So speaking of beer and filipino step grandma porn, I'm actually pretty excited for all the new Marvel Battlegrounds stuff in Disney Infinity 3.0. Ant man, vision, and black panther!
The most disgusting thing you said in that sentence is Disney Infinity. So speaking of beer and filipino step grandma porn, I'm actually pretty excited for all the new Marvel Battlegrounds stuff in Disney Infinity 3.0. Ant man, vision, and black panther!
If you have a very liberal definition of regional, maybe?Never had a Fat Tire before. Regional thing?
Gotcha. I know a lot of local breweries (Indeed, 612, and Surly come immediately to mind) only do cans except for extra special one-time releases. Now I know why.No light and no oxygen can get in a can. Glass and a crown (or cork) respectively let those in. The beer will stay fresher longer in a can.
There are some that claim they taste the metal. Since the beer doesnt come in contact with anything but the plastic lining inside the can, I call BS on that.
Nope, national brand far as I know.Never had a Fat Tire before. Regional thing?
Filing this under things I probably should have realized but never did.No light and no oxygen can get in a can. Glass and a crown (or cork) respectively let those in. The beer will stay fresher longer in a can.

Interesting, I'll have to see if my local brew store has some next time I'm there. If you have a very liberal definition of regional, maybe?
Well from what I gather canning equpiment is cheaper than bottle equipment plus bottles themselves cost more than cans.Gotcha. I know a lot of local breweries (Indeed, 612, and Surly come immediately to mind) only do cans except for extra special one-time releases. Now I know why.
That new Battlegrounds thing does look pretty cool. I gotta get in on that 3.0 shit for my kid here, but I can wait for a really good sale since there's no 4.0 coming this year.So speaking of beer and filipino step grandma porn, I'm actually pretty excited for all the new Marvel Battlegrounds stuff in Disney Infinity 3.0. Why were cans always looked down upon before the craft beer craze? Bottles were always considered "better" by everyone I ever heard talk about beer. Beer was only ever made in a can so you could take it to places that didnt want broken bottles. Like the beach. No light and no oxygen can get in a can. Glass and a crown (or cork) respectively let those in. The beer will stay fresher longer in a can.

Cause #beersnobs were not nearly as prevalent. Why were cans always looked down upon before the craft beer craze? Bottles were always considered "better" by everyone I ever heard talk about beer. Will keep an eye out.The main beer is ok, i like a lot of their other stuff though. They have one called snapshot that is pretty good.
Yeah I like Brown Ales, will keep an eye out for this one too.Oh yea they have that salted caramel brownie brown ale too, its as zimm would say tits a poppin.
You like brown ales right frontlog? You should try it.

1554 is actually the only New Belgium beer I've tried yet. As I said at that time, it is damn good.It is a decent beer but damn good is a hell of a stretch. I prefer almost all their other year round offerings with 1554 being my favorite.
Early cans did suck. Way back when many had the equivalent of a sticker over the opening and they did not have the plastic lining technology like you do today. Also, the seaming for the top was not as sophisticated. Why were cans always looked down upon before the craft beer craze? Hey, you don't see me judging your disgusting fetishes, so leave mine out of this. The most disgusting thing you said in that sentence is Disney Infinity.
I don't know if this is enough of a sale for you, but BB has it for $16 after GCU and you get a free 2.0 marvel figure. That new Battlegrounds thing does look pretty cool. I gotta get in on that 3.0 shit for my kid here, but I can wait for a really good sale since there's no 4.0 coming this year.
I didnt see this I guess but they have a Saison, Tank 7 that is amazing. And the Sixth Glass quad is good, but not great.Oh and I asked about 80 acre hoppy wheat beer from Boulevard in here the other day. No one answered but I decided to try it anyway. I like it, alot actually. It's probably the first wheat beer that I've tried that I would buy again.
If this is really the case now they should stop making bottles for soda or beer period. Save the environment and all.Early cans did suck. Way back when many had the equivalent of a sticker over the opening and they did not have the plastic lining technology like you do today. Also, the seaming for the top was not as sophisticated.
Now, canning technology makes it a superior product. Not to mention the lower transportation costs for cans versus bottles due to weight reduction and the cans taking up less space. Also aluminum costs less to recycle than glass.
As far as the start up costs, that is not entirely true. For Ball to even deal with you, you have to make huge orders of cans so you have to have the space to store all the blanks. Plus, you need a separate huge order for each of your beers. There are definitely trade offs for going with cans. Some breweries even do a blank can and then attach a sticker for the beer to avoid that issue. That is only legal in a few states.
I've saw Tank 7 at the grocery store around the corner. May grab a pack soon.I didnt see this I guess but they have a Saison, Tank 7 that is amazing. And the Sixth Glass quad is good, but not great.
That's a great deal for that set, but I still need 3.0 proper. Thought about getting it digitally on sale last week, but forgot about it. I'll just look for cheap starter packs or another sale.I don't know if this is enough of a sale for you, but BB has it for $16 after GCU and you get a free 2.0 marvel figure.

yeah unfortunately I dont like cheap beer anymore. THANKS GATOR! but at least its tasty! This shit better be good at $10.50 per 4-pack Wren. Beer advocate agrees with you. I'll probably swing by and get some today.
Thanks Stotch. Happy to contribute. It has been about a week since the last beer conversation, I was really starting to miss it. Glad you guys came through.
Aw we talking about something you dont like so you have to complain? Aw.It has been about a week since the last beer conversation, I was really starting to miss it. Glad you guys came through.
I was hoping you would click on that distribution map I sent so you could see how lonely Utah was in the western part of the US. Since you didn't, I realized you would probably enjoy another post pointing it out because beer.It has been about a week since the last beer conversation, I was really starting to miss it. Glad you guys came through.
If you're only looking for the disc shoot me a PM. Haven't touched my copy since finishing the Empire play set. I'm not sure if I still have the Twilight play set that comes with starter packs or not but can check when I'm home tonight. That's a great deal for that set, but I still need 3.0 proper. Thought about getting it digitally on sale last week, but forgot about it. I'll just look for cheap starter packs or another sale.
You should have got the USA one and just used Three Floyd's awesome cap for the Indiana one.On a related note, the state shaped beer cap maps are cool in theory. In practice, not enough breweries in Indiana bottle. And of the ones that do, a lot have plain gold bottle caps. Kinda which we'd sprung for the full USA one instead. Gonna have to upgrade eventually.
Ha, I logged in and was like, "Wow, the thread's moving today! I bet some exciting game announcement happened!" Nope. Beer.It has been about a week since the last beer conversation, I was really starting to miss it. Glad you guys came through.
Personally, I'd be fine with filling in the rest of indiana with Three Floyd's caps. I'll take a pic of what we've got done so far when I get home, but a lot of them are just regular with notes in sharpie on the back of what they were lol. Pretty sure the bf started filling in the corners with beer from neighboring states after he realized we were never going to get that many indiana caps. You should have got the USA one and just used Three Floyd's awesome cap for the Indiana one.
AHEM. Beer AND Wrencrest's (non) Sexual AdventuresHa, I logged in and was like, "Wow, the thread's moving today! I bet some exciting game announcement happened!" Nope. Beer.
The thread never moves from a game announcement. Now an everything for $1 flash sale I could see causing it.Ha, I logged in and was like, "Wow, the thread's moving today! I bet some exciting game announcement happened!" Nope. Beer.
And porn. Lots of porn.AHEM. Beer AND Wrencrest's (non) Sexual Adventures
Yeah the Dark Truth Stout I had the other day made me want to check out more of their stuff. It was flat out delicious.I enjoyed all the beers that came in my Boulevard variety pack, especially the two tasters room ones.
It is a good one, but there are a lot better ones out there in the style. It is one of the more affordable ones for the style though.Yeah the Dark Truth Stout I had the other day made me want to check out more of their stuff. It was flat out delicious.
I don't hate wheat beers, it's just that most of the ones I've tried have been bland and boring. Granted I haven't tried that many.It is a good one, but there are a lot better ones out there in the style. It is one of the more affordable ones for the style though.
Tank 7 is the best Saison made in the US that I have tried and it is not even close. It is one of very few beers that I would be perfectly happy with keeping stocked in the fridge all the time that is not an IPA.
With that said, the style may not be for everyone. If you happen to hate wheat beers (even though it is very different) you likely would not like it.
I ordered Watch Dogs and a $10 PSN card from Best Buy yesterday. I still don't have it. I think they screwed me. Should I ask for Amazon credit?hey guys I ordered a $10 psn code from the Sony rewards site and partial paid with points. And then I got my code. Saga concluded!
Very loaded question. Generally, you want fresher beer but it is not as important for beers that are less hop forward than IPAs and pale ales. Generally, the higher the ABV the longer they can go. If it is a sour (which tends to be lower ABV) aging usually helps too.Gator, is it important to make sure any style of beer aside from an IPA is super-fresh? I know some stouts may actually get better with age. Mainly referring to Ales and such. I know that Tank 7 has been at this store for a good while.
Cool. At 8.5% that Tank 7 should be good to go I'd think.Very loaded question. Generally, you want fresher beer but it is not as important for beers that are less hop forward than IPAs and pale ales. Barrel aged beers have more booze flavors when fresher. Some (like me) prefer that. Others want it to mellow.
For me it was about application. How do you shotgun a bottle? Why were cans always looked down upon before the craft beer craze? Bottles were always considered "better" by everyone I ever heard talk about beer. Beer was only ever made in a can so you could take it to places that didnt want broken bottles. Like the beach.
Another reason I like the expensive Belgian shit. They are all high ABV. And delicious. The Tank 7 I have had is always a few months or more old. They dont sell all that fast sometimes. Stupid Americans only drink Budweiser or IPAs.Cool. At 8.5% that Tank 7 should be good to go I'd think.
