It seems like all TIVs have been sucking lately. Can't even fleece Best Buy with the $10 reward titles like The Division.

Even funnier, I actually bought a toaster oven at Walmart this morning before work! But its for the house. I hadnt had one since the wife moved out because I never heat anything small or eat toast. But I needed one for the kid when she stays with me.

I don't trade a ton but all the recent ones have been to Game Stop. I then buy PSN or Amazon credit usually.

Without the $10 certs I am more likely to just order the few release day games I want from Amazon. Since it is almost the same deal with Prime. I miss out on the points but not having to drive to the store makes that about even to me anyway. Plus I am no longer Elite so once I hit 250 points they issue a $5 cert which I have to use in like a month. Which means another trip to the store to buy a $10 PSN card before it expires since you can use it on a pre order.

Did pre order Doom at BB though. When done with that will probably trade to BB and buy Uncharted 4 there.

Will pre order Quantum Break from Amazon though since I have one last $50 Amazon GC left from my GS credit.

Trading at GS is usually a lot less painful. Once in a while there is a line. But more often then not I am in and out in under 5 mins.

BB trading is better then it has been but still can be a PIA.

Did something change at Best Buy?  I don't recall having the option to set the auto issue coupon before.  I just set it to $20 so that should help since I can't bank any more.

As far as I can tell, no one has tweeted Massive Entertainment ([twitter]UbiMassive[/twitter]) trying to ask if they leaked the NX controller or not or if that's their tree. This surprises me.

I get all my gaming news from Inverted Access. That's the only legit place on the web for gaming news. If it's not on there than its not true.

I didn't realize they're still that low or that it's been out that long. In comparison, the Gamecube (next lowest) sold 21.74m. Wii U is already 4 years in, too.

I couldn't believe it when it came through, there was no fanfare at all about it, just came through in an email. I've been casually looking at a few different workout bands, and I like how the Blaze looks so I pulled the trigger right away.

Good, tough puzzle game. Fun time manipulation puzzles but some of them definitely fucked me up. You have to sync up your movements of different characters by moving them one at a time.

PapiChulo, what did you think of the game? Looks like you and I are the only ones on TrueTrophies to make it to the end. I thought it was pretty fuckin hard at times. And those gold medal times are asinine.

 
Weird. My ps3 was taking forever to sync trophies, so I just said fuck it and backed out at 15% and turned on CartooNS for the little one. The sync went through anyway.
 
It's so stupid how I let that extra dollar or so from being taxed on Amazon now dissuade me from buying certain games. "Sweet, a $15 game. Wait. $16, eh fuck that."

Look for other 3rd party sellers selling the item new on amazon, but that are still fulfilled by amazon (so you can get free shipping with $X dollars / prime). Often times they are within a few cents of amazon's price and if they aren't located in your state they won't charge you sales tax.

I'm done with Uncharted Collection for a while.  The game just deleted my chapter 22 Brutal save.  Note to anyone playing this game: make backups.  It corrupts your autosave data.  Playing offline (as suggested in the forums) doesn't matter.  Patches don't matter.
