PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Meatball Grinder signs and bags still not out, but it is in their system, so the nice cashier made me a custom bag with it so I got it and goddamn fucking yum.

I am pretty sure Zimm is on the no mayo bandwagon too. Not to mention he only seems to care for hoppy beers.

I guess I can understand people not liking spicy food, but that seems like an awful way to live.
Yeah I know he doesnt like mayo either, but lotsa meats beats peppers and onions. I never said I dont like spicy food. but I like my spice from actual spices, not from peppers. Although I can eat them too, just not in sandwiches,

Yeah, I have a lot of rules so sue me!

Anyway, it turns out the meatball grinder is good, but it isnt great or anything. It didnt help that the girl taking my order was dead behind the eyes and neither she nor the "manager" guy seemed to know what they were doing. That kind of dampened the mood.

Was going to but the cash offer was too good to pass up. I hardly played the xbox anyways, I really wasn't impressed at all by it
#rehash That's because they take good studios and turn them into shit. I'll wait for the backfire......

Y'all know any good 2-player board/card* games (co-op or competitive) to play?  Looking to play something new with the Lady this weekend.  We already have and played Ticket to Ride and the Catan card game thing.

*by card game I mean boxed with own cards/rules/stuffs, not games using a standard deck.

whats with the bags? They cant make a sandwich without a special bag? Thats one of the "issues" the idiots at my store wrestled with.

The bags are how you place your order. Every category of sandwich has its own bag and you pick all the different things you want on it right there so you don't have to worry about the dead behind the cashier hearing you correctly when you tell her no mayo and no mushrooms and no oil and no onions. The sandwich maker just looks at the bag and boom all the shit you want and none of the stuff you don't.

Plus you can draw cool pictures on the bag of your bag so you can track it in the making process.

Go into any Division stream and the chat is 100% about PC vs. consoles rather than being about the actual game or the stream.
The debate should be dead at this point. Everything is based on the same architecture. Besides 100+ framerates how many people are really playing in 4K at this point? I would think not that many. The only really difference at this point is if you want to deal with Windows or not. The lines have already blurred. Microsoft is already talking about moving the X1 to a more PC like upgrade cycle etc.

Not sure why people can't just play games and be happy.

Ok yeah they didnt know what you could get on the sandwich and now I know why. They dont have to memorize shit, which is good if management would get their act together and not offer something that the store isnt stocked for yet.

So I can give the people a break this time and blame management. fuck ers.

In other news, gamers still suck.

Yeah my dude said it's back they just don't have the shit ready for it since its slowly being rolled out again.

And it's apparently Meatball Day so me & Wren won lunch. Just FYI.

Nope, you have to complete missions to level up. You can speed that up though my joining lvl 9-12 double XP games that are near the end of the mission.
For the record, joining in at the end of missions over and over is extremely frowned upon by the community. It's the helldivers equivalent of fighting game rage quitting to get win streak trophies. Up to you if you care obviously, but you should at least stick around for another full mission if you want to not look like a total weiner.

I usually find ones that say they been going for a few mins and then help out finish objectives, jumping in right at the end has happened a couple of times but usually play through another mission or two cause if those guys got through a level 10+ mission, wanna stick with them so they can carry my ass for that Xp.

My youngest and I played 7 Wonders Duel (which is a 2 player variation on the 7 Wonders theme) at MagFest. It is pretty great. 7 Wonders is great too and has a 2 player variant included, but that 2-player variant isn't as fun as 7 Wonders Duel. I recommend it and will definitely pick up a copy for my self at some point. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/173346/7-wonders-duel

For a coop game, I can recommend Forbidden Desert. It isn't strictly 2 player, but the game plays well with 2. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/136063/forbidden-desert

If you don't mind a really brutally difficult coop game, Ghost Stories is very good. But you will lose a LOT. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/37046/ghost-stories

Which character are you using most? I'm really liking the weapon variety across them all. Each one if pretty fun to play as. I've mostly been using the one you unlock after zone 1 with the laser.
Mostly cactus now because the flamethrower lasts so long. I liked the one that had the spread gun at first, but it's just too weak to accomplish much. I really like how different each character is though.

Yeah, that would likely be too tough for me to bother with. Do you essentially have to not get hit or break your chain for S+? I was just a hair shy of getting S rank for one level. Think I got hit like once.
Getting hit doesn't matter or affect your score, but you can't get downed obviously because that will break your chain. You do probably have to keep your chain active through the entire level to get an S+. I only got one, didn't bother for anymore. The one I got was pretty easy though, early in the game.

So how're you liking EDF 4.1? Surprised you started it up since you only got one trophy in 2017 Portable.
Better than any EDF I've played before. I mean, if you've played EDF you know what you're getting into. Me Paul and Derek played it the other night, it's good mindless fun. Looks way better than any EDF I've played before as well.

boo, looks like Destiny might be Gamefly's DOTD today. $8.99 for ps3/360 and $14.99 for the xbone.
I noticed that price for the PS3/360 versions yesterday while Transformers Devastation was on sale, but I don't remember if the Xbone version was on sale then, too.

Gator with the hot weather arriving down here I'm looking for a go-to session beer for outdoor shenanigans. Founders All Day IPA sounds like a good choice. Any other recommendations?
