PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Gamefly user review score at 3.1......ouch. How long is it? You liked it right? I think you and chewy were the only ones to play it.
you probably won't like it like most sane people, but it's awesome. reallllly time consuming. dice roller board game with a warhammer type football skin.

Remember I dig the Risk. So I like dice roller board games. And I like the football. And monsters.

Seems a good thing to remote play while I finally watch Game of Thrones like the Lady is demanding.

Read this one like this:

I really want you to buy that turd so my TT score goes up because there is no way you will want to play it, but I would feel bad without at least acting like you might not like it.

Okay so TLOU is out, so I guess Tembo is it today.

Kilik (or anyone), if you find a copy for $15 or less of TLOU PS4 somewhere please let us all know.  Thanks!

I actually have that game still sealed somewheres
it's definitely my favorite fighting game of last gen. it makes other fighting games feel slow and clunky but it's also enjoyably chaotic even when you know what you're doing. watching evo reruns of it if you haven't played it probably makes it look like the dumbest nonsense on earth.

of course I do _actually_ also like blood bowl 2. so my taste in things is certainly questionable.

Im not interested in searching for other games to buy and then trade or whatever but thanks.
I'm the same way these days. Absolutely no energy to search for ways to make a deal work for me. If I can't just buy the game I want at the price I want it for then fuck it.

I guess that $40 UFC 2 in the leaked BB ad wasn't a mistake since Gamestop will also have it for $42 starting Friday.

If Amazon matches it, it's still eligible for the 20% off.  :whistle2:k

I would like to play a new good UFC game. Problem is, it is made by EA. The digital version already has bundles with some sort of microtransaction currency bundled in. That killed any interest I thought I had.

The 20% Prime discount will always be based on the MSRP at the time, so unless that drops to $39.99, UFC 2 won't go any lower than that if Amazon matches.

You could also just buy 2 other games and return them back to Target since they prorate that stuff, then you'd only pay like $6-$7.
ok, what games and when, where? Does any Target near me even have TLOU? Im pretty sure I havent seen the game at the one near me in months.

Also, how is it only $6-7 when TLOU is $50 on Targets website?

Wasn't TLOU still like $50 during that B1G2 at target? I vaguely remember passing because it was still way too expensive, and I couldn't find 2 other games I wanted at the same store.

I should have realized that was a Therm post referencing the Target deal. I think that ended a while back and haven't heard of another one so you may as well just wait for now.

Even if the Target B2G1 were still active at $50 for TLOU I would have to buy another $50 game. So how would returning the other two bring TLOU to $7?

look wren this isn't that hard. first, go build a fucking time machine so you can go back to the point in time where target had this unusual sale. make sure you go back a few days early so you have to time analyze stock in your area and hide games appropriately, preferably in the ladies undergarment section. feel free to use brickseek.com. although you'll probably also need to find the dpci of the game. so maybe go to the stores first until you find a copy, then write down the dpci and then go back to your house to look it up on brickseek.com. be sure to take careful note of where past you might've been on this particular day because obviously you don't want to accidentally run in to your past self. when the sale starts, find two games of approximately equivalent value as the last of us and go check out. don't forget that values for games varied from store to store during this particular sale and sometimes even brickseek wasn't right - the last of us was eligible but $50 at my stores. if you can't find two games that have the same value, try to get close. but honestly target's receipt prorating starts getting a little weird once things are different prices. anyhow once you have the three games, go out to your car. count to 850 out loud (so that you wait an appropriate amount of time not to cause suspicion) and bring in the two games you don't want. return them at the customer service desk and make sure to hang on to your return receipt so you can check your bank account in the future when you return. before you get back in your time machine, check your shoes for any bugs you might've stepped on and make sure to kill exactly the same number of people to restore balance to the time continuum. hide your purchased game in a location where no one will find it for several months (since you can't bring objects from the past in your time machine, duh) and return to the present. go to the location of your hidden game, pick it up, and you're done. head home and enjoy.

voila! a physical copy of the last of us ps4 for approximately the same amount as it is digitally in this sale. easy peasy.

But wouldn't past him become suspicious when he sees odd activity on his bank account?

My post was pretty clear in bringing up the deal as a past tense thing. It was a month or two ago. I was just curious if the people who didn't have TLOU:R had even tried checking their local Targets while it was running. There were a couple Targets near me that stocked the game still at that point and there were a number of other good games that could have been used with it. TR2013, Sleeping Dogs, DA:I, DMC, etc..

Pretty sure the deal was talked about in here several times, so everybody should have been aware of it.
