Roller Coaster Tycoon World is $20 there. Normally $50.

Planet Coaster looks a lot better, but $20 doesn't seem to bad for RCTW.

Uhhhhh, Amazon won't let me buy due to account region restrictions... is this another Hola! moment?

Hrmmm... reading Early Access reviews, maybe it's for the best.  I can play a 12 year old game with similar graphics and better testing.

and eh they just released it and have be communicating well with plans so far. We'll see. The positive reviews if you read them do seem to indicate the game itself is decent if you can live some non game breaking bugs for the moment and aren't expecting 2016 AAA visuals.

I can't recommend it yet. It's buggy, lacking in some of the Tycoon aspects from previous games, the CoasterCam is atrocious, and framerates are all over the place. Long long way to go for this one...I'm extremely tolerant of early access stuff, but I spent most of my 10ish hours in-game wishing I was playing RCT3 instead.

Yeah, that's a positive, the devs have been helpful thus far. Just hope they don't get buried in the avalanche of negativity and give up.

Thanks guys.  Maybe I'm just moody this morning with the storms but at $10 bucks I can't bring myself to buy it.  Which is funny because as soon as I saw it I clicked and went to buy it.  I need to work on impulse control apparently.  Oooohhhh hamburger.

If they are professionals, meaning this is their job and they don't live in their mom's basement where they can flip a table and say fuck this shit, they'll try to glean what useful info they can and then just keep going.

While I admit the level of UGH THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVVVARR in the Steam forums can go way overboard, particularly in light of refunds, these indie kids must have had a very sheltered life to not be able to handle criticism without packing it in. It's part of the industry and they won't go far if they can't handle it.

Unless they go work for a publisher who lets PR people deal with it, but even then you're trading one kind of pressure for arguably worse ones, like rigid time constraints and far less creative freedom.

 
Supposedly using the gleam solver thing can get you banned from gleam. I guess they're cracking down on people using scripts to automate the process

Happened to me yesterday. It says something like you did too many things at once try again later. Haven't tried today to see if it's just a temp ban.

The minimum ban for gleam is 1 month, so I guess you'll have to check back then.

Oh, and remember Princess Edge - Dragonstone that was in Groupees Let's Build a Doujin Bundle 2? Apparently we're not getting steam keys. Dev's excuse is that they didn't promise steam keys, and fears that the keys will be resold. I'm not seeing a big enough shit storm in the forum thread yet..
