PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Tldr: Graphics took a big downgrade and there's some character disappearance during movement, especially during enemy turns. Game runs well otherwise.
Cool, thanks. Been waiting for some feedback on this one. I'll probably pick it up soon, even though I haven't finished Lost Dimension yet lol.

I haven't seen anyone mention deals on them for a while now. Vita thread has been pretty quiet about memory cards since December I think? Gamestop had some on sale for BF, but don't think I've seen anything on them since.

Between the vita card and my external hard drive not functioning, I'm getting frustrated.

Hard drive stuff:

My computer can find the drive. Looks as though it needs a new drive letter because for whatever reason it doesnt have one anymore. When I go to disc management, it says it needs to be "initialized" first, but when I do that it shows an error that the "drive is not ready." Also tells me the drive is offline, which I think it needs to be online to function again. I'm sure if I ever do get it working again, I'll lose the many hours I spent ripping my music onto it. This is why I like physical media.

If you buy your tracks online, typically you can redownload as many times as you want so you don't lose anything really. With a CD, if it gets scratched, you're fuck ed.

Plus you can always burn your tracks to a CD, or back up to another drive.

speaking of 4k, really want one of these now:

http://www.vizio.com/p-series

Didnt you get a vizio wren? Never had a vizio before but im jonesing for this p series in the 65 inch.
I got the 65 inch Sony 850C from Best Buy when it was on sale for $1800 in November. Its $2000 now and hasnt been back down to $1800 since I bought it. I fuck ing love it. Vizio, as Bums said, is always rated highly for bang for buck. Use cnet, rtings, and other sites like the one below to research what you want. Samsung is generally considered the best, but each model from each manufacturer is different. You also want to check out what you want. I wanted looks (the bezel of the TV) as much as functionality so I went with the Sony since it matches the PS4, has great, fast Netflix integrated and is a matte black finish on the bezel of the TV. Really any of the "best" TVs are close enough to the naked eye that you cant go wrong with any of them.

My TV is #2 on the below list. I am already thinking of upgrading to 75 inches in the next couple years though.

This is why I love my TV.   1080p pops.

This TV features Sony’s uniquely innovative new phosphor-based Triluminos Display color enhancement technology and also comes with one of the absolute best HD upscaling engines on the market today.

Hypothetical update:

So I emailed the HR dude back about next steps and if he needed anything else from me, and he said the signed offer letter, and I said i never got one, then he said oops I'll send it now.

Then I got a forwarded copy of the one he tried to send yesterday right after our phone conversation and he missed the dot in the dot com of my email address, which is why I never got it.

TL;DR

I officially have a new job

And a new HR guy that isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.

Congrats though!

I currently have the Vizio M 43" 4K. Vizio gives a great bang for your buck. Gaming looks great on it plus using YouTube and other streaming sites to check out 4K content is awesome.
These new p series have a chrome, i mean google cast built right in.

Only thing I DONT like looking at them is the lack of tv tuner built in, would have to buy an external one to use OTA signal

My TV is #8, there's always better choices but for what I got for $528 I'm very happy.

Congrats Zimm! On your last day at target, you should fuck things up and add some ridiculous cartwheel deal errors, and let us know the time frame you do it so we can get in on it before they die.

Like, vita memory card deals, if those even exist at target anymore

My TV has google cast built in too. Good shit. Most TVs dont have tuners either.

That's a damn good idea! Alas I don't have access to the deals entering part of the works.

#sadface

My 7-year-old Sony 1080p doesn't have any wifi features or a built-in antenna. I'll probably get something new when we get a new house later this year. I don't really care about Chromecast built-in since that's not very useful. Wifi features in general seem kind of pointless for a TV since new devices come out pretty often and don't cost that much--even if a replacement had something built-in I'd probably use my Fire stick anyway, since that works great.

Built-in antenna would be nice, though. Right now I've got a flat paper-like antenna stuck to the wall.

Is that the one that has the road named Chicago Cubs/White Sox Way out front?
That's the new Vikings stadium. And that's on the other end of downtown. Try to keep up.

And mo better than being across the Street from Target Field, I'll be a block away from two local brewery taprooms!

I believe I have the LG at #9 on that list. Good cheaper option, and was under 1000 on bf. Looks and works great, but I'm sure it's missing some of the bells and whistles the more expensive ones have
Under $1000 cause its 49 inches. Over 50 and prices jack up a lot every 5 inches or so. Good TV though!
