This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I think how much people think they will get for those digital keys is overblown. As for the physical crap, if you aren't going to sell it then it doesn't matter if you could. :p

- constantly pre-ordering crap bundles, feeling disappointed, then pre-ordering again

- being haunted by missing 99% price glitches of which everyone else got 10 copies and sold for $39 profit each

- disgruntlement with Steam sales and 66% discounts on 3-year-old games

- not getting Steam keys from some bundle purchases

- the decline of Nuuvem/Putingate/other sources of regional discounts

- and so on.

We're one big dysfunctional family but we love each other. :)

$160 keyboards break up easier if you're new at keyboard smashing. Trying to break a $10 keyboard in half is harder since it's made from one solid piece and not a bunch of smaller, more fragile ones. NOOB.

They may get into fist fights with each other sometimes, but they'll stop in the middle of a fight to defend each other from someone outside that talks shit about a member.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Verdun? I know a lot of CAGs got it on a price glitch awhile back, curious if anyone has actually played it and thinks its decent?

EDIT - Since no one has mentioned bros for the day, would anyone show up for a BRONIGHT if I scheduled it for this?

Recommend Specs:
Intel Core i7 4790, 4GHz or AMD equivalent

Besides the myriad of outlets that have shown an i7 does not do significantly better than a similarly clocked i5; what exactly would be considered an "AMD equivalent" to an i7?

In any case, this only further validates my decision to leave console gaming. I dont think there is one PS4/XB1 out now I want to play that isnt also on PC (B:AK mess aside). If only PC adds Horizon: Zero Dawn and ReCore....(oh wait! ReCore *is* coming to PC, yay!)

Those are some ridiculous requirements. It's got to be a poorly optimized mess. Why release a game with requirements that put it outside the reach of 80% of the market?

Because Vista worked out so well. Windows 10 is a free upgrade, and they have gotten tons of people to install it. I can't believe Quantum Break will be an OS seller. And as a console port, it's not like it will be pushing the boundaries graphically like a Doom would. The Doom alpha requirements were significantly lower than this.

They say it's DX12 only. So unless they hack WDDM 2, WDDM 2 supporting GPU drivers, and DX12 for Win 7, nope.

And once they realize the game doesn't sell as many copies because Windows 10's platform share is complete shit, they're going to regret that.

They could've sold many more copies of they hadn't locked it to 10. The game is not going to sell very well on PCs, not nearly as well as it really should, and the only one hurt here will be Remedy, who'll be blamed for low sales. Even if they had nothing to do with that decision.

Don't forget, it also won't sell well because it won't be on Steam - If M$ wants it to be a platform exclusive, it will be limited to the Windows 10 store. And there goes M$ interest in supporting the PC platform again.

Apparently preorders for the XBone version (some retailers only) come with a free PC version (crossbuy), which is pretty surprising. They ARE supporting the PC in that regard.

Because the target audience XBONE owners all have killer gaming rigs. So sure, for now, but when it flops hard, they will use it as a reason to support PC gaming in a half-assed way. Like GFWL all over again.

There's rumours that it's on Steam too.

UWP is kinda awful for power users as you have no control and it's missing several features (files can't be changed = no mods, no overlays support, no steam controller, no exclusive full screen)

But there's no region locks, so cheap Ukraine games!
