The town is probably the best of those that I've seen

Neighbors and Prometheus.

I loved Prometheus. It had its shortcomings but on a whole I liked it. And supposedly there will be another one, and ties into the Alien movies if you like that universe you may enjoy the movie even more.

Miller's Crossing: Haven't watched it yet, but I've heard good things about it. It's a Coen Brothers film (they made Fargo), if you care about that.

New Spiderman 1 & 2: Both are OK, though I liked the first slightly more than the second.

The Town: Pretty good, though it's longer than you might expect (just over 2 hours).

Zoolander: Really dumb and really stupid, but in a fun way.

I have no real opinions to offer on the others.

Zimm, Target is bullshit and I'm glad you're getting out. I went there today to try to find some discounted Cadbury Creme Eggs, and they didn't have any. Now I have to try CVS.
Also BS that Target Pharmacy is now CVS anyway. Some weird business relationship. I didn't use Target but my doc did said their non insurance price for his meds was cheaper then anywhere else. Not anymore. Since they are CVS now.

An hour 20 left on the current cyborg defend mission. Was behind but now it's caught up so it looks like it will succeed if you still need the defend trophy in Helldivers.

Some NYC sanitation worker has been saving stuff he's picked up over the years. The collection of Furbys looks like something out of a nightmare. http://www.lonestar925.com/articles/weird-news-104673/nyc-sanitation-worker-amasses-160k-collection-14539343/#ixzz44DSb9X9j

Especially that one in the middle with his eyes pointed down... what the fuck is up with that?

I don't know what would drive him to pick any of that shit up, but he should have left that one in the trash... it's got that "I'm possessed by an evil spirit and I'm going to kill you in your sleep" look... he's already checking below for a safe spot to land.

Sweet jesus how have you seen everything else? No matter how much of an exaggeration that is, it's crazy.

Anyone want to guess what Matt Harvey's mystery ailment (not arm related and non orthropedic) is that may have him miss opening day?  I'm guessing an STD but someone else on another board said hemorrhoids.

I'd only seen the first 4 Harry Potter movies and read all but the last book so my friend suggested we marathon the series. Just gotta watch the last two films. I'm enjoying them.

I hated Prometheus (full disclosure I hated Alien and have not seen any other movie in the series).

I loved Zoolander although it is in the stupid comedy category.

Mercenaries 3? Ooh yeah! Hopefully it's not a glitchy POS like Merc2 even though I enjoyed the game.

I'm a huge Mass Effect fan so I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic about Andromeda since no Sheppard.
I still hate that EA seems to be dead-set on not remastering the original ME trilogy for PS4/XB1. It would have been a perfect release for N7 Day (11/7) since Andromeda was delayed to early 2017.

Not liking Alien... Did you walk into the wrong theater by accident? How could you not like Alien? Do you not like sci fi or horror? Then it would make sense. Otherwise, it's hard to imagine liking sci fi and/or scary movies, but not liking Alien. And what's great about Alien is that it would have made a great sci fi movie without the horror, and vice versa. But damnit if they didn't meld the two. They melded the two!!

correct I am not a fan of horror, I like sci fi though.

I'm not a huge horror fan either, but I will always watch the classics. Alien/Aliens, Misery, The Shining, The Thing, Nightmare on Elmstreet, Halloween, The Fly, etc.
Mainly just not a fan of gross out horror.

Don't let Guardian fool you. Aliens is plenty scary.

On a JGL kick so I stayed up to watch 50/50. Much better than The Night Before but the ending
didn't do anything for me. Just a bit too Hollywood and cliched. Not saying he needed to die, but that neat little bow was wrapped up just a bit too tight

I love that movie and you could see that ending coming from a mile away but I don't think it could have ended any other way that would have felt satisfactory to me so I liked it.

Why is no one talking about those two Star Wars games listed in the EA leak? Cause Battlefront single player campaign and whatever that other Star Wars game are are the ones that perked up my ears.

I saw Battlefront and completely ignored the rest of it, tbh. A SP campaign might be interesting even though the one BF campaign I played (3) wasn't very good. With it being a Disney property maybe they'll do more with it than Dice themselves is able to.

You spelled "cash grab" wrong
I'm not sure how a Life is Strange GO would even work since there aren't any enemy types or traps you could really use like in Hitman GO or Lara Croft GO. The others make a bit more sense, but you're definitely right.

Haven't played it yet, but it's set in a high school with a time travel element, right? I imagine it'll have hall monitors and some time mechanic. It's an odd one to go for, though, you're right about that.
