This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I never thought I would miss all the hardware talk but this thread went ahead and made that happen.
Something-something VRAM.

EDIT:

While checking out the shipping cost on that .99 Pillars map I got some crusader kings II India portraits for signing up if anyone wants them.

For those curious the shipping to US only costs $48.16 for that $0.99 map!
Geeez. It better come with a free retail box Pillars: Complete Edition + a Pillars 2 pre-order (with both DRM-FREE on discs and Steam-keys in the physical game manual) for that kind of $.

Free Septerra Core Steam keys (about 250K of them up for grabs) on DLH.Net.

Just jump into your DLH.Net's account's Steam section and request one.

This also involves Facebook likes + shenanigans; and other annoying nonsensical hoops to jump through.
In case anyone needs this here is a fix fox this game.

https://www.sendspace.com/file/sh9jnu

Without this you will end up with dialogue skips as well as an inability to view the FMV sequences in game.

Just dump them in the install folder.

People don't usually have time for bickering when there's glitches around.
We haven't had any serious CAG on CAG bitch fights for ages.

Lately it's generally some noob involved that doesn't get the vibe of this place getting all but butthurt and self righteous.

I love forward to play DD:DA (or however that goes), Witcher 3 was really amazing.  A bit too much for me, being a busy adult with crap to do, as it took about 4 months to complete.  But oof, that ending... I enjoyed it.  I want to play the expansions, but will wait for a "buy it all now at X price" point.  As a fan of the Witcher series since the start, it's not overhyped in the least, and builds upon all the established lore.  It was what ME3 should have been in terms of ending, IMO.

I thought it was douches who intentionally wear ugly ass clothes, have ugly ass hair and facial hair, eat shit food, drink piss beer, and play crap indie 2deep4u pixel games to be ironic.
They also claim The Witch is basically the best film of all time.

Cuz they're sophisticated as fuck

what i learned today is that different people have different tastes in games

And if your opinion doesn't fit the mainstream then you are a hipster.

Played Eternal Step today...Indie Rogue lite game. You go around dungeons killing things and you can roll and use skills and you get better equipment. It felt a bit unpolished and the controls weren't amazing. I got used to it but the boredom set in after killing the same slimes for just the last time. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't call it great either. It's likely a 6/10 in my book. It gave me some fun but it's officially a retired game now.

I never knew I wanted a Crusader Kings II flask until now.
Don't forget to buy the flask cap DLC $10.99 and flask bottom DLC $14.99, otherwise you might be in trouble, AMIRITE?!?

Meh, I just had to visit two sites and join the group on steam.  3 items isn't bad for a gleam giveaway.  Though I'm just happy when I don't have to bother unfollowing a twitter or deleting a tweet/retweet.

I never understand gleam giveaways that have say 3 options at the start that you have to do, with more unlocked after that, but then give the key as soon as you do those 3.  Who is going to do more than they need?

EDIT-

I had a copy from buying my first bundle from DIG.

Thanks for the drop man got it.

Aw, did newbie get bibbitybobbitybanned?

I thought his troll game was weak, but it seemed to get a handful of you riled up, so good enough, I guess.

Gonna miss the little whippersnapper.

No noob rage beats the guy who made an account just to be mad at me about mechanical keyboards and then swore to never post again because he was "pissed" and deleted his posts on the way out  :D/

He wasn't banned this time, but it is Rozz as far as I can tell. It's a user who was permabanned before, regardless.

There's a reason why his new account is a week old.
Thanks.

I almost fakey'd FC: Primal but then remembered how many other new AAA-style games I haven't played yet.  I did fakey a copy of Superhot from the trench coat of Christ the Redeemer just 'cause I could.

I'm still trying to stop myself from fakeying Stardew Valley myself.
If you really want it (i have no clue what it really is tbh), I would get it. Heard people say it's amazing and it's only $15

Edit: oh shit it's like Terraria + Harvest Moon...oh craap

I saw people snapping this up and checked it out. My first reaction was... RPG Maker -- I'm out. Turns out the game is not RPG Maker -- I'm in.

... and is a one-person production. Ok, so lots of those don't turn out well either.

Ultimately, I decided to wishlist and wait for the bundle. It does look promising and I'm pretty sure I'll actually play it once it finds its way into my Library.

I do think a lot of people will be like me though and think RPG Maker and head for the hills.

It's been selling really well though and has a ton of great reviews already in just a day.
