Someone got shit all over the floor of the train in the seats across the aisle from me. Then someone stepped in it and traced it down the aisle.

PS is tweeting a pretty constant stream of VR stuff but I haven't noticed a single real game yet. Not sure how they think they'll get sales with tech demos.

Those ARE the games they are going to sell though. All 50 of their supposed games at launch will be glorified tech demos where you tryto grab boobies.

Honestly I was expecting a Heavy Rain/Beyond 2 Souls kinda thing at or close to launch. Having an interactive story where you play a character in 1st person would fit pretty well with the way VR works while still being pretty simplistic in function.

I got a similar feeling from the Artorias fight, though that almost felt more thrilling since I was fighting another sword-user instead of a giant dog.

I think they're technically different games, but the PS4 version runs at 60fps if you care about that sort of thing. Online co-op is also supposed to be better on PS4. Tyler played that last week, so he might be able to offer more insight.

 
Played a little ways past the first boss in Salt and Sanctuary last night. It's really awesome. 2D Dark Souls through and through. It's actually a little irksome how much they ripped from it. Menus, items, and the user interface all look identical. I would have liked to see them give it their own spin in at least some regard, but I guess it's hard to complain since it is really fun. Leveling up is a little different since you have a massive skill tree instead of throwing points directly into a stat. Can't wait to put some more time into it (though I wonder if I'm going to end up being burnt out on this time of game just before Dark Souls 3 drops). 

 
S+ on the first 3 levels of AAC. Haven't tried anything in the second zone yet though since I keep trying to S rank everything. Didn't think I'd get quite so attached to the scoring mechanic in this game. Keep getting destroyed during that first boss fight, dunno if I'll be able to get anywhere near S+ on that one. I've been playing mostly as holly. 

Anyone else playing other than Tyler and Mild? I feel like a couple others were, but those are the only two showing up on my leaderboards so I probably need to add you guys to my friends list.

Based on a couple of Amazon reviews, EDF2 runs pretty well on Vita. Personally I'm considering getting that now and waiting for $14.99 or less on 4.1.

I don't know if we're friends (PSN name is also mpaullin), but I've been going through S+'ing. I've been stuck on 3-2 for awhile now, but I know I will get it soon. It really is addictive. I'd recommend playing through all of the stages without worrying about scores first, if only to unlock all of the characters. Different levels are definitely better suited to certain characters. S+'ing boss levels can be tricky since (for the most part) the only way to keep your chain going is to defeat whatever phase you're on. The first boss is actually pretty easy if you use Cactus. Just stay close and use the flamethrower and you can drain his health really quickly.

1957 (when Crystal Skull was set) + 8-10 years would put it set right around the time of the Vietnam War. Perhaps Indy 2.0 could be an archeology student who was drafted / enlisted and then was gravely injured and sent home. That would somewhat parallel Indy's experience in WW1.

I've still got some credit there and I'd rather not get stuck paying shipping. There's no way to buy and pickup in store like at best buy, right?

 
Only have the collect all stickers and reach level 50 trophies left on Saturday Morning RPG.  I decided I'm gonna grind it out for that sweet sweet plat.  Hopefully I don't destroy my left thumb stick scratching those stickers over and over and over and over (and over).

No, you can only use Gamestop.com to ask the store to hold the copy so you can go pick it up. Technically stores are supposed to fulfill those holds for "up to 2 days", but I've been to stores where they set the game aside for only the same day the hold was placed.

Could get someone with prime to send you a copy and pay them back with amazon credit which you can buy from gamestop with your gamestop credit if you are worried about missing a copy at your gamestop.

Playing both 4.1 is the best one. The vita version is the 2nd iteration of the series which was originally from the ps2 version while 4.1 is a rerelease of 2025 which is the fourth in the series. The best part about the game is co-op. Not sure how online is now for the vita version but it was hard finding lobbies in the previous vita version.

I'm good, thanks though! I've got prime, so if it looks like GS is out of stock at any point today I'll just grab it from amazon. Rather use my GS credit though, so I'll try to get to one of those first.

You playing on PS4 or Vita? I used the touchpad on the DS4. I tried the stick once, but then I said no fucking way.

Vita. I played a smidge on PS4 at first, but wanted to play on the bus so I started over there. I tried the touch screen on Vita, but I couldn't consistently get all five stickers scratched like I could using the thumb stick. I have have to switch it up though and just accept I won't get all five most times.

 
So I had a doctor's appointment this morning (good news:

I went to Walmart and got my prescriptions filled. I came out of the store, backed out of my spot and drove up the aisle towards the store. I went around the end to go up the next aisle (away from the store), and this dude was walking up that aisle, to go into the store. He was closest to the row of cars on his lefthand side, which would've been the passenger side of my Jeep. As I made the turn in, instead of staying on that side, he tries to go out around the front of me for some reason, and then shakes his hand at me when he almost gets hit.

I rolled down the window and said "Get the fuck out of the way, you piece of shit." And he just stared, so I drove off. Damn, I'm chill.

So has nobody checked out Galak-Z since it went free? Don't recall anyone mentioning it, though I'll admit I don't always read the thread. Was one of my favorite indie releases last year. Play it!

 
Until Dawn, played some more last night. It doesn't feel too much like a game and I'm not usually upset about games not being games but I'm not sure if it's just that I'm into the story so far so it seems like less of a game or if it's not really much of a game. Either way I'm chill so I'm enjoying it so far.

It hasn't been patched yet AFAIK. I want to play it but I'll wait for them to finish the game first.

I downloaded the "for pussies" patch yesterday. Dive on in!

Edit: Not sure if you were referring to the patch that adds in arcade mode (which is what I'm talking about) or Season 5 (which still isn't out).

So speaking of video games movies, the previous movie by the director of the Assassin's Creed movie was an adaptation of Macbeth.  It stars Fassbender and Marion Cotillard who are both in AC.  I hear it's on Munkyflix.

 
picked up the 1000 combo and boss rush trophies on stream in aac this morning while my boss and coworkers were harassing me on skype trying to figure out why I wasn't responding for work.  good day!

 
I saw Blood Bowl 2 trades into Gamestop for $13, so that $15 Gamefly price doesn't sound too bad if it'll only end up costing me $2 if I don't like it.
