a lot of fun with the various powers she has. The challenges are nice, too--a good mix of skill and upgrades required to get gold in them. I can't compare it to the Vita version but anybody curious about the PS4 version should check it out.

This doesn't compete with BestBuy or Amazon but I got an email from GameStop that you can get a bonus 1000 RewardsPoints for picking up select games within 7 days of launch. Isn't that $5?

At BBY you can't cash in certificates until you reach the minimum $5 threshold so same type of concept except BBY gives you enough to cash out $10 immediately with preorder. Conclusion, GS is garbage but we already knew that.
 
Interesting, I bought the Killzone Trilogy from Best Buy when it was on clearance last week.  Redeemed the DLC code that comes with for the map packs and it also gave a copy of the digital version of Killzone HD, even though it's on one of the discs.  So that's unexpected.

I am guessing since this slip has an expiration date of 10/10/16 on it, they printed a second batch of this collection as there was an issue a couple of years ago with codes expiring in 2013.  Sony also apparently recycled older codes for the God of War Collection that gives people trying to redeem these codes for Kliizone the 2 PSP remastered games and that 2 part interview with the developers.  I think I had that happen recently where I redeemed something for some other game (don't remember if it was PS3 or 360) and it gave me something else instead.  Makes you wonder if any other old codes you already redeemed years ago would work for something else now.

deadly tower of monsters plat get.  it's a quickie for sure.  only advice I have is don't bother with the shooting targets at all until the end, someone made a nice video guide and it's harder to follow if you don't wait (but certainly not too bad).  there's a trophy or two that might be missable - specifically killing a big dinosaur with a knife might be lost if you kill all the big dinosaurs with something else since I don't think they respawn.

fun game though.  if you pay $5 for it you'll get more than $5 of entertainment out of it and that's probably about the right price.  but I have no ragrets.

 
I'm on mobile so I can't post a link to the thread from the main forum, but next week's Best Buy ad lists a 50% trade-in bonus for all PS4/XB1 games.
