PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

This grammy show is pretty boring so far.

My man chris stapleton won country album of the year.

I must say that I like what I like and dont give a shit about the flavor profiles and age of the beer.  I dont care what you call it either.

DOES IT TASTE GOOD!?!?

Pretty much the same thing Wren. One would have to think the fresher it is, the better it tastes when it comes to IPAs.

Alright son, we did it! All 100 mynocks meticulously hunted down and old man Solo unlocked! Now let us take a much deserved break and bask in the glory of our mediocre achievements!

Oh, what's that? You'd like to start getting gold medals on all challenges so we can unlock that little rolling turd of a robot BB-8? Oh, I see... then he can roll around in circles around old man Solo as he stands there, waiting to die... but of course, son... sanity is overrated anyhow...

Murdered Soul Suspect plat get.  Worth a quick playthrough although it sorely needed a decent map.  Was a pain hunting down the 3 town collectibles I needed at the end....

That makes 3 plats this month which I'm sure won't happen again anytime soon.

Any here have Shadow Warrior on disc? Just read this at pst.org:

"Some people have reported their disc copy of Shadow Warrior PS4 doesn't work, with an error message appearing shortly after launching it. Unfortunately, as of September 2015, this still hasn't been patched and the only solution that seems to work is to log out of PSN or temporarily disconnect your console's internet connection while playing the game.""

Maybe I won't get the disc after all...
Dude just get it when it comes eve close to that price. Definitely a must buy for someone like you.

Time and Eternity wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be.
Yeah I actually digged it. The art style was neat but the battles got tediously boring after awhile. Not even close to bad as Last Rebellion.

This actually renewed my interest in the show quite a bit. It points out the biggest flaw with the whole superhero concept that usually gets followed; why even bother fighting bad guys if they'll just break out of prison and go back to killing people? That one problem completely demolishes the ability of most superheros to maintain my interest.

The collections weren't bad as long as you got everything in a location before moving on. If you forget something, though, figuring out how to get back to a previous location was infuriating.

Dragon Fin Soup appears to be nigh-unplayable on Playstation systems, and the devs aren't able to fix the issues because a different studio handled the ports and "dropped the ball": http://www.siliconera.com/2016/02/15/creators-dragon-fin-soup-cant-fix-playstation-versions/

That's disappointing.
This doesn't make sense to me at all.

Blitworks has done a ton of great PS4/PS Vita ports. They're the ones that did Spelunky, and that game has received several updates since it released. There's clearly a process to move update code from the original developers to Blitworks, so why the fuck can't the two companies figure it out on Dragon Fin Soup?

I remember when I first heard about DFS on reddit; the guy who made the initial post was the main artist for the game and he was a complete douchebag in the thread. He started getting hostile as soon as anybody made a comment about the game trailer that wasn't positive. He later went back and deleted all his shitty comments. The DFS devs just sound like they're whining and pointing fingers.

I get that DFS is messed up on PS, but we know Blitworks has put out other solid ports and previously addressed what happened with DFS (that they had to port the game while it was still in development, which caused problems with the resulting product.) They put out Fez, Spelunky, Badland, SMB, and Bastion, none of which I've heard about any problems for. They've said they want to patch DFS and hopefully they'll be able to do that, but I have a lot more faith in Blitworks' ability to put out a quality product and suspect Grimm Bros were the real problem here.

Go get r/Vita all riled up about it, they're usually ferocious about things.

The other thing that sucks is that everyone got it "for free" with Plus so they feel less entitled to a working game than if they had paid $15 for it.

Actual Sunlight 100%

As a person who usually eats up stuff like this I was not impressed. Waaay too much speechifying and was too brief to develop any of the characters. Imagine the movie Fight Club if he never met Tyler Durden. As far as I can tell, there is no branching path nor do your actions seem to have any bearing on the narrative. The game just herds you through its 90 minute runtime (and that's if you take the time to click on everything) and then ends.

Got around to the DVR, and man the Walking Dead came back with a serious episode.  That felt like a finale.  It's going to be hard for them to maintain that, but looking forward to this second half.

First Deadpool playthrough is done. Hopefully I'll have the plat within the next 2-3 days.

Cool Siralim trophy card, Tyler.

Saw it tonight also. It was great. I hear you about maintaining this level. We were talking about the same thing when this season started. If you remember, the seasons first two episodes were just like this week. You could hardly catch a breath. But then it sloooooowed way down.

I'm hoping with the second half of this season, the new antagonist they are bringing on will create some great episodes and we won't have too many slow, character building episodes.

Mild, Firewatch may be your game of the year.

Might be a slight spoiler to some, I guess:

You can catch a cute little turtle and take it back home as your pet.

From IGN:

From the grove, head into the tiny clearing on it's north side (with the single pine tree and large rock). On top of the rock at the base of the tree, you can find a small turtle that Henry can name and bring home to his lookout tower. It will keep the name he gives it for the remainder of the game - though if he decides that it’s name is “a secret,” it will only be referred to as his “Pet Turtle.”

You guys got any tips for the Diamond trophies in First Light? I haven't messed with it much but I made a few attempts this past week. Highest I got was 489k. I think I may have screwed myself a little bit by putting my SP towards other skills and kinda neglecting the homing missles.

Sorry I missed it.

I think everyone but Sage who has PayDay played at some point tonight. Good times.
Let me know next time you guys play, the game didn't finish installing enough to let me play online until late. I had kinda given up on it by the time it finished.

Yeah, homing missiles work the best. At first I spent a lot of tries keeping up to the platforms up at the high sides and using the turrets, but that was pretty hard later on. IIRC what finally did it was running around on the middle at the bottom--that kept me from being completely exposed and targeted by everybody while letting me still have pretty easy access to drops. Definitely upgrade your homing missiles as much as possible, though.

Yeah I've spent all my SP and have only used it on 2 upgrades for the homing missiles. Already got the the collectibles and all that, so the only way to get SP now is challenges. Oh well, I'll keep trying I guess.

I'm sure no one cares, but if you were planning on picking up sf5 and were primarily interested in single player content, don't pick it up. Each 'story' for a character takes about 5 minutes and other than that there's only survival mode which even on hell difficulty seems toned down. So there's maybe 2-3 hours of single player entertainment at the moment (with more to be added apparently).

There are however a fair number of scrubs on pc this morning which has been fun. The servers are broke ass and I expect it'll get worse before it gets better.
