Home 'working' again because I still gotta use that software now that it's installed. Gonna go to the Pacers/Bulls game tonight too. Conflicted on which team apparel to wear, they both suck! 

 
Hey Vig, does your local movie theater do $5 tickets on Thursday? It's been a couple posts since you've mentioned it, so I'm not 100% sure.

Also, could you clarify whether or not you're on a quote-unquote Souls game binge until Dark Souls 3 comes out on April Twelfth Two-Thousand-Sixteen?

 
What are those GO games?  Didnt they already make Hitman GO and you guys liked it?  So wouldnt some others be good if they are short and cheap?  And I would like them if they are easy!

I love that no one bothered to correct (or make fun of me) my spelling of Pharrell! I should have know it would be spelled with a PH(at) instead of an F(at).

Hitman was the first and only so far, and I think everyone assuming these go games that are trademarked are going to get made for one and be the same as hitman go are projecting a lot.

Hitman go was fun for what it was.

Im pretty negative/realistic most of the time, but why is it assumed they will all suck if you actually seemed to enjoy Hitman GO? Some more Just Cause sounds great to me.

Not saying they will suck, saying who knows if they will be like hitman at all or not, to me the GO moniker just means a phone friendly game using the IP. Hitman go was a puzzle game with enemies to kill or miss and objectives to do in each level, so kinda similar in that regard to actual hitman games.

That doesnt mean a say life is strange go has to be the same type of game, it could be something completely different.

I'm not good at puzzle games at all but I still enjoyed Hitman GO. I think I had to look up solutions to about 1/3 of the puzzles. Tomb Raider GO is out on mobile and looks a lot nicer so hopefully they'll port that and these others to Vita as well.

AFAIK nobody in here has played both. S&S is fairly easy, shorter, and very accessible, though.

Edit: mpaullin'd. I knew he was playing S&S but didn't remember he'd played Bloodborne.

Well I wont be playing it. I dont play any phone games really. But if someone does like to play them more Just Cause out there isnt bad. Might give them more leeway to make more actual Just Cause games. same with the other brands that I like. Tomb Raider for example.

Or they could fuck it all up by releasing really shitty games. EA goes bankrupt and then we get less games from now on since the biggest game maker in the world went belly up due to stupid mobile games!!!

I will definitely give S&S a shot once it goes on sale. Sounds like my type of Souls game. Who knew I would play a game based on a recommendation from Therm?

It's semantics, but I think Tomb Raider GO would be more in line with the gritty reboot while Lara Croft GO is reminiscent of the older TR games.

We've got at least an hour and a half until the PS+ announcement so random conjecture about future EA cashgrabs is a perfectly fine way to waste that time.

I've played souls games before, just not very thoroughly. I had Dark Souls 1 on 360 and stopped maybe 2-3 hours into it. I have DS2 on PC and also stopped 2-3 Hours into it. You'd think I'd learn, but since Bloodborne is supposed to be faster paced, and I got it during htat redbox sale I figured why not. S&S definitely looks more up my ally visually, and the Therm review made it sound cool so I'm interested.

I'll probably stick with my plan to try bloodborne after I finish up The Division if there's no huge swing either way.

 
I do want to play Bloodborne but feel like I need to revisit Demon's Souls and then try Dark Souls 1 and 2 first. I realize they're separate series but feel like I'd have trouble going back to earlier iterations since they're so similar. 

I'm happy to see there's a PSNP guide for Demon's Souls now. There wasn't last time I looked. 50 hours for the plat doesn't sound too bad.

I really dont care if its EA or not.  Clearly EA isnt going anywhere even if they did make a bunch of dumb mobile games that didnt sell well.

Hence why I said "at least an hour and a half" before the announcement. :shame:

Actually the past four have been Wednesdays and the one before that was a Friday, then Wednesday, then Monday before that. Not sure if I was imagining the Tuesdays or not but they haven't been recent if they did happen. Don't feel like looking back further but it seems tomorrow is most likely.
