Minneapolis hip hop is sooo good Zimm. Atmosphere, brother ali, doom tree (pos, dessa, etc), eyedea. Prof is good too. Pretty much anybody who signs with rhymesayers is great.
 
In regards to a v-day flash sale: went to browse the deals section here to find any info on when it was starting and which games were involved. Saw a thread saying now live so i clicked on it and wow, was the list horrendous! Started to post my obligatory "what a load of shit!" response when i noticed it was last year's list. I really need to calm down in life...

I have a friend who was/is an indie hip hop scenester and he loved Minneapolis. He played for a long time as Approach and I think he ran a label or something for a while but I haven't seen him in years. I'll definitely check out your list, thanks.

I've just been getting into the local hip-hop stuff, but the whole music scene up here is damn good. I made a Prof station on Pandora and it's been playing a lot of Atmosphere and Brother Ali, who I hadn't really listened to before. Came away impressed by both.

I admit the local NPR station that plays all the local stuff has way to big a hardon for Doomtree, but their beer from Surly was pretty good.

 
Just out of curiosity I checked to see, and the average rarity of all my plats is 31.34%. lol That's gotta be like the highest here.

 
This is my weekend to work so there won't be any big valentines celebration.

Flowers are passe, but it's better than the alternative of nothing. At least it shows you're still thinking of the person.

Wife actually wants to go see Deadpool, not sure if naked Ryan Renolds fighting  has anything to do with it.

I just remembered a few other locals getting major hype up there that I've seen. Baby Shel was really impressive and brings the speed and Lexii Alijai is only 17 and going places.

There was a band that I saw play up here a couple time that actually lived and rehearsed in the same house that my band used to practice in. We even played the same house party I think. Or maybe they just played a party I went to at the house. They also had one of the greatest band names of all time. Mel Gibson and the Pants.

If true that's ridiculous. Like I think Backlog said, it kinda just looks like a decent looking mobile runner.

Emperor trophy, dumbest trophy I've ever seen. I tried to go for emperor over the summer. More for the in-game perks than the trophy, cause emperors at the time unlocked a new skill set.

Becoming emperor requires your faction to own 6 keeps, the current emperor be on the opposite faction, and you be first place in points on the leaderboard. To achieve this, you either need 100+ man zerg mob while you're in first, or you need a group of 30-50 people communicating during the enemy's off peak hours. Even then, all those people need to be loyal to you. I was close twice, and both times the second group left when we got down to two keeps left. I never tried again after that.

Great game, both single player and multiplayer. Love the visuals and the 2 person ships are really cool. Tried some shareplay with Munky too and it seemed to work pretty well for him. Platinum is also very easy, I should get that tonight.

I think we also maybe figured out a possible way to get trophies via shareplay, but it involves giving the host your password and having them log you in on the host PS4, which I'm sure more people wouldn't want to do. But the game definitely awarded trophies to munky's "visitor" account as we played.

Is Jimmy Johns closed on Sunday everywhere or is that just a Utah thing?

If it's just a Utah thing, it's weird to me that a national franchise would just close down here. Especially in the city, where less than 50% of the population is Mormon.

 
My FWB just got complimented for looking younger than she currently is and I asked if the person who gave the compliment had vision problems. 

So yeah, definitely not getting any for Valentines Day (I wouldn't have anyway.)

LOL! Sorry, I got crushed by that horrendous loss, then crushed by busyness at work. All those people who were fantastic to be around during the Superbowl run were all miserable SOBs all this week!

Just started my three day weekend early, though, and can't wait to see Deadpool this weekend!

LUNCH WAS fuckING FANTASTIC.  two pitchers.  chicks in lingerie for valentines day and our waitress had the hugest boobies.

They were real and they were spectacular!
