PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I hated Life is Strange, but I was also excited to play it after hearing it was the best game of last year by all of GAF. You might like it after hearing it was disappointing from people like me and Gator.

I think expectations can have a lot to do with how people perceive things. If I went into Life is Strange with a more realistic expectation of the game, I probably would have enjoyed it more.
Nope it was shit game full of teen angst bullshit

Went back to Ninja Senki DX while waiting for car stuff and finished stage 12. That boss wasn't as hard as some of the earlier ones, but it still took me a bunch of tries once I was finally able to get there. Stage 13 is kicking my ass now.

Still no trophies.

I have this Thursday and Easter Monday off, too.
I'm itching to take some time off but have too much going on at work with customers wanting to go live in some applications on April 1 and we have our every 2 years usergroup conference Thursday and Friday of next week on top of it. I'm likely taking a week off the middle of April to do nothing but game and watch movies.

Or do this lol

I do have a black neighbor, probably in his 50s, who reminds me of Flanders, just without the inos and diddlys. A typical conversation will start with something along the lines of "Hello neighbor, how are you on this gorgeous afternoon?"

What is with this win probability crap that espn.com has on every headline for the last few days?

Nova is up by 19 with two minutes left. I can figure out their win probability by myself, thanks!

Me as well. :(

Made my purchase ~30 hours ago, still no email. Checked the transactions list on the site and that purchase still isn't listed, either; once it is listed there will be a link to the code, but not yet.
The transactions shows the points as pending. Once that disappears the order should be completed according to the help icon on the site.

Uh....When I get a psn code from sony rewards it is instant because there is a button that says something like click to reveal code on the order confirmation screen

It's so funny to see people still trying to sell super old codes in the PSN trading thread. Clearly no one wants Quest for Booty or else you would've sold it by now.

No good game deals at Half Price Books with the 50% off coupon (only like 10 PS4 games), but did get DuckTaes DVD volume 2.
It's so sad that Disney stopped releasing their 80's and 90's afternoon cartoons on DVD. It's a tie for me between Tale Spin and Ducktales for my favorite of that era.

Sounds like you need to stop with the spray and pray or at least change up your weapon type usage. Also if you shoot them in the head you can follow up with a punch or kick and stomp them while theyre on the ground.

Yeah I had been doing okay, having just enough ammo to get by but I ran into these tribal fuckers with masks that just ate everything I threw at them. I may be missing some trick to killing them though.

Not sure if anyone cares, or if you're a comic book fan, but Marvel Unlimited is having a promotion to go along with Season 2 of DareDevil.

I had signed up with them before, a couple years ago. If I remember correctly the app could use alot of work. The pages were either zoomed out too far, or you have to scroll through things panel by panel using "Smart Panels" (which tends to cut things off)

Regardless, for $60 I'm slightly tempted to sign back up.

I would usually just use a pistol for the weaker guys and a shotgun and rifle for the stronger ones. Never fucked wih the assault rifles and grenade launchers and rarely used the magnum for boss fights. Personal preference though.

And if youre really having trouble there's a bit of an rpg element where you can grind money in mercenaries/previous levels and upgrade your shit. Also you can stock up on ammo and store it all from an easy dificulty run and use it later since the storage is across multiple playthroughs.

Anyone played that Abyss Odyssey game? Looks kinda cool.
I've played this on the PS4. It's OK. The story and aesthetics appealed to me. Your character is trying to make it to the bottom of the abyss to defeat a warlock that is menacing the town. If you die, you lose any items you collected and start back at the top of a new abyss. Your character levels up as you defeat enemies unlocking skills. You can capture the souls of enemies you defeat and switch to play as that enemy until you die. If you do that, then you revert back to the character when the enemy you were playing as dies; essentially giving you an extra life.

The controls are kind of stiff; I think Therm mentions that in a later post. It doesn't take long to beat the game, and the replayability is low, plus no plat. I paid $7.50 for it; I think $4.50 is decent price.

Your word choice and phrasing was silly in places but the delivery was good. I would have liked to have seen more varied aspects of the gameplay replace maybe half the time you spent showing the gem-matching bit, though; the additional gem-matching footage didn't reveal anything extra about the game so it was just wasted video to accompany your narration. Showing footage of what you were talking about with the mission types and such would have been more interesting.

Not bad for a first effort. I think it'll work better if you do decide to put more time into it and take the effort to splice together more from various bits of gameplay.
Thanks.

I kind of just do some gameplay then just record over it. No doubt editing in different gameplay clips that go along with the narration would be better, but I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon. Just too much effort for now.

Went to post this on Untapped but it's not listed and I didn't want to deal with adding a new beer. Japa Stout from Chauhan. A bit mild for a stout but quite pleasant. I liked this even though I don't usually enjoy those:

Can't remember--Kilik have we talked about Chauhan before? Indian fusion over by the Gulch. It's quite good. We usually go for brunch but their dinner menu is good too.

Teams need to learn to never drive to the basket if their opponent is in the middle of a comeback because the refs always get hopped up on the adrenaline and are all too happy to call a charging foul.

Tried again and just bombed the shit out of those dudes to get past it. I'll start trying to rely on physical attacks more often and see if that helps with my ammo situation.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 19.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 8.1 assists, 1.7 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 51% FG in 15 games since the all-star break.

He turned 21 a month into the season, and was a reserve in a B-league in Greece before coming to the NBA.

Who knows what his ceiling is. Scottie Pippen in Kevin Garnett's body, maybe. A real life Monstar

I think I've spent more on Amazon for the FireTV remotes than I have for the actual FireTV itself.

The remotes are 4 inches long and only come in jet black. Suffice to say they get lost. Alot. A lot. Often.

You can use an app on your phone instead, but the kids demand the remote in their hands.

Finished level 22 yesterday with the kid and only needed help on one level. Thanks Tyler.

Started Nova 111 as well. Both games are my kind of puzzle games. Require some strategy and brain power but nothing too crazy obtuse.
