Thanks, I used the Xbox app on my phone and tried to search for it manually because I always have security check each time I purchase anything from Xbox.com but not on the app. And found other catalogs are free too. I just put "DOA5LR Catalog" on the search on Xbox.com and these add-ons showed up as free: https://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/StoreSearch?query=doa5lr%20catalog&ProductType=AddOns Not really sure if they're just compatibility packs or what though.

Yes, the Costume Catalogs are compatibility packs only.

Is there a link for that $1 offer? Didn't see it on MajorNelson's site.

I tried that old link that used to give a free month of Gold and for my secondary silver account it gives the $1 option. However, for my main gold account it doesn't have the free or $1 option anymore.

Oh and thanks for posting that Trackmania Turbo. My son really liked playing that beta. Mainly for building his own tracks.

I wasn't planning to get the full game at retail price. I was going to wait for a sale. Looks like you can earn achievements from the demo as well. I don't think it's a timed demo. I didn't see the usual 60 minutes trial pop-up when I launched it. Just certain features are locked.

The $1 shows for me, but when I got to finalize the purchase, I get an error. Tried with both a CC and Paypal. I wonder if it has something to do with just redeeming 2 years worth of XBL last week..?

Could be. I'm good though May 2018 and the free month and the $1 one didn't work for me. I've tried to add another year awhile back and it wouldn't let me. Gave me this error...

This much more Gold membership time would take you beyond the 36 months allowed. Please try again when your membership is closer to expiring.

You have to try in your account region. Even I am in Hungary I couldn't buy on the website when the site's region is set to Hungary, because I got the message "Something went wrong..". The reason is my account is in US region (migrated to US, not just switched by console/website). So I can only use it if the website is set to US. But MS locked the regions, so nowadays you can not pay card/pp if that's not connected to your country (foreign card). If this is the case, you get "Choose another payment method" or something like that. You can resolve that only by vpn.

The old times if you bought a new Xbox360 you have the option to create 3 new accounts on it and you get 1-1 month gold trial for them. Later they changed it to only one and you had to add your card details. As I think If you did't use it, then the system stored for you and now that's why some people see it while others not - like the last free 1 month gold. As most of the promotion says one per account and for newcomers. Now I used it, so I think I'm off, but we will see...

I haven't changed account regions since the Oman wars. I managed to get rid of my banned MW3 Xbox 360 for minimal loss, and I'm not risking anything with my Forza console over anything.

 
All though I made it out of the Oman Wars without a scratch. I did have a butt hole clencing moment. When you start losing a console and all items tied to it and you have spent hundreds on games and dlc you haven't even played yet that free game that you probably won't even play doesn't sound that interesting anymore. I'm very cautious about that sort of thing now.

Yeah, luckily, I only lost the console and not my live account. I still consider myself lucky, since I have so much money invested in my account.

If you lose a console maybe buy a new one, but if you loose all your life progress with an account (and spent a lot), maybe you quite/give up. I think this is the reason for the console banns, not the accounts. I used Oman, Morocco, Serbia-Hercegovina, Algeria, but I never shared my account, and never made multiple downloads. I'm still fine, but maybe just a lucky one. :)

Yeah, if I lost my account I would have been devastated; I've had my XBL account since the OG Xbox. The console I lost I had just bought on clearance from Target a few weeks prior to the Oman. I only paid ~70 for it, and at the same time Gamestop was still giving mega values for 360 accessories, so trading in the power adapter and hard drive alone recouped my cost. I eventually unloaded the console by itself on Craigslist to someone that just wanted it for offline play.

I just wanted to say I really appreciate the head's up on this! I don't always catch the deals on Gold membership, so it is great to be aware when they pop up. While not a true XBOX freebie, you need Gold for many freebies so this is definitely of value here!

This is it. I have some cats and bought them some of the product they're promoting, "Cat Concoctions" which is like two or three flavors mixed together in a can. One of them is chicken in crab sauce, another is salmon and chicken liver, then there's two others which I forget.
