PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I didn't get one of those monthly TT statistic emails for February, so I pulled up my friend TT leaderboard for that month:

My grocery store finally restocked the beer section. Saw a few things I wanted to try, like Dale's Pale Ale, Boulevard Single Wide IPA, Sweetwater Hop Hash. Ended up going with a sixer of Stone IPA. Pretty good stuff, not quite as flavorful as the SN IPAs I've been drinking but it's very smooth and easy to drink.

Teaser for Trails in the Sky the 3rd localization, looks like:

Glad to see Second Chapter did well enough. the 3rd takes place 6 months after Second Chapter and is the conclusion to that series.

Its hard to have a billion marvel characters running around when you can't use mutants without getting sued or destroying all their backstories.

I will still be hydrating around that time. Prepping to get shit faced all weekend.

Stotch, that means I am going to be chill.
I almost don't like getting drunk anymore. I've been having hangovers more often.

Does this mean I'm getting old? Maybe it has something to do with me drinking liquor instead of just beer though. Who knows. Lately I'll just drink a beer or two and then have some whiskey or something, to save my beer for later.

Mixing beer and liquor is always an issue for me. If I stick with one or the other and either get some water in between here and there or dont drink TOO much I am fine. Plus a glass of water and a couple tylenol or advil before bed is a must.

But having shots and drinking beer is always going to fuck you up more. And yeah your getting old.

Yeah I try to avoid tylenol too soon after a drinking episode so as to not continue the assault on my liver. I try to drink plenty of water before bed though.

Pretty sure if you're going to mix the two it should be liquor first instead of beer. I usually just stick with one or the other anyway when I drink.

Anyone who really expected that hasn't watched any of Marvel's movies. I'd rather see 10 superheroes I know than 100 that I mostly don't.
Yeah, but it kinda shows how pointless the Civil War movie is. Oh, look! ...seven guys fighting in a parking lot. Holy shit, it's on now!

The movieverse just doesn't have the ability to justify the Civil War concept. The small cast, the lack of buildup from previous movies, and the bizarre characterization twists just completely undermine the attempt.

Going to try and blast through the rest of UC2 remastered tonight, I got up to that cave area with Tenzin and just stopped last week cause that's my least favorite part of the game.

What bizarre characterization twists are you talking about? You've seen a two minute trailer.

Enabling the appropriately directioned turn signal is an excellent way to indicate your intention to move your motor vehicle to a new lane assignment, BITCH

Specifically Iron Man going all pro-registration and everybody just falling into that conflict so quickly. That kind of change just doesn't really work without a lead-in of a movie or three. Shoving the entire conflict into a single film without any buildup just doesn't fit with the world they've attempted to establish. That's been a problem with the movies in general, though--they keep throwing elements in for a single movie and then doing away with them poorly, like with the Black Widow/Hulk thing that came out of nowhere and didn't work at all in Avengers 2.

Has anybody here used You Need a Budget, and especially have you used the new web-based subscription thing they've transitioned to? I had heard the previous version of YNaB was great and I finally decided to buy it, but now it's not an application and there's a yearly or monthly fee. There's a trial, so we'll do that, but would like some input from others on it. We definitely need budget help, so we need something that works well.

Didn't Tony Stark go through something in Age of Ultron that would explain this?

Thanks to Scarlet Witch, he saw a vision of everyone dead; even though it wasn't technically real, it was based on an underlying fear that eventually the Avengers would fight an opponent they couldn't beat. Even though that resulted in Stark and Banner creating Ultron and he was eventually vanquished, the casualties of Sokovia might have affected Stark more than the others. Maybe he sees the whole keep-superheroes-in-check thing in this version of Civil War as a means to keep both civilian and superhero casualties to a minimum?

Sure, it doesn't exactly explain why each hero chooses his/her respective side, but isn't that for the movie to show? Also, who's to say they'll fall into that conflict "so quickly"? We don't know how far into the film that airport fight occurs.
