PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I didn't really like Uncharted. I remember not liking the combat. Empty two clips into a guy's head and he may or may not die.
In the first one headshots kill everything in one shot, even on Brutal. In the second one they start wearing helmets and introduce the heavies that might take a couple of shots.

Is the Blue Moon Peach shit any good? I never drink beer, but it looked good in the grocery store one day and I thought about buying some.
To contrast everyone else, I really liked it. Tasted like peaches and cream. Easy drinking too. I could see someone who didn't really like beer or someone who doesn't drink much of it such as yourself liking it for sure.

Doing pushups properly is an excellent triceps exercise. Boosting your tris will help your arms look much bigger than what can be accomplished by only enhancing your biceps. Pushups hit the shoulders, too, which will also make your stomach/waist look trimmer.
Pushups are just an all around great upper body exercise since it also works your back and your core. If you hold your stomach purposefully too it really helps with the core and lower back.

Like you said, it works your shoulders well and hitting the back at the same time means your waist looks smaller so you look less fat. I havent lost much weight at all (adding muscle while losing some fat) since doing this routine but people who dont see me much keep thinking im losing weight. It feels good too after doing a few hundred then hitting the curls. Your whole upper body is sore but buff.

And I know I said baseballl sucks....and it does, but I am going to NYC Friday April 22nd for work.  Found out the Rays are at the Yankees that weekend.  One of my buddies up there is already going to the Friday night game with his cousin and invited me too.  So I am of course going to stay the weekend now.  He says they have really cool bars across the street from the stadium too that we will hit before and after the game.

Bleacher seats so Im sure it gets rowdy too.  And I might see about making them more rowdy by wearing some Rays gear.  Probably not though....I would be scurred.

Enjoy. This isn't the old Stadium though. I don't think this stadium is nearly as rowdy as the old one. Not even in the bleachers.

I think maybe at the old stadium you might have risked some excessive hassling. People would throw shit at guys wearing other teams gear. Here most of them aren't even in the fucking seats most of the time. I did get into a pretty big fight many years ago on open day in the old Stadium in the bleachers though. But it was with other asshole Yankee fans.

Maybe if you were wearing Boston gear though. Much more hated team then the Devil Rays.

Let's go Yankees!

Its just The Rays asshole.

But we can all agree Boston is the worst. Stotch is a prime example.

Nah they are the Devil Rays. fuck this politically correct nonsense.
I agree, I didnt mind the Devil in the name, but Devil Ray is a stupid team name regardless. I am not sure a sun is better, but The Rays really is the real team name now and The Rays has a nice ring to it i think. Its the reason they have a sunburst on their uni and in the middle of the outfield.

Ah sun shine and flowers.

I was going to capitalize DEVIL in my original post. Glad to see you picked up on it anyway.

Seriously enjoy the game. I doubt you would get hassled too much. Also it is April and might be cold. Many fair weather fans in NY. I remember when I used to go to 12+ games a year and had partial season tickets. April tickets were hard to give away even during the years they were in the post season every year. Open day is a big deal. Other games in April if the weather is cold people don't show.

Anyone really excited for this? I LOVE Borderlands. Can't say I am too interested in this game though. I played the earlier beta/alpha and just don't think I care for the charterers or universe. Might check it out if it is cheap on BF but so far no sold for me. Not even with BB $10 points/coupon.
Not at all. It's a MOBA.

I am actually hoping its cool. I live in FL, I dont need warm weather. I will have enough of it by April since its 80 here now and wont go below until late Oct or November. When I went to NYC in July it was miserable. I just want to go to see the stadium, hang out and get drunk. Couldnt care less about the game really.

Although I am already planning on going to the Saturday afternoon game since I see they are giving away a Babe Ruth bobblehead to the first 18000. I think that would be a good souvenir for the kid.

You sound like most of the corporate Yankee fans.

I don't go too often anymore but the last few times I had club box seats on the 3rd base side 5 or 6 rows behind the visitor dugout. It included waiter service and restaurants (they are inside). Many of the people spend half or more of the game eating the free food and getting drunk inside.

One of my peers, IE I don't work for her, just told me to book a room for meetings we are setting up with management.

So glad I still have a woman in my life telling me what to do.

yeah, im not a big baseball fan as we already established. Im going to be buying a $100 ticket to just hang out in the stadium for a couple hours. At least I am pretty sure I wont be buying many of my own drinks!

I do still want to see the Rays put a beat down on the Yankees though. But I wont say anything just in case the Yankees win. I aint stupid.

So apparently this morning the NFL passed a rule moving the touchback location to the 25 yard line on a one year trial basis.

RIP exciting kickoff returns (and probably lots of injuries but still)

i am still waiting for them to just put the ball on the 20 or 25. They dont need kickoffs and having it kicked off only to see 90% touchbacks is a waste of time. I am all for getting rid of kickoffs completely.

Even better: If a team kicks a FG give the other team the ball on the 30 (or maybe 40). If a TD, give it to them on the 20. No kickoffs and gives the teams more incentive to go for it on 4th down. MORE EXCITE!

Played some of the first fallout 4 dlc last night. It seems to be fairly short, i played for 2ish hours and got through the first 2 main quests, I think there is only 1 or 2 more left.

I guess the main thing is it adds in a new workbench where you can create robots. Added in a few new items to get in order to make them as well that you can find on the hostile robots you kill in the quests.

Quest story so far is kinda meh, could end pretty well though so might not be all that bad.

Oh and thought I was closer to level 50 than I was, only level 44 when i started the dlc, 45 now. Ill get to 50 eventually.

Yea but a kickoff return for a TD can be a huge game breaking play.

Preview for Lego Star Wars: TFA: http://www.destructoid.com/lego-star-wars-the-force-awakens-has-three-improvements-to-the-lego-formula-350266.phtml

There are apparently three "improvements" to the typical LEGO formula in this one: blaster battles, multi-builds, and "new flight gameplay".
Yeah, I am going to call BS on those improvements with the exception of the blaster battle piece. That does look like something new where there is a 3rd person cover shooting mechanic. The multi-builds is just adding a bit more of the puzzle elements that are already in the game to the building parts that have been there forever. The video of the flying gameplay looks just like any other flying level in a Lego game to me. I hope the new flight gameplay is not reverting to the shitastic ones like the first Marvel game had.

I love this idea. That's bloody brilliant.

But they need to keep the kickoff for the penalties that maybe drives the ball back so there would be a return, and of course for onside kicks. Can't really only do them if you say you're gonna onside cause there goes the element of surprise (even though there's only a handful of really surprising onsides every year).

I like the idea. You would also have to work in something for what to do with the ball if going for it on 4th failed I think. Otherwise you would never ever even attempt a kick if the turnover on downs pinned them back but a missed FG gave them great field position.

That along with no kick-offs would almost alleviate the need for a kicker altogether.

Now here's a man who gets it!

Yea but a kickoff return for a TD can be a huge game breaking play.
Even before the new rules, Kickoffs for TDs occured a handful of times a year in the entire league. It isnt a big play and doesnt affect the game 99% of the time. Even fumbles on kickoffs were rare.

I submit to you the 1% circa Super Bowl XXXI

With the new kick location, true enough.

Look at 2010 though, not sure when rule changed

http://www.footballdb.com/stats/stats.html?lg=NFL&yr=2010&type=reg&mode=KR&conf=&limit=25&sort=krtds

23 that year.

Last year was 7

http://www.footballdb.com/stats/stats.html?lg=NFL&yr=2015&type=reg&mode=KR&conf=&limit=25&sort=krtds

So thats not really an argument now i guess.

What about onside kicks? If there is no kick there are no onside kicks to get your hopes up when 99% of the time they

fail.

edit: rule changed 2011 season, so thats why there is a huge drop from 2010 on, looking at 2009 and 2008 both were double digits, after the new rule its like 7-8 a year.

Except kickoffs are boring as fuck and dumbass kick returners usually take it about 6 yards deep in the endzone and only ever make it out to the 15 yard line.

Like Wren said, get rid of kickoffs except for onside kicks. Even on penalties that would change the kickoff placement, just tack that on to where the other team starts with the ball.

Kickoffs probably only still exist now because networks can shoe-horn commercials in on both sides of the kickoff.

They could keep penalties so instead of getting the ball on the 20 or 30, the team would get it on the 15/25 or even 5/15 for personal fouls. Also, when inside 5 minutes the opposing team could have the option to onside kick. Onside kicks, even the surprise ones rarely work anyway(statistically insignificant) so again, they wont impact much if they arent able to surprise teams.

No one thinks FGs are exciting except game winners. They would only be needed for game winners in this scenario which is good. If a team has no incentive to kick a FG inside the 5 or 10 thats exciting too since now the other team is backed up and we could see more safeties, which is more scoring as well. Also dont forget that more 4th down conversions means more TDs in the long run either way! HIGHER SCORING!

I would think they NFL would love to get rid of a kicker too. Less salary payouts is a win for them!

I should work for the NFL.

Ugh, I think I have the flu. My soon to be stepdaughter has it for sure, she got tested this morning. Guess it's time to finally set up the tv I got at the Christmas party in the bedroom and lock myself inside.
