Drive Club should ring up at $40 in store instead of the $60 shown online I think. Cartwheel would bring it down to $20.

Gears of War is 9.99 at Best Buy this week. Price match + cartwheel would make it 2.50ish plus tax.
As usual price match + cartwheel is very YMMV. Most won't let it through these days, it is explicitly forbidden in their policy. If a manager has to do the price match, they probably will not allow it.

Never had one turned down yet... Maybe it's the wink and shush I give the cashiers...

Includes the beta right!? End of March?
https://gearsofwar.com/en-us/community/news/gears-4-beta

In addition, we’re extending the timeframe for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition players to qualify for early access to the Gears of War 4 beta from March 1 to April 11. To qualify, just log on to Xbox Live and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 by 11 p.m. PDT, April 11.

Rare replay on sale anywhere to make it worth picking up?
Best Buy has it for $19.99.

Happy to see the xbox live sub on there as mine expires in a few days. I know CDkeys is a few bucks cheaper, but have people had issues with them in the past? After the 25%, I figure the few dollars is worth the piece of mind.

It never fails to amuse me the way people will toss good money after bad in search of a deal.
If there are other items you would be buying anyway at Target, not sure I see how this would be a "toss good money after bad in search of a deal", since Target does sell other items than video games.

I guess you don't have children. I have 2, and they get Easter baskets full of candy and toys on Easter. It was money I was going to spend regardless.
I guess I should have quoted the guy above me, since that's who I was referring to...

Three targets all refused to stack for me. BB it is!
I mean, the game is $10 at BB and 75% off $40 at Target. IF you can't get both, just pick your preferred store (like if you have credit or want rewards or have a Red Card).

By the way, does their policy support or prohibit Cartwheel + B1G1 50% off?

Somehow I got Godzilla which was on clearance for $13.98 and 2 copies of gears of war using cartwheel for $14 before tax. It looks like cartwheel and gow will stack with the buy 1 get 1 50%. But since I threw in that extra game I don't know how it works. I also bought some other items as well using cartwheel so my receipt looks like a mess.

Just got the Gears of War pm to stack with the cartwheel coupon. Bought my kids Easter candy to help hide it. Hard to beat $2.49.
Same. Or at least the approach. I would modify it slightly and add that the chance of success goes up if the cartwheels at the top of your list are for the other things in your cart, that way they don't even see the 75% for gears. I filled up on some great deals on frozen foods this week

Its a game I was planning to get regardless. $10 + GCU + Reward points > 75% off retail at Target. I didn't even waste gas, since Target 1 was next to where the wife and I went for breakfast, 2 was by the grocery store, and 3 was next to Best Buy

policy supports it.
Cool, thanks. Second question: Is Cartwheel applied at the start or end of a transaction? If I want to get Forza and a $50 game, which would get discounted? If it's at the start, I imagine it would be Forza, but if at the end, I could knock the $50 game to $25 with the B1G1 50% off, then get Forza's 35% off as well.

Saw Godzilla recently for that same $13.xx clearance price, might go back for it. Hopefully there's another cheap game there I wouldn't mind owning so I can get the B1G1 half off.

There's a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off going on at Target right now for video games ???

I saw a copy of Godzilla at 1 of my local Targets for the same price, wouldn't mind picking it up if it is B1G1 50% off.
pro tip: weekly ads are stickied to the top of the front page, shouldve been part of your CAG training

Was this with PM also

Yes it was. Sorry I didn't mention that. It took $7.50 off for each gow and then $5.00 off one for the buy 1 get 1.
Thanks. So basically, the deal is this:

PM 2 Gears and buy a third game 9.99 or more and get all three for roughly $15 (in my case).

I first tried a 3rd game that was less ($9.98), and my total was higher. When I replaced it with a game $14.98 the total was significantly lower ($14.96 for all 3)

Lady at the target I normally PM and cartwheel refused to scan my target Barcode. She said they no longer PM and cartwheel. I bought it anyway and will return it later this week. Have one saved at a BB with GCU

I got Rare Replay and two Gears for $15.47. PMed both to BBY and bought some groceries to help the price shock. Well-intentioned lady who kept jumping into our transaction told me about the Cartwheel and wouldn't let me PM more than one copy of Gears. Fortunately, the lady ringing me up didn't seem nearly as invested and, while she only PMed one, didn't care about the Cartwheel.

Edit. Actually, she must have PMed them all for it to be that cheap. One Gears was $2.49, the other was $3.32, and Rare Replay was $9.66.

*asking

Maybe try proofreading before insulting.
I mean, my mistake doesn't excuse his laziness, though I kept reading the properly used asking wondering why you were saying this. It took me a good 15 seconds to even realize what I did.

But note that I actually read it until I found my mistake, even though it meant I had to do some extra reading, nor do I excuse the validity of your criticism.

Will give it a shot, but the regular cashiers in my area don't seem to do PMs, and I usually get shot down at guest services.

I assume you all are doing these successful PM and cartwheels w/ regular cashiers.

I had success with both. I used a paper BB ad though.

At my Target they only price match at Guest Services. They confirm the BBY price on their tablet, change it on the register, and proceed with the check out. Prior to making payment I ask them to scan the Cartwheel barcode and then pay. Never had any problems.

Had it all setup. Easter candy from Cartwheel.....Check.....4 total games i want.....check.....head to service desk. lady says she can price match my games but she would have to ring them up separate due to the 50% off which i wouldn't be eligible for. So she rang up my games solo and without cartwheel. looking like the games are going back

I go to Target today to get gears with a price match and using the cartwheel app. It was pretty busy and the manger is working customer service and I have all the things i want to get ready to go. So the game get scanned and is priced match no problem first and then the rest of the things get scanned and finally the cartwheel app gets scanned. It all goes well and I am handed my receipt and my bags and just as i pull away the manger grabs my bags and receipt and says "you can not price match and use cartwheel at the same time!" and I tell her "sorry i did not know and i will keep that in mind for next time". She at this point refuses to give me my bags back and receipt and tells me i am not going to let me walk out the store with it and does the quickest refund i have ever seen in my life. It was a little crazy and I ask her if i could still buy the game with just the price match then? she says no and tells me to get out of her store.  Lets just say that was the strangest target visit i have ever had.

I got my copy for $2.49 but I usually check out with other stuff that I need anyway. The lady at guest services scanned cartwheel after price match and ringing up my others items without even thinking twice.

I definitely don't recommend just price matching a copy of the game and then using cartwheel.
